Trivia: In early drafts of Die Another Day, Bond's previous ally, Wai Lin, from Tomorrow Never Dies was set to return in a Hong Kong sequence and aid him. Michelle Yeoh was approached for the cameo, but she declined as she was producing her own projects. The filmmakers substituted a new character, Mr. Chang, instead of bringing back Wai Lin.

Goldeneye (1995)
Trivia: For a film set largely in Russia, none of GoldenEye's main cast are actually Russian. Famke Janssen is Dutch, Gottfried John is German, Tchéky Karyo is French, Robbie Coltrane and Alan Cumming are Scottish, and Izabella Scorupco is Polish-Swedish. While Bond films often cast actors as different nationalities, this may be one of the most amusing examples.

I, Robot (2004)
Trivia: At the US Robotics building, Robertson's office has a subtle easter egg. The window of his office, overlooking the city, was purposefully designed to resemble Robby the Robot from the 1956 movie The Forbidden Planet, specifically his mouth. (01:29:14)

I, Robot (2004)
Trivia: At the robot storage containers, Spooner takes off on a motorcycle to escape. You can, for a brief moment, see the motorcycle wobbling. This is because Will Smith wanted to do the stunt himself but lost control of his bike at 60 mph and crashed, losing consciousness for about 2 minutes. He did recover but was badly bruised up. Will Smith would not ride a motorcycle again after this accident until filming Gemini Man. (01:15:14)

I, Robot (2004)
Trivia: In Isaac Asimov's original short stories, Dr. Susan Calvin was the central figure connecting the robot narratives, first appearing in the 1941 story Liar! in Astounding Science Fiction. Unlike the film, where she is played by 32-year-old Bridget Moynahan, the literary Dr. Calvin was depicted as a considerably older woman, around 75 years old. (00:15:08)

I, Robot (2004)
Trivia: Some fans have speculated that Spooner's constant sweet potato pie and heavy sugar use in his coffee may symbolize his cyborg body burning high amounts of energy and needing extra carbs to function. However, this interpretation is not confirmed by the filmmakers and may just be a character quirk rather than intentional foreshadowing. (00:02:28 - 00:13:07)

I, Robot (2004)
Trivia: When Spooner is walking the street after leaving his apartment at the beginning of the film, he looks over and sees a bunch of robots loading trash into a garbage truck that is labelled with the brand name Canners. Canner is a derogatory term for robots in this universe that Spooner even called one at his front door just moments before this scene. And here we see it is also a brand name of trash service. Super Metroid
Trivia: It's common in Metroid games for Samus to remove her power armor at the end of each game if the player beats the game fast enough or meets certain goals. Even as far back as the original Metroid. With the graphical improvements of the SNES, when coming up with how Samus would look at the end of Super Metroid when shown in a bikini, Nintendo decided to base her looks and face around popular 90s actress Kim Basinger, who was popular and known to most kids from the Batman movie.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Trivia: In the Pentagon, when Kennedy is walking up to Mason, Mason has a brief hallucination, and the TV screens in the background change to blink-and-you-miss-it moments during and after the IRL Kennedy assassination. Footage of Kennedy addressing the crowd, getting into his convertible Lincoln Continental, his mourning wife Jackie in her funeral garb, and Kennedy's coffin draped with the American flag, as well as a mugshot of Lee Harvey Oswald.

Never Say Never Again (1983)
Trivia: This film was plagued by disputes and crew issues, but the costume team still showed remarkable dedication. One of Kim Basinger's dresses was made from a single piece of rare silk, of which only eight yards were ever produced. Despite the film's troubled production, this detail highlights the extra effort put into its design work.

The World is Not Enough (1999)
Trivia: Bond briefly studies a photo of a fallen MI6 agent, but the film never names him. In Raymond Benson's novelization, however, the man is identified as 0012. This makes the book one of the rare places outside the films to expand on the double-O roster, giving a specific number to a character who otherwise remains anonymous on screen.

Moonraker (1979)
Trivia: During production in Brazil, Moonraker unwittingly provided cover for a real operation. British mercenary John Miller was attempting to capture fugitive train robber Ronnie Biggs and posed as part of the film crew. The plan was to lure Biggs with a cameo offer, get him aboard a yacht in international waters, and sail to a Commonwealth port for arrest. The plot collapsed when a journalist tipped Biggs off by phoning his home, thinking that the operation had already happened.

The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
Trivia: When Anya is trying to get the van started and get away from Jaws, Bond makes quite a few funny remarks at her expense. As it turns out, Barbara Bach didn't know how to drive a stick shift and was actually struggling. Roger Moore's lines in this scene were largely unscripted and improvised in the moment.

The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
Trivia: Roger Moore was never shown drenched on screen in The Man with the Golden Gun, making it the only Bond film of his not to feature him soaked in water. However, behind the scenes during the boat chase at the floating market, Moore fell in twice, once as part of a prank and once by accident. In the latter, he opened his eyes underwater and later remarked he saw what local undertakers did with the bodies of the less fortunate.

Live and Let Die (1973)
Trivia: Shane Rimmer, known for small roles across the Bond series, actually contributed to Live and Let Die in an uncredited way. He dubbed a line for the doomed agent Hamilton in the New Orleans pre-title sequence. Hamilton was played by Robert Dix, son of silent film star Richard Dix. Roger Moore, a fan of Dix's father through his mother, personally helped Robert land the part.
