Trivia: The arcade machine in the movie has also appeared in the other two films in the "Cornetto Trilogy", which consists of Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End. The same fence joke also appears in all three films with someone trying to jump a fence but crashes through it or knocks it fully down.

Trivia: The cartoon oven in the kitchen during the first scene of the movie shows the name Hotternell. Which if you say it out loud reads like "hotter then hell".

Trivia: While uncredited for the role, it's mostly known that Kathleen Turner did the voice for Jessica Rabbit. However, that was only for the speaking parts. Her singing voice was actually done by Steven Spielberg's then-wife, Amy Irving.

Trivia: Most people know April O'Neil, but as a joke in the movie, two other reporters are also named after months - June and May.

Trivia: The dream sequence where Sarah sees the nuclear bomb go off and destroys the city, is still regarded as the most accurate depiction of the devastation a nuke would cause to a city and people ever put on film.

Trivia: Megaton: There is a character guarding the gate named Stockholm off in the distance located in a spot that you're not supposed to be able to get to. But through a series of item manipulations and jumping along borders of buildings and obstacles, it is possible to reach this character and talk to him. When you do, he actually has a funny line that the developers put there in the off chance players did manage to glitch their way to this inaccessible character. "The more time I spend talking to you, the less I'm spending watching for raiders... How the hell did you get up here anyway?"

Trivia: Hidden out of bounds in many areas of this game, there are some secret objects the developer dubbed "Lord of the Pies" which resemble a pie with a face on it with a very large top hat. These items are hidden and can only be found by glitching into out of bounds in the game.

Trivia: If an area has a missing texture that wasn't covered by the graphics team, there's a message on the walls that reads "I suck at making maps." This was something left by the level designers for the graphics artist to help them in placing textures on some walls. There is one elevator that if it glitches and doesn't spawn and you fall down the elevator shaft, you will find a few panels like this displaying this message.

Trivia: Dust 2: If you no-clip out of the map and head to one of the edges, you can find a secret message as an Easter Egg reading "In memory of Justin DeJong." Who was one of the developers of the game who passed away before its completion.

Trivia: There is a building that, if you climb up it and get out of bounds, you will find an unfinished RPG weapon sitting up there that you can use. It's just suspended in mid air. This weapon was meant to be removed from the game as the developers decided it didn't fit in with the game's setting. This RPG did appear in previous CoD games but not this one, except an unfinished version of it on that one map. The gun is incomplete, missing some animations and sound effects but is still mostly functional.

Trivia: There is a message left at the end of the credits of the film reading "The staff at the Hotel Artemis hope you enjoyed your stay and that you'll return soon." (01:33:20)

Trivia: A long running mystery of this game, there is one spot where an abandoned building is off in the distance. If you unlock the camera and head to that spot, you can find an odd figure of a man standing there. It is unknown who this is or why it's there, being an unfinished abandoned area of the game, or a detail, or just some odd bug. One theory is that it seems to resemble one of the game developers Shigenori Nishikawa.

Trivia: Daito's personal vehicle in the OASIS is the Mach 5 from Speed Racer. You can see it in the background as he is receiving the Copper Key, and it is also used in the final battle. (00:33:45)

Trivia: If you use a glitch in a certain spot, you can lift yourself up out of the map. This will lead you out of bounds to a highway segment of the map that is usually inaccessible to players. However, if you get hit by one of the cars, it triggers a death animation for your character that is unused anywhere else. This indicates that this area was meant to be playable at one point, but was cut out later in development.

Trivia: Sorrento goes into the Oasis to meet with I-R0k to get the artifact from him. When he emerges from the portal, there is a downed space craft in flames behind him. This is one of the alien space ships from the original 1953 War of the Worlds film. These ships known as "The Flying Machines" or "Tripods". (00:31:00)

Trivia: At the police scene after the attack where the cat attacks Charlie's face, Steven King makes his cameo.

Trivia: The scene where Lois takes off out of Perry's office for her scoop has been censored and cut down for most modern releases of this series. In the original airing, when Clark turns to Perry he says, "Chief don't you think that's a dangerous mission for a woman?" In versions you find to day, even the DVD, this has been cut down so that he just says "Chief don't you think that's a dangerous mission?" with a very faint F sound after where they cut it off and quickly fade the scene to black.
