Another Man's Poison - S2-E14

Revealing mistake: Diamond's office building has an automated push-button elevator (quite a rarity in the 1950s). But when he and Hastings exit and walk into the hall, the elevator doors remain open long after they should have closed. There's also no break in the floor where the steel plating for the lift car ought to be, making it all the more obvious that it's a studio mock-up rather than a real elevator. (00:01:20)

Jailbreak at Junction City - S2-E3

Revealing mistake: The outlaws all have their hands tied behind their backs. But the one wearing glasses, apparently unaware that he's in the shot, brings both hands up to push the slipping glasses back up on his nose, then quickly puts his hands behind his back again.

Dark Shadows (1991)

Episode Ten - S1-E10

Revealing mistake: Willie kneels beside Barnabas' coffin in the secret room. The only opening is the single door behind him, but the light source for the lightning flashes illuminating the room comes from behind the camera, where there should be nothing but a solid wall. (00:10:30)

The Legacy of Charlie O'Rourke - S1-E15

Revealing mistake: Alice is supposedly playing the guitar while she sings to Charlie in the jail cell. But while her fingers are moving, they aren't forming proper chords on the instrument's strings, nor does her strumming match the music we hear. (00:17:00)

The Fifth Victim - S1-E12

Revealing mistake: Sam, the third victim, is shot and killed while driving his wagon out of town. We see a long shot of him riding away, then we hear the rifle firing. But the camera lingers a bit too long after that - just enough for us to see the wagon continuing on its way, with a perfectly healthy Sam still at the reins. (00:16:40)

Dark Shadows (1991)

Episode Six - S1-E6

Revealing mistake: A vampire-entranced Carolyn uses a butcher knife to push open Julia Hoffman's bedroom door. The wood is otherwise pristine, but near the knife's point, you can see scratch marks left by the knife during previous takes. (00:30:15)

Dark Shadows (1991)

Episode Five - S1-E5

Revealing mistake: The mirror over Barnabas' mantel hangs flush against the wall. Yet when he shatters it, the candlestick he throws can be seen to go through the glass instead of bouncing back as it should have done. (00:43:45)

The Man Who Murdered Himself - S1-E10

Revealing mistake: At the beginning of his trip with the TNT wagon, Curry is seen driving with a hill in the background and a road winding past rocks and green grass. Several miles into the trip, he's coaxing the team over a ridge, and when we cut to a close-up, the same road is behind him. It's the same shot, recycled from earlier in the episode. The Prisoner (1967)

The Schizoid Man - S1-E5

Revealing mistake: While they ride toward the helicopter, Number 6 and Number 2 have a conversation. Shots of Number 6 are obviously outdoors under windy conditions: his hair is blowing. But every shot of Number 2 has been taken in-studio with a rear-screen projection. His hair isn't moving at all.

The Prisoner (1967)

Escape from Oak Lane - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: The car that goes over the cliff is at least ten years older than the car it's supposed to be - the 1957 Plymouth Fury that Diamond was driving. It's obviously old 1940s stock footage.
