Hawaii Five-O (1968)

Cloth of Gold - S4-E20

Revealing mistake: Near the end, McGarrett's boat is preceded by the wake of another boat that isn't there when the angle of the shot reverses. The wake belongs to the vessel carrying the camera crew. (00:46:45)

Hawaii Five-O (1968)

Cloth of Gold - S4-E20

Revealing mistake: When the underwater camera breaks the surface in what is supposed to be open ocean, the domed roof of a Hawaiian aquatic theme park building is visible in the background.

I Spy (1965)

Lori - S2-E2

Revealing mistake: In the final chase scene, the substitution of a stunt double is noticeable when Malachi Throne's character suddenly acquires considerably more hair. (00:40:10)

I Spy (1965)

Revealing mistake: For most of the opera house stage presentation, the monster is a full head taller than Friedrich. During the tap dance, however, they're the same height. Although the camera angle/depth of field used tries to disguise this by keeping Gene Wilder in the foreground for most of the shots, it's still apparent that Peter Boyle isn't wearing his probably-impossible-to-dance-in platform shoes during the sequence. The Sixth Sense (1972)

With This Ring, I Thee Kill! - S1-E7

Revealing mistake: In the hospital, a male nurse stands by as Rhodes talks to the patient, keeping an eye on all the beeping vital-signs monitors. But there's nothing attached to the man in the bed - no wires, no leads, not even an IV.

Water's Edge - S3-E3

Revealing mistake: The murder victim's skeleton, which Rusty finds in the attic, has a clear cut all the way around its skull. It also has metal pins holding together what turns out to be rubber bones: one of the ribs wobbles up and down when Rusty brushes against it with the cash box. (00:42:00)

The Gentleman Caller - S2-E24

Revealing mistake: Gerald hides what are supposed to be thousand-dollar bills inside Emmy's magazines. But the money he's handling all carries George Washington's portrait. It's one-dollar bills. (00:30:00)

Catwoman Goes to College (1) - S2-E49

Revealing mistake: The crowd scenes during what is supposedly a Gotham City University student protest rally are inserts of rather blurry old stock footage. Not only is the mob far too large for a mere college rally, the footage is in black & white, while the rest of Batman is in color. Bit of a dead giveaway. (00:23:00)

The Joker's Last Laugh (1) - S2-E47

Revealing mistake: The counterfeit 100 dollar bills that Gordon and O'Hara say look "so authentic" don't actually resemble any known U.S. currency at all. In fact, a close look reveals them to be very bad photocopies of Mexican 100 peso notes. (00:01:00)

Who Killed the Rest? - S2-E25

Revealing mistake: "Who Killed the Rest?" The boat we see speeding toward shore explodes - but in the brief shot of it just before the detonation, the substitution of a model is apparent. The two vessels don't look anything alike. (00:02:00)

Batman (1966)

The Penguin's Nest (1) - S2-E27

Revealing mistake: When Bruce, Dick and Aunt Harriet get into what's supposed to be an elevator, there's solid concrete under the sliding doors where there should be a break separating the lift car from the building's floor. It's visible again in Part 2, when Batman and Robin use the same elevator. (00:04:30)

Revealing mistake: The giant crystal's red beam strikes Zaran at the end, turning him into a skeleton. But the lab specimen used for this effect is a little too obviously just that: you can see the pins holding the bones together, as well as the surgical saw incision in the skull. (01:27:00)

Jean G

Revealing mistake: When he's speaking to Demetrius, Azor turns his back to the camera, and the zipper in his costume is visible.
