Continuity mistake: When Storm and Callisto are about to engage in combat, they are using staves that look like lightsabers, with the hilts at the bottom. When they start striking at each other, both staves now resemble a double-edged lightsaber, with the hilt in the middle. (00:18:25)

Continuity mistake: Callisto's staff is roughly the same length as her body. When she is holding the staff to Cyclops' throat, only the bottom quarter of it is visible, when the rest that isn't obscured by their bodies should be visible and pointing outwards at her left. (00:18:06)

Other mistake: When Xavier is in the War Room with the rest of the team showing where the closest he could pinpoint Cyclops and Jean's location is, he is sitting in one of the chairs positioned around the table. Xavier is paraplegic and usually sits in his own hover chair. While there's no reason he couldn't be sitting in a regular chair, it would be very impractical for him to do so, especially if he's just instructing his team where they need to go. (00:11:07)

Factual error: When going over the logistics of the plan to kill the ten men in prison, Jack tells Walt that killing Osama Bin Laden was less complicated. Continuity mistake: When Medusa is stealing the wallet from the man in Paris, when the man is first shown, he is clean-shaven, has brown eyebrows, and has no handkerchief in his breast pocket. When he is shown from behind, the back pockets of his pants are shaped like a shield. When the shot changes to Medusa stealing his wallet, his pockets are small rectangles. When he is shown from the front again, he now has black eyebrows, a moustache, and a purple handkerchief. (00:06:24)
Answer: For one thing the engine running the pump isn't that loud. The characters have conversations at a normal volume without having to scream at each other. Even if the conductors could hear it, there is no reason they should care or be suspicious. It just sounds like an engine running in the distance and they don't care enough to look for what is making the noise. At that very moment there is also a kid riding a dirt bike in the area. Engine noises are a very common thing.
