The Fifth Element (1997)

Corrected entry: When Leeloo is getting off of the transport ship, you see a woman walking up to her ready to put a Lei on her. The camera angle changes and you now see a man putting it on.

MCKD

Correction: If you slow it down, you will see that at one angle there is a blonde woman (you see her later when she puts a lei on the guy next to Korben and later helps Korben in his room). And as Leeloo approaches, a man is next to the blonde and steps forward. So it is correct.

Corrected entry: During the Senate hearings the senator with the white hair who is to the right of the main speaker can be seen taking off his glasses in one scene and then they are back on in the next, and then back off again in the next.

MCKD

Correction: The senator in question wears his glasses when he is reading or writing, otherwise not. Nothing wrong with the scene.

Old School (2003)

Corrected entry: When Mitch is seen removing the original and copies from the copy machine, the copies are upside down as compared to how he had the original on the glass.

MCKD

Correction: Depending on the photocopier, the image might have been flipped by the optics.

Bob Blumenfeld

Corrected entry: When Frodo looks into Galadriel's mirror he falls backwards, lands on his back, and is seen grabbing at his neck. The camera angle changes and his hand is now at his side. (02:20:34)

MCKD

Correction: Frodo quickly moves his hand back down to his side. You can see that right before the camera angle change.

About a Boy (2002)

Corrected entry: When Will takes Rachel to dinner to confess that Marcus is not his son, watch the straw in Rachel's drink. It keeps changing positions throughout the scene and she's not even touching it.

MCKD

Correction: As far as I can see, the straw never moves from its position at the front edge of her glass.

The Godfather (1972)

Corrected entry: When Michael allows Kate to ask him just 1 question about his business, he walks up to his desk and places both hands on the desk. When the camera angle changes to a rear view of Michael he is seen just standing straight up, when it changes again to a front view he is leaned over with his hands back on the desk.

MCKD

Correction: In the shot from the back you see just Michael's head and part of the shoulders. That's by no means enough to tell that his position has changed.

Bruce Almighty (2003)

Corrected entry: When Bruce steps in the puddle and his left pant leg gets wet, throughout the first meeting with God, the stain changes length and actually disappears when he's pushed back by the filing cabinet draw.

MCKD

Correction: His leg is wet up to just under his knee throughout the scene, including the ride on the drawer. The stain is a little lower when he checks the cabinet and when he steps in (actually on) the puddle the second time, but that's not really enough to account for a mistake.

Bruce Almighty (2003)

Corrected entry: After Bruce gets fired he puts his box of personal items on his car to stop the "gang" from harrasing the bum with the signs, the box disappears when the gang surround him and his car and then it reappears in one of the gang member's hands when he throws it at Bruce.

MCKD

Correction: He puts the box down on the ground, that's why it's not visible till one of the gang members throws it at him.

Corrected entry: When John is talking to Catherine when they are switching vehicles, she is sitting in the passenger seat crying. You can see her tears rolling down her face. The camera angle changes to John and then back to her again and her face is completely dry.

MCKD

Correction: This isn't really true. Tears often seem to disappear after they have rolled down someone's face. This is especially prevalent with Claire Daines, as this is not the only time in the movie, or the only movie in fact, where it appears that her face is dry. Tears typically tend to seem like they've disappeared once they dry on someone's face, but they're still there.

Corrected entry: When Catherine is talking to her dad who is dying she starts crying, but when the camera switches back to her from her dad there are no tears, her face is completely dry.

MCKD

Correction: This isn't really true. Tears often seem to disappear after they have rolled down someone's face. This is especially prevalent with Claire Daines, as this is not the only time in the movie, or the only movie in fact, where it appears that her face is dry. Corrected entry: When Arnold arrives in the teleportation bubble, there is a set of trees about 10 feet away from where the bubble appears. The camera angle changes to a closeup and the trees catch fire from the bubble and they are now 2 feet away.

MCKD

Correction: The bubble expands, and is closer to the trees than it appeared.

Doc Hollywood (1991)

Corrected entry: When Dr. Stone is given the pipe from the father of the baby he delivered, he puts it in his mouth and starts walking down the stairs. The camera angle changes to the bottom of the stairs and he is now seen walking down the stairs holding the pipe and then putting it in his pocket.

MCKD

Correction: Since we don't see his entire descent down the stairs, its possible that he took the pipe from his mouth and that's why we see him holding it at the bottom.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: When Marty throws the matchbook holder at Biff he throws it upright but when it sticks into Biff's chair it's now upside down.

MCKD

Correction: This might be viewable only on the DVD, but when Marty throws the matchbox holder, and if you pause it just before it would have hit the camera, you can see it start to flip over.

Corrected entry: When Quatermain shoots the last of the assassins at a great distance when they came to kill him he walks down the stairs to where the assassin fell and in just a few steps there are 2 men dropping the assassin at his feet. There was no way possible they could have gotten the assassin that quickly to Quatermain's location.

MCKD

Correction: Quatermain waited on the veranda with Reed while the assassin was retrieved, then came down to meet them as they arrived back.

Tailkinker

Corrected entry: When Zack and Bitsey arrive at the motel with the money in the briefcase, Zack is standing in front of his door and puts down the briefcase (you even hear the sound of the briefcase being dropped on the floor) and starts walking over to Bitsey when she calls him over because her door is open. They open her door and when the camera angle changes he has the briefcase pressed against his chest as he walks into her room. (01:09:05)

MCKD

Correction: He puts down his luggage bag, not the briefcase. I had to check that one out twice myself the first time I watched it.

Corrected entry: When they are switching from the hearse to the camper, John walks up to Catherine who is sitting in the passenger seat of the hearse and talks to her with the passenger window not there. When he walks over to talk to Arnold who is at the camper, we see the hearse in the background with the passenger side tinted window up and no sign of Catherine in the car. John then walks back to the hearse and Catherine is sitting back in the passenger seat and the window is broken again.

MCKD

Correction: There is no error in this scene. After watching the movie 3 times I noticed that Catherine appears to no longer be in the front seat but if you look very closely the frame of between the door and the front window is covering Catherine's face but she is still in the hearse. She simply is sitting very still but look very carefully and you will see her head.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Maverick is talking to Joseph after getting back the money from the fake indians, look in the background during their talk, you can see a car in the background driving down the road.

MCKD

Correction: I tried really hard to spot the car but the only thing I could see was a cloud of dust in the background that MAY have been caused by a car that MAY have been deleted when the DVD was re-edited. I think this mistake, if it is valid, should be specified a little better, e.g. by a time code.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Bret is kissing Annabelle goodbye to become the "human sacrifice" she starts off holding the sides of his face while kissing him, as shown from the camera angle in the front, but when they are shown from the back, her hands are near the back of his head, then they are back on the sides of his face when the camera angle goes back to the front again.

MCKD

Correction: Annabelle's hands are at no time near the back of Maverick's head. She starts with her fingers at his ear and slowly lets his head go while they kiss. Continuity guaranteed from shot to shot.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Coop is showing everyone that his 2 guns are the only ones allowed on the boat, he starts off with the smaller black gun in his left hand but when he goes to put the guns back in his holsters, the small black gun is now in his right hand.

MCKD

Correction: The small black gun is still in his left hand. It looks a bit like the other one in this shot because its handle is white.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: How is it possible that the dealer could switch decks on the last hand in front of all those poker players and Maverick was the only one to see the switch?

MCKD

Correction: He was the only one who paid attention.
