A Knight's Tale (2001)

Corrected entry: When William is training there is a scene when he falls into the water in his full suit of armor. Each time the camera angle changes the bubbles from the water can be seen on different sides on the lance. Happens about 4 times during the scene. (00:13:40)

MCKD

Correction: Actually, you only see the bubbles in the river three times. Two of these shots are from Wat's side of the river, and one is from Roland's, making it appear as if the bubbling changes sides (in relation to the rope and lance), but it is really just an effect of the angle change.

Insomnia (2002)

Corrected entry: When the police searched the boyfriend's apartment they never searched the entire apartment. Standard Operating procedure is to search the entire apartment. The killer could have been hiding in the room that Dormer was hiding in.

MCKD

Correction: They weren't searching for the killer, they were searching for the murder weapon. Finch told the police earlier that the boyfriend kept the gun in the heating vents. That's when Duggar told Rich to call for the warrant. Also Francis (big officer with glasses and bold head) was about to enter the room were Pacino was, but the gun was found before he entered.

Corrected entry: When Remo is fighting the bad guys at the Statue of Liberty, he ties a rope around one of the bad guy's neck, and flips him over the side of the elevator cage. The camera angle changes and you see the guy dangling from the cage with the rope attached to his leg.

MCKD

Correction: Remo does not tie a rope around the neck: he loops the rope around the neck. The scene includes a brief shot of the rope also attached to the attacker's ankle. The intent of the scene, reflected in the angle of the shot and the dramatic musical hit, was to fool the audience into thinking Remo hanged him; instead, he merely tied him up.

Next Friday (2000)

Corrected entry: After Craig's father goes to the bathroom at Kay's Grill he's talking to the people sitting around the bathroom and you can see Deebo and his cousin at the phone booth in the background having the same conversation they had when they first arrived at the phone booth during the previous scene. (00:23:46)

MCKD

Correction: Actually they were still talking before they called Kay's Grill, they were supposed to still be there so they could make the phone call.

Correction: You mean Deebo's little brother.

Old School (2003)

Corrected entry: When Mitch catches his girlfriend cheating on him, the bathroom door behind him is closed, then opened, then closed again as he's talking to her.

MCKD

Correction: The bathroom door is just cracked open on the left side. The next shot doesn't even show the left side of the door. In the final door shot, the people in the bathroom come out. The door is open wider than in the first shot as they cut to the people coming out. The original entry is invalid.

Frailty (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Adam kills his brother at the typewriter, his brother is seen drinking straight out of a liquor bottle but when Adam goes to kill him, the bottle is sitting on the desk with the lid on.

MCKD

Correction: Both scenes are flashbacks and the first one is the one Adam made up to fool the FBI agent. There are a great many differences between them.

The One (2001)

Corrected entry: When the redhead helps the evil Jet Li escape from prison he uses a strap to wrap around a guard's wrist to get a gun. He swings the guard around and shoots him and you see the guard falling on his back. When Jet walks by him in the very next scene, the guard is now on his stomach and facing the opposite way. (00:17:05)

MCKD

Correction: You can clearly see him falling face down after being shot. The guys that's facinc the opposite way was the guy standing against the wall behind the falling guy.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: When Serleena captures Kay, she sticks her tongue down his ear and then starts to kiss him right in front of his ear. The camera angle changes and she is now kissing him on his cheek. (01:04:15)

MCKD

Correction: Not true. She licks Kay's ear then sticks her tongue in, takes it out and licks his cheek. When the shot changes she is still licking his cheek.

Oliver Hunter

Corrected entry: Right before Picard and Data fly out of the shuttle bay you see a group or Remens firing on the shuttle bay doors standing in a tight formation. The camera angle changes and they are now spread out. (01:00:56)

MCKD

Correction: They are still in the same formation, but from behind it only appears less tight than from the side.

Bjoern_Buller

Corrected entry: When the Terminator is weaving left to right to get the T-X off the roof of the hearse, you see the rear passenger hubcap fly off of the tire. But in the next shot, it's back on again and then in the next shot it's off.

MCKD

Correction: Look again, it's the front passenger hubcap that flies off, and it stays off.

Daz

Corrected entry: When Gimli is suggesting to Gandalf that they go through the Mines Of Moria, Gandalf is seen replying with his pipe near his mouth. When the camera angle changes to a wide view he is now seen with his hands clasped and when the camera angle changes to a close-up the pipe is back near his mouth. (01:36:48)

MCKD

Correction: There is nothing to suggest that the wide shot takes place directly after Gandalf's reply. It could be a short leap forward in time. Before Gandalf's pipe ends up back in his mouth there is a long close-up of Legolas, during which he has more than enough time to bring the pipe to his mouth.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

Corrected entry: As Axel is getting tossed around in the back of the semi carrying the cigarettes, you can see that a number of the boxes are empty as they are crushed under the weight of his body.

MCKD

Correction: The trailer is stocked as when it was confiscated in a prior bust. The earlier criminals must have included empty boxes among the full ones to fool their buyer. Axel has 'borrowed' it as is, and the latest buyers didn't notice the empty boxes during the sting. Not a mistake.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

Corrected entry: When the rear trailer separates from the semi before the driver jumps out, you see the rear trailer rolling past the 1st trailer to its left, but when the camera angle changes to show the police running to the crash site, the rear trailer is now pushed up against the back of the first trailer. (00:07:35)

MCKD

Correction: Not so. The low shot showing the loose trailer bouncing toward the right of the screen shows a wide separation between the first and second trailers. The next time we see both, the angle is higher, further away and rotated 90 degrees around the crash site, making the loose trailer look closer, nearly against the side of the first trailer- but it's an illusion of the camera zoom.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: During the re-enacting of Mickey and Mallory shooting the cop holding the doughnuts, the cop's partner sees the shooting and then runs across the street to shoot at Mickey and Mallory as they drive away. The cop is seen coming from the wrong angle as he runs to the middle of the street. He should have come from the right side of the screen but he came from the left.

MCKD

Correction: Re-enactments often take liberties and make mistakes (heck, they use a late-80s Mustang in place of the proper 1970 Challenger for the 'dramatization'). It merely shows how blatantly wrong the media can get the facts of an event. Not a movie mistake.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: When Wanda goes to Archie's office, Archie is told that he has a meeting at 12:15 with Sir John. When he gets the call from his assistant telling him that it's time for his meeting, his watch says 10:15. (00:33:16)

MCKD

Correction: He is told the meeting is at 12:30 and his watch shows 12:25.

The Recruit (2003)

Corrected entry: When Al is talking about being from Florida, he says the name of a town where he grew up. He pronounces it "OAK-LA" when it's pronounced "O-KAL-LA". The correct spelling is OCALA.

MCKD

Correction: But we also know that Burke is a liar about most things; and during the lie detector test he also admits that Burke is not his real name. If he has a false identity, why not also have a false background story to go with it?

Friday (1995)

Corrected entry: At the very start of the movie, you see 2 chairs on the porch of Craig's house, but after Craig is finished lifting weights, Smokey grabs one of the chairs that was already on the porch from the front lawn and puts it back on the porch.

MCKD

Correction: A few moments of time have passed, so while Craig was continuing to lift weights, Smokey probably went and got the chair so he could sit down.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: After the lights come back on from the "pinch" everyone in the casino was trying to grab chips and money and a number of people were just running around, but when Rusty is walking through the casino talking on his cell phone to Tess and Benedict everything around him seems to be normal. No one is running around and people are still playing at the tables and slot machines. (01:29:50)

MCKD

Correction: Rusty called right after the lights came back on. We don't actually see Rusty just yet. He could still be up in the room, outside by the pool, anywhere. The call came just as Terry and Tess are leaving the fight. Terry then had to leave the MGM, get back to the Bellagio in the middle of fight night traffic on the Vegas strip (which anyone can tell you is quite terrible), enter the Bellagio, and get to the security center. That is enough time for casino security to restore order. We don't actually SEE Rusty until Terry gets back to the Bellagio.

Actually, you see Rusty as he makes the call, and he is in the casino. It is apparent in this scene that there's a commotion going on as a few security staff run across the screen behind Rusty.

Heist (2001)

Corrected entry: When Pinky is purposely getting hit by the car to distract the police, the first shot shows Pinky facing the car head on as the car is going to hit him, the camera angle pans to a different viewpoint, and we now see the car hitting Pinky on his side.

MCKD

Correction: Pinky is walking across the front of the car, and is partly facing the car to his side, not head-on as described. The cut to the stuntman getting hit is an almost-perfect cut - he is getting hit at virtually the same angle as Pinky.

30th Jun 2003

The One (2001)

Corrected entry: In the very first chase scene, the evil Jet Li jumps off a car and grabs a traffic light. As he is on the light you see 5-6 cop car crashes which total 10-12 cars needed for the crashes, but when he jumps down there are only 3 cop cars around him.

MCKD

Correction: This scene consists of several (many many many) angles of the same three SUVs crashing into one another over and over. The scene was shot twice each with 3-4 different angles each, so you can notice some crashes that produced no visible damage in the next angle.
