Heist (2001)

Corrected entry: When Mickey catches up to Joe at his sailboat, his henchman punches Joe in the stomach and he falls down and lays on the floor on his side. When the camera angle changes to a close up, he is now on his knees ready to get up.

MCKD

Correction: When Joe goes down, shot in the back of the left leg, he is down on the dock resting on his right arm and knees, not on his side. The camera changes, and he's still on his right arm and knees.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Maverick, Cooper, and the commodore are in the woods near the end of the movie, Maverick throws a gun up in the air for them to fight over but Cooper still had his gun in his holster. He was never forced to give it up so therefore he didn't need to fight the commodore over the tossed gun. (01:56:10)

MCKD

Correction: .SPOILERS. Since Coop is Maverick's father, he probably knew that gun was not loaded, and not in any danger from the Commodore.

The Program (1993)

Corrected entry: When Joe makes the run for a touchdown during the last game, the ball keeps on switching from his left hand to his right hand throughout the run.

MCKD

Correction: A good football player will switch the ball to a different hand to prevent a forced fumble.

Roxanne (1987)

Corrected entry: When the guys are walking the cow down the street, cars appear and disappear in the background throughout the scene.

MCKD

Correction: Two cars are parked on the curb - all the rest are being driven.

Heist (2001)

Corrected entry: When Jimmy knocks out Joe at the airport, Joe is standing directly in the door frame of the garage door. When the camera shows Joe on the floor knocked out, he is now about 6 feet away from the door frame and he's not facing the correct position.

MCKD

Correction: When Joe is knocked out (1:11:08), he falls, but the camera shows he & Jimmy at shoulder height. Since we cannot see how Joe fell, we cannot assume how he should have fallen. If, in fact, he would have fallen in the doorway, Jimmy would have had to drag him back inside so he could close the door. Therefore, what the director didn't show us, is not a mistake.

Frailty (2001)

Corrected entry: When the son kills the dad with the axe, he's seen swinging the axe at his belt level but then the dad is seen with the axe sticking out of his chest at an angle which could have only been done by someone taller than him.

MCKD

Correction: Actually, the father is kneeling down. So when Fenton swings the axe, it is natural that it would hit the dad in the chest.

Heist (2001)

Corrected entry: When the Mafia guys takes off from the Marina, he just jumps in the Ferrari, turns on the lights and drives away. He never started the car.

MCKD

Correction: Please be more specific when submitting - he drives away from the marina twice. Once at about 0:12:00 and then in another scene at 0:38:58. The second instance is the one you're referring to - but he DOES start the engine - it's just not as obvious as the first time. The lights come on when the key is turned - the sound of the starting engine is clear if you listen closely.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

Corrected entry: Axel takes the I.D. badges from the 2 guys at the warehouse and has them in his left hand but when you see Axel slap the side of box he's sitting on the badges are no longer in his hand.

MCKD

Correction: During part of this scene the camera is facing Axel from behind the two employees. As Axel shouts at them waving his arm up and down, you can briefly make out a gesture of his arms where he switches the badges in to his right hand. Immediately before the camera cuts to him slapping the box, he waves his right hand up and down twice and you can make out the badges in that hand.

Heist (2001)

Corrected entry: When Joe turns to Pinky and tells him to burn the car, you can see a coffee cup in a holder on the dashboard of thew car. The camera angle changes to Pinky's view and the cup and holder are gone.

MCKD

Correction: The first angle is from roughly the centre of the hood, base of the windshield, close up tight to the glass. We see the coffee holder "directly in front of the passenger seat", and a pack of cigarettes under the rear-view mirror. The angle from Pinky's view is sufficiently different to put the coffee holder & cigarettes to the left of frame, so we cannot see it from that view. It's out of frame, not missing from the car.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

Corrected entry: Axel has room service deliver some food to the beige car but when the car is seen stalling in the middle of the street due to the bananas in the tailpipe it's white, not beige.

MCKD

Correction: The car is still beige when it stalls in the middle of the street. It is the same beige car that was parked when Axel put the bananas in the tailpipe.

Friday (1995)

Corrected entry: At the very start of the movie, you see 2 chairs and Craig's boombox on the porch of Craig's house, but after they get back from Smokey's house Smokey tells Craig to go into the house and get the boombox. (00:24:42)

MCKD

Correction: No, that's a milk crate they use as a table.

Spy Game (2001)

Corrected entry: When Bishop is seen walking away from the explosion at the hotel, you see a vertical cut on his face. When he meets Nathan at the airport, the cut is now horizontal.

MCKD

Correction: The cut was horizontal. What you saw that was vertical was the blood, not a cut. That is why in the airport scene the scar was horizontal.

Friday (1995)

Corrected entry: Right after Hector almost hits the Preacher, Hector drives away and you see the preacher and Mrs. Parker walking into her house in the background. Smokey tells his story about smoking with Hector, and then Smokey stops talking and points to across the street, where you once again see the Preacher and Mrs. Parker walking into the house. (00:29:36)

MCKD

Correction: The preacher doesn't walk into the house the first shot, he walks up to flirt with Mrs. Parker, then the next shot of them, he gets to go in the house.

Spy Game (2001)

Corrected entry: When the helicopters are landing at the prison you can see someone directing the landing who is on the ground but no U.S. forces were on the ground yet. He was directing the first helicopter on where to land.

MCKD

Correction: We don't know the details of the operation. There may have been advance troops. We know that there were additional people involved to cut the power so having someone to guide the helicopters is not impossible.

tw_stuart

Corrected entry: When Toula sees the flier at college about Computers and Tourism, you can see the flier is attached to the bulletin board by a small green push pin. The camera angle changes when she goes to pull the flier off the bulletin board and it is now secured by a larger pin that allows her to rip the flier off the board.

MCKD

Correction: Not true; it's the same pin all the way through. When Toula pulls the flier from the board, the starting angle of the shot means that a black mark on a sheet of paper behind the pin looks like an extension of the pin itself, but as the angle changes to follow Toula down the stairs it becomes evident that this is not attached and is in fact something separate.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: Right before the van door slams on the acrobats hand, you can see that his hand was not even near the door when the van door started to close. (01:01:07)

MCKD

Correction: If you slow it down, and use frame by frame as the van goes round the corner, you can just about see Yen's hand in the door.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: The balloons in Rusty's car are made up of four colors only (light and dark pink, and clear and pink see-through with writing on them). When Virgil brings them into the casino, there are now three purple balloons in the bunch that weren't there in the previous scene. (00:35:35)

MCKD

Correction: The three purple balloons could've very well been hidden by the other balloons in Rusty's car, you only see the front view of the car, the balloons could've been at the back or in the middle.

Another 48 Hrs. (1990)

Corrected entry: When Reggie is leaving the prison he gets his personal belongings and is then seen on the bus listening to the James Brown tape he was complaining about when he was leaving the prison. Where did the walkman come from that he used to listen to the tape? It wasn't part of his personal belongings.

MCKD

Correction: Reggie already had the walkman when he was in solitary confinement the night before he was released. He listened to "Roxanne" by the Police with it.

Rex Stanfield

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: Throughout the card game, Russ's sitting position changes from his hands being on the table, to his arms being crossed, and back again as the camera angle changes. (00:07:00)

MCKD

Correction: Okay, first you didn't say which game. But let's take both, the first one. The camera cuts are in elapsed time, not in one sitting. The second game he isn't in every shot and has time to change.

Purple Rain (1984)

Corrected entry: When The Kid first sees Apollonia, he walks around a corner and the post-it board is to his left. The camera moves quickly to the right to show that he's looking at her and you don't see the waitress standing between them. The camera angle changes and the waitress in now seen standing between them. (00:09:45)

MCKD

Correction: If the scene is watched frame by frame you can see the waitress between the The Kid and Apollonia. The pan was so quick, you don't see her.
