Corrected entry: In the film class scene Randy accepts that "The Godfather, Part II" is better than the original, but he later disallows "The Empire Strikes Back" as it is part of a trilogy. This makes no sense, as "The Godfather, Part II" is also part of a trilogy.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: The hole in Anthony Stewart Head's left earlobe is frequently visible throughout the show, but an earring would be totally out of character for Giles - even if he had gotten one during his rebellion in his 20s, it would be almost entirely healed over by the time we see him in Sunnydale, whereas the hole is obviously in regular use.
Correction: Nope. Plenty of people have piercings that never close up, period. I have several family members with piercings from over 15 years ago that never closed up at all.

The O.C. (2003)
Corrected entry: Ryan shows up late for dinner at the restaurant where Lindsay and Caleb are waiting for him because of "traffic". We later see Lindsay driving him home. Since Sandy, Kirsten and Seth were all occupied elsewhere and Lindsay was already at the restaurant, the only other option is that Ryan drove himself, but if this was the case, why would he need a ride home with Lindsay?
Correction: He could have taken the bus or a taxi. There are many other ways to get places.

After Life - S6-E3
Corrected entry: Spike mentions that he knows what it's like to claw your way out of a coffin, but this is later contradicted in "Lies My Parents Told Me", when we see that Spike was never buried (or else his mother would have known he had died).
Correction: Spike is lying. He is trying to score a few easy points with Buffy and change the way she feels about him, so he makes up a story that they have some horrible experience in common. Easy sympathy points. We also don't know every situation he's ever been in - he might have clawed out of a coffin on another occasion.

Ghost Ship (2002)
Corrected entry: The puzzle device with letters and numbers that Katie uses to spell out "I'm so bored" in the beginning is near the entrance when the crew arrives but is later visible in her room. While it's possible the Ferryman is moving it around, it seems unlikely given that (when it's in the room) he doesn't make any use of it to scare Epps.
Correction: Like you said, it's possible the Ferryman moved it around. It's a character decision that he didn't use it to scare Epps.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: Phoebe's final is on Friday morning, but when she comes to the Goo-Goo Dolls concert at P3 (on Saturday, according to the posters) she's already received her grade. There is no way her final would have been corrected and her grade posted up that fast.
Correction: Her grade very much could have been posted by that point. I taught a college course and my class had their final on a friday night, We had to have their final exam grades and overall class grades by Sunday morning. So that is the same time period and everyone's grades were done. Maybe the professor had help.

Smallville (2001)
Corrected entry: In the season 3 episode with Justin, the character who can see people's deaths, we are told he was born on the day of the meteor shower. This would make him 4-5 years younger than Clark and Lana (judging by their ages in the pilot), yet he is somehow in high school with them and getting the same homework. How can this be possible?
Correction: The kid had previously been home schooled so he could have easily been advanced for his age and there fore in a higher grade than most kids his age.
Correction: First, his name was Jordan. Second, it's been well established that Lana was 3 years old at the time of the meteor shower, so 4-5 years is just wrong. Third, it's established Jordan is a freshman, which Lana and Clark are not. Having the same class as other students doesn't mean they're in the same grade. And I often was a year younger than kids in my grade (without anyone skipping or being held back a year), so it's possible Jordan is a freshman while Lana and Clark are still juniors.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: In 'The Eyes Have It' Phoebe's vision shows her that Piper's explosion power doesn't work on Orin, so why did Piper later try to blow him up? Wouldn't it have made more sense to have Piper try to freeze him, or be ready with a knife for Paige to orb into him? Why try a method of attack they had already seen fail?
Correction: It is Piper's first instinct, ie her natural impulse, to try and blow him up, even though she knew it would not work. It does not make this a mistake.

Corrected entry: Room 314 is supposedly in a high security sector of The Initiative which needs to be accessed by a keycard, but in "Goodbye Iowa" all the soldiers are gathered around the door of it to see Walsh's body. How did they get in there? (00:13:45)
Correction: Assuming that the scientists working with Maggie aren't expecting her to be lying dead in the room then the first person to enter the room would most likely stop at the doorway in shock. After that all it takes is for people to stop at the door wanting to see whats made this person stand there & it would snowball from there.

Corrected entry: Anya is introduced as Anya Emerson, but in subsequent episodes ("Checkpoint", "Selfless" etc.) she is always referred to as Anya Jenkins. There is no logical reason for her name to have changed since she was still trapped in the same persona.
Correction: As she says many times after season 3 - she made up the name Anya Jenkins. If she didn't intend on staying in Sunnydale in the first place - what difference does it make if she changes it.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: In 'Graduation Day, pt 2' Percy and guys who are presumably other students are fighting at Angel's side, but shouldn't they have been at the ceremony with the others? Even if they just didn't show up there would have been noticeable gaps in the seating, but in all the previous shots every chair is filled. (00:28:55 - 00:34:55)
Correction: Buffy would have used other students from within the school to fill in certain seats (probably at the back where it would be harder to recognise them).

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: In 'Consequences' how did Wesley know that Faith would be with Angel, or where Angel lived? One episode earlier he didn't even know Angel's name. (00:34:00)
Correction: We know that Giles has researched Angel in the past, and he probably kept this information updated, either in his Watcher diary or somewhere else. We know that Wesley has access to the diaries (we even see him reading them) and the rest of Giles material so if the information was there he just had to go back and find it. Also Xander hates Angel so if Wesley came to him and asked him Xander would likely tell him to get one over on Angel.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: The Mayor, near phobic about germs, doesn't even react when Faith picks up a cookie in his office, takes a bite out of it and puts it back in the pile. Someone as obsessive as him would surely hate the thought of half-eaten cookies being mixed with the fresh ones. We know he plans to keep the cookies since he covers them over with clingfilm later in the scene.
Correction: This is to show how he feels about Faith.

End Of Days - S7-E21
Corrected entry: In the episode 'End Of Days' Xander is driving Dawn to safety and she stuns him with a taser. There is a shot from outside the car of it turning around and driving back towards Sunnydale, but how did Dawn turn the car without moving Xander out of the way, which would be impossible without stopping and getting out?

Some Assembly Required - S2-E2
Corrected entry: Even if Darryl Epps was too ashamed to show his face in public after being resurrected, surely he and Chris would tell their mother to stop her grieving for her son? (00:27:25)
Correction: (Tell her what? your son is a zombie? He's not dead anymore but he's supposed to be... that'd go over well).

Father Ted (1995)
Night of the Nearly Dead - S3-E7
Corrected entry: In 'Night of the Nearly Dead', when Eoin's agent is talking to Ted at the end she says a lot of his behaviour is caused by his 'problem' and Ted replies 'Ah, yes, he mentioned that earlier', but Dougal was the only one who heard him talking about it.
Correction: Dougal is apocalyptically stupid. When told not to mention Bishop Brennan's son, it is the first thing he does - the same with Ted Seller's ridiculous toupee. Obviously he has told Ted about Eoin's 'problem'.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: In 'The Honeymoon's Over' Piper says that once someone is out of a freeze she can't freeze them too without unfreezing the first people frozen, but back in season 2's 'They're Everywhere' she freezes Jack, then when Jeff walks into the room freezes him too without unfreezing Jack.
Correction: This is not correct. In the episode, Piper froze only the "innocent" people to determine who the demon was. It turns out the only people she froze were the DA, Darryl, and Leo. When Pru asked Piper to freeze the rest, she says she can't because once they are immune to her freeze, she can't freeze them as demonstrated later when she tries anyway. This is in no way similar to the Jack and Jeff freeze in Season 2.

The Harsh Light Of Day - S4-E3
Corrected entry: When Spike grabs the ring of Amara from Harmony he's still wearing the huge necklace he had thought was the gem, when he turns around to leave the necklace has disappeared. (00:32:55)
Correction: Spike grabbs Harmony's arm to look at the ring (before taking it), he puts a cross to her head to see if it works and when putting down the cross he also takes off the necklace.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: When Buffy complains about Faith's methods, Giles reminds her "She did kill one of them in the alley", but during the alley fight Faith didn't kill anyone. Buffy staked all four vampires.
Correction: He was talking about the one Faith killed earlier outside the Bronze, when Buffy first met her.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: Spike walks into the school in the middle of the day with only his duster for protection. He should be dust, or at least smouldering a little bit.
Correction: Fair enough he would have been smouldering ,however, in the shot from outside the school you can see Spike with a blanket over his head and once it cuts to inside you can see him throwing the blanket off, so he was covered up after all.

Correction: Empire Strikes Back was part of a planned trilogy (as Randy said, "Totally planned"). The Godfather series was not planned as a trilogy. They decided years later to make a third one.
