Scream 2 (1997)

Trivia: When Cici and her friend are talking on the phone about 'Party of Five',they are insulting the character of Sarah and commenting "That girl needs to get her shit together". These lines were written for Jennifer Love Hewitt, who plays Sarah Reeves and was originally supposed to play Cici, and weren't changed when Sarah Michelle Gellar was brought in instead.

Point Pleasant (2005)

Unraveling - S1-E7

Trivia: Christina is thrown out of her house after the revelation that she's been lying about her life, and leaves town on a Greyhound as the camera pans down to reveal a sign saying "Now leaving Point Pleasant. Please come back soon.". This is almost identical (both the shot of the sign and the story behind it) to the Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode "Becoming" (2x21) - both the show's executive producer (Marti Noxon) and the writer of this episode (Diego Gutierrez) are former BtVS writers.

Angel (1999)

Hell Bound - S5-E4

Trivia: Angel leaves the Reaper locked in a metal cage as the camera pans slowly back so we can only see his eyes - almost exactly the same shot as when Connor left Angel trapped in the metal coffin at the end of "Tomorrow". They even say the same thing - "You get to live. Forever". Like father, like son.

Trivia: The tree that the station wagon has crashed into is the same one the cheerleaders were smoking behind earlier in the movie after the Creeper stopped the bus there. Weird coincidence - maybe the Creeper likes that spot?

Shay

Trivia: Todd foreshadows his own death - in Alex's vision he mimes strangling himself (when he's trying to stop Alex changing seats), putting an imaginary rope around his own neck and pulling it tight...

Father Ted (1995)

And God Created Woman - S1-E5

Trivia: In the scene where Mrs. Doyle is telling Ted about the profanity in the book, several of the swears were not in the original script but were introduced by Pauline McLynn during filming. You can see Dermot Morgan trying not to laugh at her last line "Ride me sideways", which he hadn't been expecting.

Trivia: When Kimberly blocks the off ramp she sees a road works sign reading 'Next 180 feet'. The car crash at the farm occurs next to the 180 marker (according to the cop reporting it). These are both references to Flight 180, the plane that crashed in FD1.

Angel (1999)

Inside Out - S4-E17

Trivia: Skip's line in 'Inside Out' - 'Nobody comes back from paradise. Well, maybe a Slayer once,' is a reference to BTVS, and Buffy being brought back from heaven in the episode 'Bargaining'.

Angel (1999)

Untouched - S2-E4

Trivia: In the episode 'Untouched' Angel asks Cordelia 'Do you have any idea how hard it is to think when you've got a rebar through you?', her reply of 'Actually, I do. Benefits of a Sunnydale education' is a reference to the BTVS episode 'Lover's Walk', in which Cordy falls through a staircase and is impaled on a rebar.

Trivia: Many elements of Xander's dream in 'Restless', season 4, were seen again in the season 6 episode 'Tabula Rasa'. In the dream, Spike wears a tweed suit and tells Xander he's in training to be a Watcher (Giles adds "Spike's like a son to me."), also mentioning 'A shark, but on land. A land shark'. In 'Tabula Rasa' Spike is under threat from a loan shark (literally a shark), disguises himself in a tweed suit and after a spell gone wrong believes he might be Giles' son.

Shay

Trivia: There have been several lines throughout the series have referred to Tuesday ('There's a demon trying to destroy the world and it's just another Tuesday night in Sunnydale' in Revelations and 'Dawn's in trouble. Must be Tuesday' in Once More With Feeling). These are references to the fact that, in the USA, Buffy is aired on a Tuesday.

Shay

Trivia: Buffy's prophetic dreams gave several hints about Dawn long before her arrival. In 'Graduation Day, Part 2', season 3, dream Faith tells her 'little sis' is coming', and in 'Restless', season 4, dream Tara warns her 'Be back before Dawn'.

Trivia: Magneto's line 'When will these people learn to fly?' is a reference to the fact that Rogue and Storm can both fly in the comics.
