Corrected entry: When Marty begins playing "Johnny B. Goode", the guitar tone is suddenly distorted whereas it was clean in the prior song without him ever adjusting the amp or the guitar's volume knob. The guitar also becomes more distorted during the guitar solo.

Phaneron

Correction: Turning a knob on a guitar takes almost no time at all. He could have easily turned it between shots, or when his back was turned toward the camera.

Corrected entry: The Army training scenes show African American soldiers intermingled among the troops. The Army was not integrated until after WWII.

Correction: The army training scenes we see are not standard. They are experiments to find a test subject to be a super soldier. If a scrawny asthmatic kid like Steve Rogers has been brought in, there is no reason that a healthy African American would not be considered.

Green Lantern (2011)

Corrected entry: When Hal's friend comes to pick him up at alien crash site, when he gets out of the jeep and starts talking to Hal his tooth turns blue. (00:22:05)

wandilezulu

Correction: That is because there is a blue light illuminating the area, his tooth is just reflecting the light back.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: In the beginning, When they start on their journey to find and kill the sorcerer, they laugh about his "Camel" and say that horses are faster. Hey says "Camels are smarter". In fact he is not riding a camel but a dromedary.

chuysecom

Correction: A Dromedary is also known as an Arabian Camel, and thus not a mistake.

Corrected entry: The new girlfriend is running in high heels and a white tight dress throughout the action scenes. One point they are all sliding down a building, running the streets. Yet, at end of movie, new girl is still very clean in her white dress while all the other actors are dirty and bloody. You would think by sliding down buildings and running around, she would get dirty or maybe a heel would break. But nothing.

Correction: This entry is wrong on a couple accounts, one, she is not in a dress. she is wearing pants, a blouse, and a jacket. second, she is very dirty by the time she and the others reach street level. the dirt on her pants and face is most appparant in the scene where the autobots are being prepared for execution.

Corrected entry: When Frank is in the vault and the old file keeper tells him someone was asking for his file, Frank describes the guy as 6'1", etc. Frank has never seen the guy standing. Their only meeting to date was the police car SUV gunfight where he didn't stand up until they had fled the scene and the police arrest the assassin.

Correction: He may not have seen him standing, but it is not hard at all to estimate a persons height. especially for someone who was trianed.

Hercules (1997)

Corrected entry: When Hercules is at Phil's house he hits his head on a mast and Phil says "Careful, that is part of the Argo" and Herc says "the Argo?" This is not possible because the Argo is a ship Hercules travels on when he is an adult, he also dies on this ship and is burned/buried on the boat. So Hercules can not be a teenager when he sees the mast of the Argo because the boat was not even created yet.

Correction: Hercules is a myth, and subject to artistic license. which is what Disney used in this case.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Peter gets Chris a bullfrog you see him walk through the door on the right but when Peter tries to get the bullfrog out the window the door is replaced by the window.

Under Siege (1992)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ryback first encounters Jordan after she jumps out of the cake and he takes her into another room, she asks, "what happened to all those guys?" and Ryback starts interrogating her about the helicopter. Jordan starts babbling about "I don't remember anything yada yada yada". Ryback then asks "how many on board?", etc.and she says that she doesn't remember anything. She then asks him if he is some kind of "special forces guy or something" and he says " I'm just a lowly, lowly cook". She then says, "we're all going to die". The problem is that Ryback has not told her about the situation. If she doesn't remember anything and doesn't know anything then why would she say "we're all going to die"?

Correction: She just had a gun pointed at her head and was being interrogated. She may not have known what was exactly going on, but she is not stupid and realised something awful was.

Corrected entry: Axel introduces himself at the gun club as 'Richard James', which was the name of Eddie Murphy's musician friend who produced his 1986 album.

Correction: Incorrect. Eddie Murphy's 1985 album was produced by Aquil Fudge with the exception of the single "Party All The Time" which was produced by Rick James, not Richard James.

Corrected entry: Near the middle, when Jason is rampaging through the cornfield party, a guy standing by the back of a truck with a keg in it starts to throw drinks on him. Jason swings but the guy appears to get out of the way and Jason slashes the keg. Even though it looks like Jason misses him, you see the guy with a huge slash on his chest with blood spurting out.

Correction: Jason does not miss. He cuts through the guy, hitting the keg behind him.

Correction: He does not open the door from the other side. he kicks a hole in the wall to "hotwire" the door to open. He did not kick all the way through.

M*A*S*H (1972)

Taking the Fifth - S9-E9

Other mistake: Charles starts a discussion on the army having forbidden the use of curare. The following chatter is all about how things in the M.A.S.H. OR have slowed after curare was banned, leaving us with no choice but to understand that the ban came into effect during the Korean War. Actually, curare was not approved for use by the U.S. Army at any time during the Korean War. (See "Notable Names in Anasthesia" - J. Roger Maltby, Royal Society of Medicine, Great Britain, pg. 14). (00:00:25)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: The whole point of the discussion is to make it clear that curare was never allowed for use by the US military, however since the majority of the doctors there are not enlisted, they know of curare and how to use it on a patient. At no point is it mentioned that the banned occurred during the Korean war.

MasterOfAll

While they never specifically say that the ban occurred during the Korean war, at the beginning of the episode, Charles says "Ever since the army forbade our use of curare..." Then at the end of the episode, COL Potter says "It sure is the cat's P.J.s having our curare back." after they get some supply from another non-American unit. These conversations imply that the doctors had been allowed to use curare by the army until this point and the ban by the army is why they aren't using it any more.

Father Mulchahy says "I've noticed the work goes much faster with curare." Father Mulchahy's only experiences in operating rooms are from his deployment at mash 4077 (he mentions he used to work with children before the war), so he must have "noticed" it there. This makes it clear as daylight that curare was used at mash before it was banned.

Doc

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the Season 4 episode "Mr Right", Timmy wishes that he was always right, and the magic makes it so that anything he says automatically becomes true. When he goes to tell Vicky he has fairy godparents, he actually says, "You'll probably be so busy that you won't listen to me," which Vicky refutes by telling Timmy that she's not only going to listen, but going to videotape him. But since he said that she wouldn't listen to him, the magic should have made that statement true and Vicky wouldn't have listened to him.

Correction: Timmy said, "You probably won't listen to me." he is questioning, rather then just making a statement of fact, so the wish would not force her to not listen.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Episode "New Squid in Town": Every time Timmy wishes everyone in the room would freeze, he, Cosmo, Wanda, and Mark Chang don't freeze, even though Timmy didn't specifically mention that they shouldn't freeze.

Correction: Throughout the series Timmy has been very unspecific with his wishes. It is even referenced in earlier episodes and mentioned that Cosmo and Wanda usually take liberties with his wishes.

Corrected entry: I'm not sure if this qualifies as trivia or if it's just a coincidence. During the scene where Wicki is translating for the German sergeant about the location/number of German troops in an apple orchard, there is a single bright yellow maple leaf on his left chest. This perhaps is an homage to the bright yellow stars of David that Jews had to wear on their clothes during the Nazi regime.

Correction: Trivia or coincidence it is certainly not a mistake.

Zombieland (2009)

Corrected entry: Bill Murray says that he still golfs - in fact he just played nine holes at Riviera. It has apparently been two months since the zombies took over America. A golf course - especially a professional quality one such as Riviera - would become difficult to play (particularly to putt) after only a few days without the grass being cut and watered. After a couple weeks or so it would be unplayable as all the grass everywhere would be either dead from lack of water or several inches long.

Correction: Though it may be difficult you can still play golf on a dried or overgrown grass. he never said he plays well.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Corrected entry: In the middle of the Wolverine/Deathstrike fight, there is a scene showing Iceman, Rogue, and Pyro waiting on the jet. Pyro stands up and says, "that's it," and lowers the ramp to leave. Iceman jumps up and says, "Paul, where do you think you're going?" The problem is, it was established at least twice (most notably when he's talking to Magneto) that Pyro's birth name is John. Even odder, the actor who plays him is Aaron Stanford, so it makes absolutely no sense for Iceman to call him Paul. (01:38:05)

Cheezzy0

Correction: He calls him pyro. not Paul. he just says it very quickly.
