Trivia: Poirot in the ship's lounge is reading the actual May 1st 1935 issue of Bystander (recognizable by the cover and with the correct page order, does not seem to be a simple movie prop), roughly consistent with the time frame of the first season and a contest taking place on the 14th. Trivia: When Kevin opens the fridge to get a bottle of beer, there's a milk carton in the back of the fridge. This carton has Laddie's picture on it from The Lost Boys, same as it was in that film.
Trivia: Originally, the new "Ghost Face" mask was meant to be made out of human flesh that was being stretched over the killer's face, hence it distorts and resembles a "screaming face" like the original Ghost Face mask. This idea was dropped relatively early in filming. However, several scenes had already been filmed with the killer for the pilot, so in some shots, the mask is actually a CG model that's been added in over the original. (Though thankfully it's hard to tell which scenes have the digital mask).
What a Night for a Dark Knight! - S1-E13
Trivia: Daphne talks about Alfred who was like an uncle to her. In DC comics, Batman's butler Alfred had a niece by the name of Daphne Pennyworth.
Trivia: When Barry and Oliver are fighting on the street, a police officer asks for backup and mentions Burton and Nolan street, as reference to Christopher Nolan and Tim Burton.
Trivia: Former adviser to President Ronald Reagan, Lt. Col. Oliver North, served as a consultant for several episodes.
Trivia: They pay homage to the original 1932 movie Freaks. In Freaks, Cleopatra gets mutilated and turned into a tarred and feathered bird for visitors to gawk at in terror. Hercules gets viciously attacked under the carnival vehicle. In this episode, Stanley gets cornered by all the freaks under the carnival vehicle and gets viciously attacked and mutilated to resemble Meep (a feathered freak who was killed by the cops in an earlier episode).
Trivia: Only mentioned in one episode early in the series, Steve Austin's least-referenced superhuman power was his ability to hold his breath for extraordinary lengths of time. Steve's phenomenal breath-holding ability was due to the fact that, even though he had two normal lungs, he had a much smaller circulatory system than a normal human being. Also, the Steve Austin in Martin Caidin's original book, "Cyborg," had an entire array of weapons, flares, communications gear, retractable swim fins, and scuba tanks built into his bionic body.
Trivia: Bert Cohen was paged on the intercom in the Desert Inn more than any other name heard in the whole series. In second place was Monty Levine and third was Thomas Shefsky.
Trivia: The season five episode "Independence Day" featured Chris Bruno's brother Dylan. The episode itself was Chris' first time as a director.
Trivia: One of the girls in Wayne's Missing Children's files is Annie, Clayface's split-off clone from The New Batman Adventures episode "Growing Pains".
Trivia: Aside from his considerable talent and theatrical qualifications, the reason that Jeremy Brett's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes was so nuanced, meticulous and authentic is because the role was therapeutic to him. In real life, all throughout the various Granada Television series (from 1984 to 1994), Brett was plagued with manic-depression, erratic behavior and heart problems, from which he fatalistically felt he would never recover. Immersing himself in the mentally-disciplined character of Sherlock Holmes gave Brett much-needed focus and clarity in the last ten years of his life.
Alienation - S2-E2
Trivia: Pierce and Moretti are questioning a woman at her front door. The doorbell chime is the theme from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Fittingly, she thinks her husband was abducted by aliens.
Trivia: The series was cancelled before the kids were able to learn who Ghostwriter was in his previous life. Producer Kermit Frazier revealed in 2010 that Ghostwriter was a runaway slave during the Civil War who was hunted down and killed while teaching other runaway slaves to read in the woods, and that his soul became trapped in the book that he emerged from Jamal's basement.
Trivia: Bradley Walsh had never seen the original American series before being offered his role.
