Character mistake: Tina Fey fumbles her line and has to start it again. The original line should have been "How long do you think you're going to get away with this? Hazel or Jenna will know we're missing." Instead the second part of the line is "Henna or Jay; Hazel or Jenna will know we're missing!" (00:04:05)
Character mistake: Captain Holt calls the Pimento case "Operation 225641441636324" which he said he arrived by placing a numerical value to each letter in Pimento and then squaring it. But the perfect squares couldn't match up to Pimento since there's only 6 perfect squares and Pimento has 7 letters (plus the last 2 perfect squares don't fit the pattern of the previous 4). Nor is "225641441636324" a perfect square.
Character mistake: When Sybil is telling Basil that the two men and the woman are coming to collect Mr Leeman but he's already pronounced dead, she tells her husband that they are coming to collect him "at lunchtime". However, his colleagues told Mr Leeman they'd collect him at 9:30 and not lunchtime.OliviaD3601
Character mistake: During Garth's filibuster, the Marvel characters come into the Star Wars universe because Thanos is using the Infinity Gauntlet's Reality Gem to cross realities. The gem allows the wielder of the Gauntlet to MOLD reality to his desire, but an Infinity Gauntlet does not work outside it's home universe/dimension, so Thanos wouldn't be able to "jump from different realities" with it. Someone that well-versed in the Marvel Comics universe would know this.Captain Defenestrator
Character mistake: The math test Tina gets a D on has #5 marked wrong. However it is correct. (Additionally it seems improbable she would actually get #3 and #4 wrong since she obviously understood the concept of how to do the problem and only had a problem with the division for some reason, and these questions didn't require division).Bishop73
Character mistake: It is mentioned several times that the Larkins' holiday to France takes place in August. Whilst on the beach, Ma Larkin says that Mariette and Charlie's first wedding anniversary is the following week. However, it is established in the previous two part episode, 'When the Green Woods Laugh', that their wedding date is the seventh of July, the same date that Pop has to appear in court.
Character mistake: In the beginning of the pilot episode, Jessie told the cab driver that her father is in the Marine Corps. However, it is shown in this episode that her father is actually a lieutenant colonel in the Army. It's highly unlikely that Jessie wouldn't know what branch of the military her father was in considering how much she spoke about her military upbringing throughout the series.AD
Character mistake: Maria (Felipe's cousin) supposedly didn't understand any English (only single words like "yes") and would answer (in Spanish) "Que?" after a full sentence of English was spoken to her. However, in front of Jack, one of the girls said to Maria "Tell Jack the new English word you just learned" and Maria understandingly responded "No." There's no way that Maria could respond correctly to that question since she didn't understand any other English sentences throughout the episode.
Character mistake: Vertigris tells Joker he planted a bomb in the Batmobile while it was parked in front of City Hall/Police HQ. Only in this instance, it wasn't. It was parked in the alley out back, the better to hide his bomb-planting from public view, so it's strange that he'd forget this. (00:08:15)Jean G
Character mistake: When Charlotte is looking at her wedding announcement in the New York Times, there is a close-up shot of part of the article. It says, in reference to Charlotte: "She is a writer and editor at Fashions Magazine in Manhattan". This is not true, nor has it ever been true. Perhaps the producers of the show threw that in, to see if anyone would notice. Also, the same article mentions: "The bride, who will be keeping her name..." and yet we never really hear Charlotte use the name York instead of Goldenblatt. (00:16:45)
Character mistake: When Olivia turns up at Jackson's house, she says, "That was my Saturday afternoon. This is my Saturday night!" which indicates it is the same day. But when Cooper arrives, he says, "Sorry for blowing off at you yesterday," which means another day has passed. However, at the Hannah concert, it is the same day all the while, so Cooper had got his days wrong.OliviaD3601
Character mistake: Zayday makes incorrect statements about blood types. She mentions that, since Chanel #5 is type O-, her parents must also be O-; in actuality, they could each be type A or B (genotypes AO or BO, respectively) and could also have Rh+ blood as long as they also carry the recessive Rh- allele. Zayday also says that the child of two O+ parents must be O+, when the child could also be O- (again, if the parents carry the Rh- allele).DavidK93
