Character mistake: At the FBI facility, Agent 11's handler buckles the collar on the dog's neck. Later, when Gordon has put the collar on and tries to get it off, he's trying to pry it off. He just buckled it on not two minutes earlier. He's stupid, but not that stupid.
Character mistake: The Rufus hologram states that he first brought the phone booth to the Chosen Ones (Bill and Ted) in 1989, referencing events of the original film. While that was the year the first movie came out, it took place in 1988 (indicated by the opening title card and dialogue throughout the movie).
Character mistake: In the New Orleans scene in the cop car he calls in an officer down and describes the black vehicle as a Tahoe, but it's a GMC Yukon. He also describes the suspect as "Male, black suit and tie" but when he exits the vehicle they are both blue.
Character mistake: After the Lieutenant is shot and is in hospital, his CO is explaining what the GHOST system is. He explains that the acronym is "Guided High Altitude Scrambling Transmitter" - which would be GHAST. Replacing "altitude" for "orbit", which is probably what was intended, would make a Guided High Orbit Scrambling Transmitter - or the GHOST system henceforth referred to in the film. (00:06:25)
Character mistake: After the smoking seminarians joke, Bergoglio replies to Pope Benedict 's phrase about being alone "Isaiah 41, chapter 10." It's not chapter 10, but rather verse 10, of chapter 41. (00:52:50)
Character mistake: When asking for the address of the Blue Oyster club Proctor states it is 621, but when Mahoney arrives it states 655 on the door.
Character mistake: When Gaby's car becomes wedged between two buildings, she says, "Good plan. All we have to do is get over two twenty-foot walls and a minefield." While minimal backstory is given, I think it reasonable to assume that she has lived in what was East Germany all her life. It is thus highly unlikely that she would express a measurement in English units (being bilingual doesn't mean you automatically convert measurements). She would have said something like "six meters."
Character mistake: In the middle of the film Candice answers Michael's phone and says "Michael Atwater's phone how can I help you." At the end of the movie during Candace's family reunion Michael makes an announcement and says his name is Michael Hanover.
Character mistake: After the dance when Monique and Lane meet for the first time, Lane says to Monique, "Hi, you're that French kid staying with the Dorkheads...uh...Smiths next door." But the Smiths live across the street, not next door, as evidenced by several scenes in the movie (i.e. Monique looking out her window upon arrival, Monique throwing fruit at the street sign, etc.). (00:47:40)
Character mistake: When Tim and Ted enter the school, we can hear a group of girls including Tabitha singing: "The wheels on the bus go Pi-r-squared / circumference all around." But π r² equals the area of a circle, not the circumference (which is 2πr). (00:36:34)
Character mistake: When Jamie is first speaking to Aurelia, he says "molto bueno", which the housekeeper woman tells him is Spanish. 'Molto' is actually Italian. (00:38:30)
Character mistake: When Lucky the dog is chasing Slick the cat, into John and Ariel Gustafson's house, Ariel yells out her husband's name, she actually yells out the actor's real name Jack instead of John, the character's name. Pay close attention, it could be easily missed. (01:07:10)
Character mistake: During the race sign up scene, when each racer is throwing their coin into the gold cup as the entry fee, the announcer says Snowanna Rainbeau, and you can see a blue haired pig-tailed character just behind Rancis Fluggerbutter. This character is Citrusella Flugpucker, the 6th listed racer on the board, but she is announced as Jubileena Bing-Bing, who is listed 13th on the board. Jubileena Bing-Bing is the red pig-tailed racer, not the blue. (00:35:10)
Character mistake: When Vivian is in the tub singing "KISS" by Prince, she sings the verses in the wrong order. Not a big mistake, but a noticeable one for a Prince fan.
Character mistake: If you ever called a Marine Sergeant Major "Sarge", he would probably kill you. It just wouldn't happen. That's an Army thing. Also, Marines say "ooh-rah", not "hoo-ah". That's also an Army thing.
Character mistake: When the three are introduced to the adoptive couple, their names are not provided. But the husband then says they want to adopt Moe.
Character mistake: After the first attempt by the kidnappers to get the ransom money, they tell the FBI to bring the money behind the Foo Chow restaurant. Clive gives Carter and Lee the exact same destination. Why in the world would kidnappers give the FBI a drop-off location exactly where they are based?
Character mistake: Close to the end, Madison is looking over the H.A.L.O. list on her laptop. When Dylan's profile pops up, her last name, Saunders, is misspelled as Sanders.
Character mistake: When Dean Martin desribes his writer's block to Judy Holiday, she says that she keeps sharpening his Ticonderoga pencil until there's nothing left but the "Ti," but in fact what would be left on a little nib is the "ga."
Character mistake: When they deliver Xmas presents to Denmark it's already too late - Denmark has the presents on the 24th, early in the evening.
