Continuity mistake: When Aknadin takes the Millennium Rod off Seto, in the close-up of him removing the rod from Seto's hand, he grabs it by the round Millennium piece on top of the rod. When the shot cuts, his hand is further down and is holding it by the rod. (00:07:33)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba shows Marik, Ishizu, and Odion the Millennium Eye, his middle finger is pressed against the eye. Then in a close-up, his middle finger is away from the eye. Continuity mistake: When the Pharaoh is telling the others that the Millennium items have a dark side, Tea can be seen standing behind Yugi. Then it cuts to a shot focusing on Yugi and the Pharaoh, and Tea cannot be seen standing behind Yugi. (00:04:05)

Continuity mistake: When Bakura is speaking to the spirits inside the temple, he is wearing the Millennium Ring and Millennium Puzzle around his neck. When the shot cuts, they have disappeared from around his neck. (00:11:13)
Continuity mistake: When Joey is holding onto the Pharaoh's cape after taking it off Bobasa's back, while Yugi is saying, "The important thing is, we found something of the Pharaoh's," Joey is holding the cape with two hands. When the shot cuts, Joey is holding the cape with one hand. (00:12:25)
Continuity mistake: When young Pharoah is walking along the bridge, a piece of the bridge he is walking on breaks off, causing him to fall over the edge. While hanging on, there is a shot focusing on his father where the broken-off piece of the bridge can be seen. But in the next shot, when the Pharoah climbs back up, the broken-off piece is gone and the bridge is now intact. (00:17:09)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba's jet lands, Marik, Ishizu and Odion are standing in front of the house and appear to be aligned with the wall to the left of the door. A few seconds later, when Kaiba jumps out of the jet, the three of them are standing directly in front of the door. (00:02:02)

Continuity mistake: When Shadi tells the main characters they must continue on their own, in the shot of them looking confused, Joey and Tea are ahead of Yugi, and Tristan is behind him. However, when the shot cuts, Joey and Tea are behind Yugi, and Tristan is ahead of them. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: The Pharaoh grabs ahold of his Millennium Puzzle with his right hand when he senses a dark presence. Then it cuts to a wide shot where his hand is not touching the Millennium Puzzle and his arm is lowered. (00:02:56)
A Reversal of Fortune - S5-E23
Continuity mistake: When Seto confronts Aknadin about the duelling prisoners, he is holding his Millennium Rod in his right hand. The rod remains in his hand for a short while, but later in the scene, when Aknadin tells Seto he can become the new Pharaoh, there is a wide shot shown from behind them, where the Millennium Rod has disappeared from his hand. The rod reappears in his right hand shortly after. (00:18:10 - 00:19:10)
Makings of a Magician - S5-E20
Continuity mistake: When Seto is riding on the horse towards the Pharaoh and Mana, he is holding onto the reins. The rein in his right hand is held with the rein placed over his hand, but when the shot cuts, the rein is placed under his hand. (00:18:42)
Continuity mistake: When Shadi says, "Please guide us through the mysterious labyrinth of the Millennium Puzzle," he raises his Millennium Key. In the close-up of the Millennium Key, his thumb is pointed sideways, but when the shot cuts, his thumb is pointed upwards. (00:04:34)
Continuity mistake: When Joey, Tea, and Tristan tell Yugi that they are coming to Egypt with him, the three of them are holding two bags each, which they place on the ground. The two bags that Joey is holding are placed on the ground in front of Tea and Tristan's bags. Seconds later, when Joey says that they aren't letting Yugi take the trip alone, Joey's bags are suddenly aligned with Tea and Tristan's bags. (00:19:42)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba remembers that the Millennium Eye belonged to Pegasus, Bakura says, "Excellent memory, Kaiba," with his right hand raised so that he can point at him. Bakura then lowers his arm, but when the shot cuts, his arm is raised and his hand is pointing at Kaiba again. (00:18:22)
Continuity mistake: When everyone is standing outside the tomb, there is a shot where Marik walks into the frame. In this shot, Joey is standing next to Yugi. It then cuts to a close-up of the side of Yugi's face, where Joey has disappeared from beside him. (00:03:13)
Tomb of the Nameless Pharoah - S5-E15
Continuity mistake: After Solomon has finished his story, there is a collection of books on the desk next to him. On the right-hand side, there is a blue book. Later in the scene, when Solomon apologises to Yugi for trying to keep the Egyptian God cards, the blue book on the right-hand side has disappeared. (00:13:42 - 00:15:24)
Continuity mistake: When Bakura activates his Spirit Shield to deflect Kaiba's attack, he rotates his duel disk so that he can explain to him that all he had to activate the effect was to extract one monster from his graveyard. When he rotates the duel disk, no cards can be seen in the spell/trap card slots on the duel disk. But in a close-up of the duel disk, two cards can be seen in the third and fourth slots that would have been visible in the previous shot. (00:13:12)
Continuity mistake: Bakura activates Pot of Greed, which allows him to draw two cards from his deck. In the close-up shot of his deck, where he draws the two cards, the life point count can be seen displayed on the duel disk. When the shot cuts, the life point count is no longer visible. (00:13:43)
Tomb of the Nameless Pharoah - S5-E15
Continuity mistake: When Bakura runs into the alleyway at the start of the episode, there is a doorway to a building shown to the left of the shot. The doorway has a step that extends onto the outside of the building. But a few seconds later, when Bakura continues running after falling over, the step no longer extends onto the outside of the building and can only be seen inside the doorway. (00:00:04)
