Continuity mistake: When Yugi sees Slifer the Sky Dragon, he points to it by raising his right hand and then raising his index finger in its direction. Continuity mistake: When Seto calls on Duos to track down Bakura, he raises his left arm and extends it forwards. Continuity mistake: Tea says the time on her watch has stopped, and Joey walks up to her and says that she is right. Yugi is aligned with Joey and Tea when this happens, but when it cuts to a wide shot, Yugi is suddenly further ahead. (00:08:50)
Continuity mistake: Joey and Tristan attempt to climb back through a door that they opened. In the shot of Tea saying "Let's ask questions later," Joey's palms are not touching the floor, but in a close-up of his hands, they are touching the floor. (00:09:27)
Continuity mistake: When Mahad pulls Mana off the Pharaoh and asks her what she is doing, he is directly facing her. The shot cuts, and Mahad is standing 90 degrees perpendicular to Mana. (00:11:16)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba is holding the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card, in the close-up shot, his index finger is bent, but when the shot cuts, his index finger is straight. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: When Seto is telling Aknadin about his plan, in the shot where Aknadin is telling him his plan is immoral and dangerous, the two are standing in a position where they are aligned with one another. It then cuts to a wide shot where they are not aligned. They are aligned again when the shot cuts. (00:06:45)
Continuity mistake: Tristan opens a door and comments that every time he opens one, he finds fifty more of them. It then cuts to a shot focusing on Joey, where Tristan can be seen in the background of the shot, and the door he just opened has become narrower. (00:08:44)
Continuity mistake: Mahad uses his Illusion Magician monster to bind Diabound in a spell. While Diabound is bound, its right hand is pointed slightly to the right and its fingertips are pointed upwards. Continuity mistake: When Bakura tells Diabound to bring him victory, the Pharaoh says "Hold on" and stands up. When he stands, Egyptian Kaiba can be seen behind him with his right arm straight and lowered. Then, in a closer shot of the Pharaoh, Kaiba's right arm is bent at the elbow. (00:18:54)
