Continuity mistake: In the opening rescue where Roy and Johnny rescue the woman from the burning car, Johnny is relaying the woman's vitals to Rampart. Over his right shoulder, you can see a sticker on the trunk of the car behind them. This is probably a dealer sticker. In one scene, it is blue and red, and in another, it is blacked out. It returns to blue and red, only to be blacked out again.

Continuity mistake: After the ambulance Roy is riding in is involved in a traffic accident, when Johnny arrives he jumps into the back with the injured attendant and patient, and we can see that the stretcher's footrest is light brown. But when the attendants exit, they carry the stretcher out of the back of the first ambulance then wheel it to the second ambulance, and the footrest is now red. It would seem that they merely transferred the patient from the first ambulance's stretcher to the second ambulance's stretcher while still in the ambulance, but they couldn't have done that because two full size stretchers cannot fit into the back of that first station-wagon style ambulance, especially with attendants back there, so they would have had to do the patient transfer on the ground outside. Hence the problem.

Continuity mistake: The cut that Roy receives over his eyebrow during the traffic accident changes characteristics, such as when he and John are at the poker game, it looks considerably better in following shots, then it looks much worse again.

Continuity mistake: Just before the ambulance Roy is riding in is involved in the collision, we see a crowd of people at the corner near the stop sign, but in the next shot they've all vanished, only to reappear just as the vehicles collide.

Continuity mistake: After they load the woman from the wrecked car into the ambulance, Roy and an ambulance attendant are riding in the back with her. In the shots of the moving ambulance, until it's involved in the traffic accident, we should be able to see Roy and the attendant through the windows, but they're simply not there.

Visible crew/equipment: When the ambulance that Roy is riding in is involved in a traffic accident, the ambulance driver, Hal, comes out to help, and the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the back of Hal's white shirt.

Continuity mistake: When the victims are loaded onto the second ambulance with Roy, after the original ambulance was hit by the car, we can see the license plate, Z99977, as Johnny closes the back doors. Then while en route to Rampart, the ambulance's make/model changes with plate, Z99953, then the make/model changes yet again, but still has the same plate, Z99953.
Other mistake: When Roy and Johnny are at base camp during the fire, they're dispatched to the incident at Jawbone Canyon. While en route, Battalion 5 orders Engine 51 to approach from the north, and we hear Captain Stanley respond, "Engine 51, 10-4," but it's odd that the subtitles read that Johnny is the one who responds. Later, after Tanker 44 tanks 51, Chet says, "Cap, we've got a charged line," but the weird subtitles read, "Captain's going to throw us a line." Subtitles from Universal Studios 2010 DVD.
Other mistake: At the start, when Roy is reviewing the list making sure he got everything, there are two containers of milk on the counter which have their brand names covered. As an aside, watch Chet as he empties the grocery bag and puts the aluminum can in the freezer.
Other mistake: Just as Squad 51 reaches the Tank Motorway, in the shot of the squad as it drives towards the camera before it zooms out, look at the squad's license plate before it stops. Even through the haze, we can see that the plate number is not Squad 51's normal E999007.
Continuity mistake: While the judge and young lawyer are doing CPR to help, Roy's tearing off strips of tape and placing them on his pants (for IV as usual), then after he asks Johnny, "Were you able to get in touch with Rampart?," in the next shot all those strips of tape have vanished from his pant leg, only to reappear when Roy defibs the patient.
Other mistake: When Battalion 5 orders Copter 10 and Copter 14 to make an air drop on Jawbone Canyon, it cuts to a shot of Copter 14 taking off. This is the same shot used in S3, E6, "Snakebite", when 85's guys tank Copter 14 in order to make a water drop where the teenagers' car is on fire down below.
Other mistake: The Battalion chief assigns tanker 76 to assist engines 51 and 60 with the rescue at the canyon. However, it is tanker 44 that arrives.
Audio problem: In the courtroom, after Roy and John defib the patient who was in full arrest, when John's on the Biophone with Rampart, he says, "We've countershocked 400 watt seconds," but as he continues to say, "Scope now shows...," John's mouth is not in sync with those words.
Continuity mistake: In the courtroom, when the patient goes into V-fib, in the two wide shots while Roy is defibbing the patient, John's holding a tube of conductive gel (for the paddle electrodes), but in John's closeup when he says, "Hit him again," John's hands are empty.
Continuity mistake: When Johnny and Roy walk into the courtroom, Johnny places the drug box on the table with its back facing out, but in the closeups of Johnny and the young lawyer, the drug box is turned the opposite way, with its front facing out.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny walk into the courtroom, Johnny and the young lawyer kneel down beside the patient's right side, but in the patient's closeup Johnny's kneeling on the opposite side of the resuscitator, near the patient's head, where Johnny will walk to a few shots later, when that young lawyer will once again walk over and kneel down.
Continuity mistake: When Deke comes into the ER with the two burned firemen and speaks to John and Roy, the window behind them is on the same side as the ER's receiving entrance. Notice that outside the window there's one of those blue metal shades at the top, which does not exist in the exterior shots of that side of the ER.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny get back to the brush fire's base camp, they join the rest of 51's guys who are sitting and eating. During this entire scene, continuity between shots is off. Chet's coffee keeps switching from Johnny's hand to being on the ground, and then between both of Chet's hands to being on the ground. Also, the bread on Chet's sandwich is either white or a darker type, the sandwich size varies, and it also changes hands.
Audio problem: When Station 51 is dispatched to the brushfire, we hear Roy tell Johnny, "Holly Hills, isn't that where all the expensive homes are," but we see that Roy's mouth is saying something entirely different.
Answer: I was rewatching a few first season episodes of Charlie's Angels (1976), and in S1xE6 "The Killing Kind," I recognized the same actor. So, to finally fully answer your question, the two baseball players in School Days are played by Rod Perry and Sean Fallon Walsh.
