The Stewardess - S5-E1

Revealing mistake: After Johnny joins Roy in the ambulance and the patient flatlines they continue to Rampart, and when Brackett asks 51 for a strip, if we look out the window that's beside Johnny, we can see GlamourTrams in the distance. And when Roy says, "Isopeterenol drip, 10-4," we can see GlamourTrams right outside the window. They are driving around Universal's lot while shooting the footage inside the ambulance.

The Old Engine Cram - S5-E2

Visible crew/equipment: At training center, after 18's guy falls into the trench with the sulfur trioxide, as they're removing his turnout coat just as Roy opens the drug box, seen behind Marco are four crew members who are near the tanker with the sulfur trioxide, past the trench.

The Old Engine Cram - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: When Dixie shows Johnny the newspaper, Johnny reads the ad aloud which states, "Wanted, 1925 Paige fire truck, $25,000, if in mint condition," and Johnny says that it is exactly what the ad submitter wants. The "it" being Roy and Johnny's refurbished fire truck. The problem is that in 3x2, "The Old Engine," when Johnny and Roy are telling Chet and Marco about their purchase, Johnny says that it's a 1932 Dennis, and when they're looking it over, the blue "Dennis" emblem is attached to the hood of the engine.

The Old Engine Cram - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: While Roy and John are still aboard the Coast Guard helicopter during the cliff rescue at Catalina Island, when the chopper's on scene, in the overhead shot from inside the chopper, we can see where the victim is lying on the rocks, however, in the next shot from ground level, the victim is now lying on the other side of the jutting rock.

The Old Engine Cram - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: When Squad 51 arrives at the training center, Johnny's turnout coat is open and we see that he's only wearing an undershirt, but when it's 18's turn at the sulfur trioxide, as Johnny's putting on his air mask he's wearing the blue uniform shirt under his turnout.

The Old Engine Cram - S5-E2

Deliberate mistake: When Johnny and Roy are on the Coast Guard copter, responding to 'victim down at cliffs at Catalina Island', there are four closeups of the guys looking out the windows which are flipped shots - note their uniforms are backwards, the paramedic patches are on their right sleeves instead of their left.

Breakdown - S6-E15

Charlie: I think you guys are playing games with me, and I don't like it.
Roy: Now, wait a minute. We're not playing games. We don't play games with the equipment...
Captain Stanley: Wait, hold on. C'mon everybody, look we're all on the same side here, aren't we?
Charlie: I wonder.
Captain Stanley: Charlie, why can't we put the squad in the shop and have us a reserve vehicle here?
Charlie: No, no, Hank. Not until I'm 100% sure that I can't fix it. If there's anything wrong with it. This coffee stinks. [Leaves the room.]
Captain Stanley: You guys playing some kind of joke on him?
John: We didn't make the coffee!
Captain Stanley: Not the coffee, you twit, the squad.
Roy: Cap, there's something wrong with that squad out there.
Captain Stanley: [sigh.] All right, if you say so... I made the coffee.

More trivia for Emergency!

Show generally

Question: In quite a few episodes of Emergency there is a character that the doctors and other nurses call Nurse Carol. She is the older nurse with dark hair. I would say she is on at least a fourth of all episodes in all seasons yet I can not see this actress getting credited or listed as uncredited anywhere. I wonder if she was an actual nurse. Does any one know who she was. Yes there also were a couple of other actresses who played a nurse named Carol on one or two episodes and they are listed in the episode guides. She also is the patient with her arm in the cast talking to Dr. Morton in the episode 6:18 Firehouse Quintet.

Answer: On IMDB, actress Anne Schedeen is listed as playing Nurse Carol on six episodes from 1974-76.
