Continuity mistake: When Gil's in the basket ride at the amusement park, while Captain Stanley swings the line that Johnny's hanging on, in the closeups the open cage door is facing Johnny, but in the long shot looking up the basket's open door is on the opposite side, and Johnny would not have been able to enter it as easily.

Continuity mistake: When Roy walks into the ER with the chemical burn patient they rescued from a kitchen filled with hydrogen sulfide, Dixie tells them treatment 1 which has a windowless door, but in the shot from inside the room the door has a window, and we can tell it's treatment 3 they're in.

Continuity mistake: After Brackett and Johnny try to convince Gil that he's not responsible for the MI patient's death, when Johnny walks out of the treatment room he says he's going to check on Roy, and as he opens the door we can tell that he's in the room across from the nurses' station. Then when he and Roy leave the treatment room where Early had examined Roy, we can see that it's the very same treatment room that Johnny had just been in with Brackett.

Continuity mistake: After Gil and Johnny have lowered the man from the amusement park ride, Gil, who's wearing the backpack, rappels down first and reaches the ground. Then when Johnny hooks in and rappels down, there's a shot of what is supposed to be Johnny rappelling down, but it's actually a shot of Gil, because it was Gil who was wearing the backpack.

Smoke Eater - S4-E16

Continuity mistake: After Dr. Early is called a miracle worker and then again tries unsuccessfully to get the apple from the machine, it cuts to Squad 51 pulling backwards into the apparatus bay, and the engine we see parked in the bay is the Crown from the first two seasons, not their current Ward LaFrance.

Audio problem: While Roy and John are with the asthmatic boy, Roy's on the Biophone with Rampart, and we hear Early say, "Administer 0.3 milligrams epinephrin IM," but his mouth is not in sync with the last part, and it looks like he actually said, "Epinephrin IV."

Breakdown - S6-E15

Charlie: I think you guys are playing games with me, and I don't like it.
Roy: Now, wait a minute. We're not playing games. We don't play games with the equipment...
Captain Stanley: Wait, hold on. C'mon everybody, look we're all on the same side here, aren't we?
Charlie: I wonder.
Captain Stanley: Charlie, why can't we put the squad in the shop and have us a reserve vehicle here?
Charlie: No, no, Hank. Not until I'm 100% sure that I can't fix it. If there's anything wrong with it. This coffee stinks. [Leaves the room.]
Captain Stanley: You guys playing some kind of joke on him?
John: We didn't make the coffee!
Captain Stanley: Not the coffee, you twit, the squad.
Roy: Cap, there's something wrong with that squad out there.
Captain Stanley: [sigh.] All right, if you say so... I made the coffee.

More quotes from Emergency!

Limelight - S6-E24

Trivia: Keep your eyes peeled for the big sheepdog who runs right into the patio door in the background, when Roy and Johnny are with the sitter who's hyperventilating, due to three very obnoxious boys she's been babysitting, and then the look on Johnny's face as he tries not to break character when he turns to Roy and says "Dumb dog." Also, a few moments later you'll see Roy and his imaginary watch. Absolutely priceless.

The Mouse - S4-E20

Question: The old man that comes in with his wife that can't breathe, the one that the head nurse tries to counsel and tempts him with a cup of coffee. I believe he is Alfred Hitchcock, though his name is not listed anywhere. Alfred Hitchcock is known for his cameo appearances in his own shows and in other shows. Can someone confirm that this is him? This is driving me nuts... It is toward the end of the episode, but I cannot give you times.

Answer: I believe you are speaking of the old man, Mr. Wilson. He's played by J. Pat O'Malley.

Bishop73

Correct, it was J. Pat O'Malley...he also played the grandfather with his grandson when their rocket exploded, and also played "Old Bill" in the episode with Ann Prentiss, where Gage saves the little girl from the burning tree house, and her mother falls in love with him.
