The Trial and Error of Aunt Clara - S3-E21
Continuity mistake: When Samantha opens the door, you can see the 3 pictures by the door. The middle picture is straight. When the camera cuts to Samantha and Aunt Clara and returns to Larry at the door, the middle picture is crooked... a necessary plot point to distract Larry from the desk in the stair case.
Continuity mistake: In Tabitha's room in an early scene, Tabitha for some reason is in her play pen in her bedroom rather than her crib as usual. Later, the crib is back when Darrin is securing her toys in the locked toy chest.
A Plague on Maurice and Samantha - S8-E9
Continuity mistake: Samantha's illness is contagious and passed to Maurice from a kiss; when Samantha kisses the apothecary, he should have lost his powers also.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Bertha (Later Aunt Hagatha) puts her cookie on her plate next to her cup. In the next shot it disappears.
A Nice Little Dinner Party - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: The train shown is pulled by four diesel locomotives, "A" unit leads with two "B" units sandwiched between a second "A" unit. When Mrs. Stevens pulls the emergency stop cord, which would not likely be on a long distance passenger train, the locomotive shown doing an emergency stop is a steam one. Not to mention that by the time of this episode steam engines were obsolete, and less likely to have been employed, especially in passenger service.
Continuity mistake: When Sam is looking for Darrin to tell him the good news, Aunt Clara walks into the living room holding the large book with its cloth bookmark hanging over the top front of the book (facing Sam), but in the next shot the bookmark has switched to hanging over the top back of the book (facing Clara). (00:13:40)
Continuity mistake: When Sam and Endora are talking in the foyer, the glass-paneled door at the end of the hallway is closed. When Darrin is seen in the study moments later fighting to get the chair in the closet, the door can be seen against the wall in the hallway, as it would be in the open position. When Darrin stumbles out of the study a moment later, the door is closed again.
Samantha Fights City Hall - S5-E9
Continuity mistake: After Samantha sees the statue talking to her, her expression goes from shocked to annoyed and back to shocked in consecutive shots. Also, her hair is over both shoulders in each of the "shocked" shots but over one shoulder in the "annoyed" shot. (00:24:30)
Red Light, Green Light - S1-E23
Continuity mistake: When Dave sees Darrin's ad for the community meeting, he suggests a couple of changes, one of them being to add a line saying "and bring your friends". But the ad was shown in close-up shortly before Dave's arrival, and there was already a line saying "Be sure and bring all your friends". (00:13:35)
Continuity mistake: The shaving cream smears on the mirror are different in the close-ups than they are on the wider shots. (00:04:25)
Endora Moves in For a Spell - S3-E6
Continuity mistake: When Samantha takes Tabatha from Uncle Arthur's arms after a walk, the baby is wearing a yellow sweater, but it is gone before Samantha puts her down in her playpen. (00:08:10)
Hansel and Gretel in Samanthaland - S8-E10
Continuity mistake: In 1-7 The Witches Are Out, Bertha (later Hagatha) is talking to Mary, and they say that Hansel and Gretel are 2 naughty children who go around eating the nice witch's house. In this episode, the witch is a "traditional" bad witch.
School Days, School Daze - S8-E23
Continuity mistake: After the teacher writes the equation on the board for Tabitha to solve, it keeps changing in appearance; the small loop at the bottom of the 3 comes and goes depending on the shot. (00:06:45)
Continuity mistake: Uncle Arthur telling Darrin that a charm that he is being given is going to protect him. However, his pistol has managed to go right through Darrin and into the wall in the background. Then, the next frame, the shots are on his pocket. (00:10:22 - 00:11:00)
Continuity mistake: At the statue, with the ocean in the background, the white fishing boat appears and disappears between shots.
Samantha's Hot Bed Warmer (2) - S7-E4
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Samantha's purse is on the couch. It is initially lying flat with handles up on the back of the couch. When the officers are let into the room, the purse position changes. It is now standing upright.
Salem, Here We Come (2) - S7-E2
Continuity mistake: The demerit rod disappears when Hepzibah is in the living room. The camera goes to a wide shot and then returns when Darrin gets his final demerits.
The Short, Happy Circuit of Aunt Clara - S3-E9
Continuity mistake: This episode features the disappearing piano that disappears in most episodes. Also, the wall where the piano is sometimes houses the bar, which is usually beside the stairs.
Continuity mistake: When Rodney is at the bottom of the stairs announcing phase 1 of operation breakup is a success, Samantha is at the top of the stairs. The camera edit is really bad and Samantha jumps forward about 3 feet.
I Get Your Nanny, You Get My Goat - S4-E15
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Tabitha's drum stick is big then small and later, when Elspith enters, the food changes/disappears.
Answer: Telstar was an early communications satellite system. Darrin, in a particularly sexist manner reflective of this era, is saying that telling a secret to a woman means it is guaranteed to be "broadcasted" to multiple people.
