Continuity mistake: When Lorelai and Rory get home from the upsetting dinner from Richard attacking Dean, while sitting at the table one shot shows the Twinkies arranged on the plate in front of Rory on the table. In a few other shots, you see a few twinkies missing and not arranged.
Continuity mistake: Luke is at a table talking to Miss Patty while Lorelai stares out the window at Rory and Lane. Except behind Lorelai you can see Luke at the register alone, even though his voice is still heard talking to Miss Patty.
Continuity mistake: Lorelai and Luke are talking in the storage room. The turkey gravy behind Luke keeps rearranging itself.
Norman Mailer, I'm Pregnant! - S5-E6
Continuity mistake: Sookie is telling Norman about the menu - twice during this conversation the same inn worker walks into the scene behind her with a duster in his hand.
Continuity mistake: After the opening credits, Lorelai is watching TV in the kitchen. After she picks up the remote control, the camera angle changes and the TV is gone. It then reappears when Lorelai is standing by the stove. (00:02:35)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Lorelai can't get in the front door because Luke has installed a chain lock. Near the end of the episode, when Rory returns home and Lorelai rushes out the front door, there is no chain lock present on the door.
Like Mother, Like Daughter - S2-E7
Visible crew/equipment: After the Mrs. Backward baseball cap line Lorelai goes to leave. Luke says "and by the way" and there is a camera part showing in the top left corner. (00:42:15)

Continuity mistake: Lorelai is on the phone with Emily talking about shopping. The apple she is eating changes places with each shot.
The Lorelais' First Day at Chilton - S1-E2
Visible crew/equipment: Right before Miss Patty asks Lorelai if that was what she wore at the Chilton, there is a boom mic's pole showing at the top right corner while she is speaking to the dance class. (00:17:10)
It Should've Been Lorelai - S2-E14
Continuity mistake: While Lorelai and Christopher are talking at the table at Luke's, a blue coffee mug appears only in one shot but not the rest of the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Lorelai puts her book bag on the table there's an economics book showing and in the next shot it is gone.
Nick & Nora/Sid & Nancy - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: When Rory interviews Max, in each shot the pens on his desk in the cup keep rearranging.
Visible crew/equipment: When Rory comes out during the party to meet Dean, he says, "I don't belong here, not anymore, do I?" then as he says, "You look good," a boom mic drops over his head. (00:39:20)

Revealing mistake: Rory and Lorelai stop looking for a place to carve their initials on the Chilton steps because they hear someone coming. A man walks by and his footsteps stop so they continue, but when the screen goes back to Lorelai you can see the man hiding in the plant behind her on the right.
The Bracebridge Dinner - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: When Rory is checking in Lane and Mrs Kim, twice in a row it shows her close her folder and hold it at her side and in the next shot it is still open.
Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days - S3-E1
Continuity mistake: In the first shot you can see Rory's laptop open in the background, but when she walks over to her desk and sits down, it's closed. (00:02:15 - 00:04:45)
We Got Us a Pippi Virgin - S5-E5
Continuity mistake: When they are starting Pippi and Luke is asking about her hair, you can see Dean's hand on Rory's shoulder on the side of the shot. Then it pans to them and then Dean is putting his arm around Rory.
Continuity mistake: In this episode, when Logan goes to see Lorelai to ask her permission to propose to Rory, Lorelai asks Logan if he wants any french fries. They sit down and the to-go container is open, when the camera zooms in and then back out it's closed again.
Chosen answer: Lorelai and Christopher get married impulsively in Paris but they get divorced shortly after returning home. I don't know the exact number of days or weeks but they definitely weren't married for more than a couple of months.
