Visible crew/equipment: When Dewey yells for Lois because the bow was put on the present, if you look to the left of Lois, you will see a crewmember kneeling down, handing Lois the red dress, who is holding a bucket of water. He quickly gets out of the camera's view. [This is on the DVD of the first season. Someone said on the audio commentary that after catching it, they deliberately left it in to see if anyone would spot it. It's still a mistake, but that's why it's there.]
Factual error: In a number of episodes people are shown eating and drinking in the laboratories. For instance, in "Miss Willows' Regrets" Nick and Greg are seen eating fried chicken in the lab, and in "Overload" Sara eats a sandwich while watching Grissom experiment with her deli pickle. There are other examples. No reputable laboratory (which this is supposed to be) would allow its staff to eat or drink while in the lab. It is basic scientific protocol to prevent contamination of samples or the person picking up toxins on their food.
Continuity mistake: This mistake really applies to two episodes in season 1. In The Bracelet, Larry is approached by a homeless man who thanks him for the Chicken L'Orange. As a result of this (and his unkempt appearance), the women at the jewelry store will not buzz him into the store. The mistake is that Larry doesn't give this man the Chicken L'Orange until the 7th episode, AAMCO. And it is not just that the episodes aired out of order. Because in the episodes between these two, there are references that show that this IS the correct order of this season. So this becomes a circular reference that can't possibly exist.
Continuity mistake: Simon Pegg's character shouts at Manny as he is picking up a muffin, and he slams it onto the desk, smashing it and making a large messy pile of crumbs. The shot changes, then changes back so you can see the muffin (in the same scene) and it is a perfectly formed, whole muffin with no crumbs around. Then when Fran shows up and Pegg's character leaves, the muffin is back to being a messy mound.Gary O'Reilly
Revealing mistake: When Logan goes looking for Max at Jam Pony, as he starts talking to Normal there is a woman in a blue jacket with a black-and-yellow bike helmet walking behind him. She travels past the group and can be seen heading for the lockers behind OC and Sketchy. After Normal says, "I can't help you," the same woman walks behind Logan again, going the same direction. Continuity mistake: The establishing shot of the Agency's headquarters building zooms in on 3 tall, narrow windows recessed into a brick wall. We then cut to an interior view - of several wide, continuous windows without any recesses. They don't match the exterior windows at all. (00:07:30)Jean G
Continuity mistake: When Shake, Frylock, and Meat Wad return from Memphis, they notice the door of their house has been ripped out and knocked onto the yard (Meat Wad even makes a comment about it). But as they walk inside to Mothmonsterman, the door is back on the hinges were it should be.Dandude776
Revealing mistake: When Dylan and Tyr head to a bridge where supposedly the power source is located as well as Rommie, they start to cross the bridge. As the camera is facing Dylan and Tyr, the next scene two aliens teleport in. Rewind the video to facing Dylan and Tyr and play in slow motion. Watch the bottom portion of the screen and notice the top portion of one of the alien's head go into the camera as if the aliens walked into position for the teleportation.Joseph Z
Continuity mistake: In "The Owner's Suite series," when Tom Warner is talking to Gray Davis about which drink was his, and which belongs to Mr. Davis, Tom takes the straw out of the glass, blows in it, and lays it on the counter. In the next shot the straw is back in the glass.Ian Mugford
Other mistake: If you look on Disk Three, in the Features section, select "Behind the Tunes", you'll see three titles: "Too fast, too furry-ous", "Blanc Expressions", and "Merrie Melodies: Carl Stalling and Cartoon Misic". Misic? Just to be sure I unloaded the DVD player software and rebooted. Nope, still there. How did THAT get past quality control? Should be "music", in case you're wondering.Kevin Provance
