Continuity mistake: When Lorelai calls Chris to tell him about Rory's debut, she writes his new number on a gum wrapper. The shot changes to Rory. When it cuts to Lorelai again, she is reading the number from a notebook.

Continuity mistake: When Rory and Lorelai are testing cakes for the wedding at Fran's bakery, Rory is seen taking pieces out of the raspberry cake several times. However when the angle changes you can see that the cake is whole as if none of it had been eaten. (00:00:45)

Continuity mistake: When Luke offers Lorelai coffee, Luke grabs two paper hot cups, but the camera angle shifts and he is holding only one cup, then the angle shifts again and he is back to having two cups while he proceeds to pour the coffee. (00:38:10)

Continuity mistake: When Lorelai sits down with Dean to discuss how "clingy" he is with Rory, both Lorelai and Dean's hand positions change between shots, specifically whether their fingers are laced, resting normally on the table or raised in the air.

Visible crew/equipment: At one point during Lorelai's argument with Richard at the end of the episode, a boom mic is visible above Lorelai's head. (00:40:25)

Audio problem: When Rory comes home alone and listens to her mom's message, she picks up the toy rabbi and its music plays, then the music stops when Rory's in the kitchen. When Rory answers the phone we hear the music start again, meaning someone picked the toy up. (00:27:10)

Continuity mistake: When Richard enters to announce Rory being in the top 3% in her class his handkerchief is shown with 1 point. When he then walks to pour a drink and turns around, it has 2 points showing.

Other mistake: When Lorelai asks her mother which veil she should choose for her upcoming wedding to Max, Emily responds that her head is too big for a veil, and she could consider a tiara. When Lorelai responds quizzically with 'umm a tiara?' Emily says 'that's what I wore'. However, in s1e8, the photo album Rory looks through with her Grandparents features a picture of Emily and Richard that Emily calls their 'wedding photo' (in which she is pictured wearing a veil, not a tiara). Continuity mistake: When Chris offered to make coffee, and he goes to the water stand, you can see there is already water in the coffee pot.
Lorelai's Graduation Day - S2-E21
Continuity mistake: When Rory visits Jess she has a cast on her left arm from the car accident, but while Rory's on the bus returning from her trip the cast has vanished, then the cast reappears when Lorelai gets home after graduation. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: When Rory and Jess go for the ice cream run the rear-view mirror is missing, but when Rory tells Jess to turn right the rear-view mirror is attached to the windshield in the exterior shot. (00:25:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Luke brings over the box of brownies for Lorelai he walks in and the front door is closed, then as they both walk away we can see the reflection of the boom pole moving on the door's glass. (00:13:25)
Back in the Saddle Again - S2-E18
Visible crew/equipment: When Rory and her classmates arrive at Richard and Emily's house Paris opens the door, and just as they reach the dining room, the two boom mics are visible at the top of the screen. Also note the huge crystal chandelier is conspicuously missing. (00:25:35)
Visible crew/equipment: At the end, when Luke walks into his apartment and passes Jess to get to the closet, we can see the reflection of the camera operator's legs in the bathroom wall mirror. (00:40:35)
The Bracebridge Dinner - S2-E10
Visible crew/equipment: During Friday night dinner, when they're discussing Emily and Richard's travel plans and then Richard's mood, in the wideshots from behind Emily lighting equipment is visible at the left side of the screen. (00:07:00)
Chosen answer: Lorelai and Christopher get married impulsively in Paris but they get divorced shortly after returning home. I don't know the exact number of days or weeks but they definitely weren't married for more than a couple of months.
