Gilmore Girls

Show generally

Plot hole: In the episode when Jess arrives at Luke's, Luke explains to Lorelai that Jess' father walked out on his family two years ago. Jess is 17 at that point, which would make him 15 when his father left. In the episode where the father comes to see him, Luke asks him why he left when Jess was just a baby in diapers, and indicates that he hasn't seen him since.

The Reigning Lorelai - S4-E16

Plot hole: When Emily is dialing a number for Manny Martelli, to make arrangements for the funeral, she only dials two digits. She just got the number from someone else, so there's no way it was speed-dial.

It's Just Like Riding a Bike - S7-E19

Plot hole: The dog, Paul Anka, uses the porch steps without a blanket over them. In an earlier episode, Lorelai states that he's afraid of the porch steps when Babette tries to walk him. (00:32:50)

Mistakes

In the scene where Lorelei and Rory are sitting at a table, with Rory looking at herself in a mirror, they talk about Rory's hair. Right after this, Rory asks, "do you want something to drink?" Her mouth doesn't move at all.

Trivia

In some episodes, Rory speaks Spanish (e.g when she is talking to her grandmother's maid). She speaks very poorly, typical "school-Spanish". This is just acting; Spanish is actually Alexis Bledel's first language. Her mother is from Mexico and her father is from Argentina.
