Continuity mistake: When Peter walks into the dry cleaners the door sensors go off, and as Peter leans down to wave his hand in front of a sensor, all the buttons on his shirt switch to the opposite side, then revert back. (00:02:15)
Brian's Got a Brand New Bag - S8-E4
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode, Brian walks in with Rita's soup. Notice there are no pill bottles on her nightstand. As soon as he sits the soup down, 3 bottles appear out of nowhere. Then, after Brian gives her the pills, the bottles disappear again. (00:03:02 - 00:03:28)
'Family Guy' Through the Years - S16-E16
Factual error: In the scene at the Disco, Peter and Quagmire both transpose "Viet Cong" but with "Donkey Kong." However, the segment is supposed to be taking place in 1973, meanwhile "Donkey Kong" wasn't released until 1981.
Other mistake: Joe salutes Quagmire's Dad. His legs are paralyzed, yet he uses them to push himself backward in his wheelchair.
Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q - S10-E3
Other mistake: This episode is the only one in the entire series where there's a peephole in the door.
The New Adventures of Old Tom - S14-E18
Continuity mistake: Peter goes to the roof where Tom is debating jumping. He has orange fingers because he ate a Doritos taco. He licks two fingers but next shot shows them all clean.
Factual error: As soon as Lois and Peter board the ship it starts moving. This does not happen in reality.
Continuity mistake: In the Clam when Brian says about he knows what's going on, Quagmire disappears from behind his drink on the table. (00:10:00)
Valentine's Day in Quahog - S11-E12
Continuity mistake: Just as Meg's date is about to leave the motel, the level of ice in the bath changes. Note its position in relation to Meg's Scar. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: The colour of the ropes tying the ladders together changes from white to yellow. (00:11:00)
Factual error: There's no way for the Griffins to climb clear to the top of Mt Everest. It takes months to prepare for that and oxygen tanks. This episode is one whole factual error. That and it costs 30 grand or more per person.
Factual error: Quagmire spikes Brooks drink. She takes a drink and immediately passes out. The pill didn't even dissolve let alone get in her system long enough for her to pass out.
A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas - S3-E16
Continuity mistake: When Brian is in the kitchen with the oven fire and an empty fire extinguisher, the side door behind Brian has its door handle on the right side, but when the family returns and Lois opens that door, the handle is on the left side of the door.
A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas - S3-E16
Factual error: Brian touches the oven handle and gets burned. Not possible. Oven door handles do not get hot.
A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas - S3-E16
Factual error: A turkey does not burn and smoke 30 seconds after the oven timer goes off.
Petergeist - S4-E26
Continuity mistake: When the spirits first come out of the TV, notice the wall beside the TV. There's nothing there. Brian says who's here? Next shot shows a filing cabinet with a pink blanket on top.
Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
