Octopussy (1983)

Factual error: Udaipur where the floating palace is located is 350km from Agra, so Bond wouldn't be passing Taj Mahal upon landing in the helicopter.

Octopussy (1983)

Continuity mistake: Octopussy is standing next to her bed when Bond comes to kiss her. They kiss. In the next shot when they lay down on the bed they are inside the golden 'legs' of the bed. But they didn't move sideways and definitely did not step over the leg. (01:12:15)

Octopussy (1983)

Continuity mistake: Just before the clown hits the embassy window the lighting changes significantly between shots. There are some strange reflections when he hits the glass, which were not there a millisecond before. (00:12:30)

Octopussy (1983)

Continuity mistake: When Bond passes under the Autobahn bridge you can see the traffic is very slow. But seconds before - when Bond's car left the Autobahn, there was no traffic congestion. (01:45:15)

Octopussy (1983)

Continuity mistake: When we see Q fishing, the lighting is totally different from when he's seen from the back in the next clip. Also the bank rises close behind him when seen from the front, but in the next clip the camera position is further back. Those are not shot in the same place. (01:09:30)

Octopussy (1983)

Octopussy mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Bond takes off in the plane, we see - in one shot from Bond's view - the Cubans approaching. The background is a flat (English) countryside. In the next clip, we see a close-up of one of the Cubans. behind him are quite large hills/mountains. (00:04:55)

Goldfinger (1964)

Continuity mistake: In the scene in Miami, when Goldfinger comes down the stairs, you can see on the shadows cast by the other persons that the scene is shot in the studio. All the persons walking around cast multiple shadows from floodlights and not just one from the sun.

Goldfinger (1964)

Continuity mistake: After Bond leaves Fort Knox we see the crew of his plane lying tied up and struggling inside the hangar. A few clips later we see them again - this time unconscious.

Goldfinger (1964)

Continuity mistake: When entering Fort Knox we see the laser cutting from left to right across the metal door, which is subsequently pulled out. But when we see the door from the inside, it looks as if the laser has cut also both sides. There was no time for that - and we do not see the laser make such movements as going up or down.

Goldfinger (1964)

Continuity mistake: In the teaser, when Bond has come out of the water and climbed up the cliff, right after he kicks the guard he is seen running away. In that frame you can see he is wearing leather shoes with light brown leather soles - which are completely dry. He was not wearing those in the water.

Goldfinger (1964)

Continuity mistake: The suit Bond is wearing in the teaser - after he comes out of the water - is not a wetsuit, but some sort of nylon suit. The clip of him climbing out of the water is very short, but you can tell its not the same suit.

National Security (2003)

Continuity mistake: In the shoot-out scene with the white van, all the bullet holes are perfectly round when seen up close. But since the shots are fired in lots of different directions and not in a straight angle to the surface, most should be elongated. (01:14:45)

Evan Almighty (2007)

Factual error: The Ark ends up below the stairs of the Capitol, but seconds before it sets right outside the window of the committee meeting room. Those are not below the stairs.

Evan Almighty (2007)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Evan's beard keeps coming back, the shaving foam on the rest of his face - which should be unchanged - changes between shots when he looks down, and then up again and sees the new beard.

Evan Almighty (2007)

Factual error: In the final scene where Congress is supposedly passing the bill, they are still in the committee room. Bills are not passed there, but in the actual meeting halls of the House and the Senate.

Factual error: The ship on which Tom sails from Venice to Athens is shown from above at sunset. The sun is to the front left of the ship. That means that the ship must have been sailing West, which is hard (and weird) to do on that route.

Twelve Monkeys (1995)

Other mistake: When Catherine is seen from a distance spray painting the wall, she is holding the spray can about 20-30 cm from the wall. But that is way too far to make letters. The paint will be disbursed over a wider area, and not make precise lines.
