Twelve Monkeys (1995)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cole is restrained in the bed with the comforter with teddy bears on, the position of the comforter changes between shots. He raises his head and that makes a crease in the comforter. In the next shot the comforter is straight again.

Twelve Monkeys (1995)

Factual error: The bullet removed from Cole's leg is totally undamaged. Even a full metal jacket bullet will be squashed when it hits a person's leg (and stops inside the leg).

Amadeus (1984)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Salieri is helping Mozart with the requiem the candles change appearance - and not just downwards because they burn.

Other mistake: Where does the fire in the gas pipes come from? Even though a lot of gas - and thereby pressure - is directed towards the power station, why do they blow up under ground far away from the power station?

Die Hard 2 (1990)

Factual error: When the 747 explodes, fire is rushing up through the cargo hold. Esperanza - in the cockpit - looks back over his shoulder as if seeing the fire coming. Clearly he can't see the fire - since the view we are seeing is inside the cargo hold and cabin. But why is he then turning his head and looking back against the cockpit wall? And the flash we see on his face - from the explosion - that would not be there until the fire was inside the cockpit. And that would go so fast that he wouldn't have time to scream. (01:50:35)

Continuity mistake: During the final truck chase through Baltimore, several traffic lights are seen with lights in them. But all the power was off.

Jacob La Cour

Continuity mistake: In one scene we see the map of the power grid of Eastern Sector shutting down. All sectors are red. A few scenes later we are in Warlock's basement. He has the same map on one of his screens, but there some sectors are red and some are green.

Audio problem: Why does the whole city make a 'whooom' noise when the power turns off? And each block makes exactly the same sound.

Continuity mistake: McClane's head wounds move around throughout the movie. Especially the two red spots on the left side of his head change colour a lot.

Amadeus (1984)

Continuity mistake: When Salieri has brought Mozart to bed and they are talking, Salieri is holding the candlestick. In the different views - from Mozart's and Salieri's - it can be seen that the angle he holds the candles changes. The line between the candles changesi. So Saleri held the candlestick in another angle the second time the scene was shot.

Amadeus (1984)

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when Salieri's servants offer him ice cream and cakes, the choppy servant gets ice cream on his nose. When seen from behind there is more ice on his nose than when seen from the front.

Die Hard 2 (1990)

Factual error: Several runway numbers are mentioned in the movie: runway 10, 15, 25 right and 25 left. Runway 25 means course 250. The opposite end would then be Runway 7 (course 70). It would be unusual for an airport to have runways running course 70, 100 and 150, as that is way too close. And Dulles certainly does not. In the church occupied by the terrorists, the radar display (the upright one with the circular LED pattern, not a scope) shows the runway configuration of Las Vegas McCarran airport, not that of Washington Dulles airport. McCarran does have runways 25R and 25L, which are mentioned in the film.

Grindhouse (2007)

Continuity mistake: During the car chase in Death Proof you frequently see that the bumps and scratches on the sides of the white car change (and disappear) so it is obvious that they are using several different cars during the scene.

Die Hard 2 (1990)

Factual error: When we see pictures from the cockpit of the planes we can see the individual snowflakes. That is impossible with the speed an airplane is flying.

Sleepers (1996)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the boys are ordered to eat of the floor, before they go down the food is very spread out. But once they are down and picking from the food it is in much bigger piles.

Collateral (2004)

Continuity mistake: When the police are examining the place on the ground where the first victim fell, there is lots of glass from the broken window - and it's close together. That glass is not there in previous shots - for example when they look down from the window.

Collateral (2004)

Continuity mistake: In the scene after Max visits Felix - when they drive away - the tape holding the taxi sign on the top of the taxi changes. The top piece of tape is gone in one of the shots, and then it comes back.

Charlie's Angels (2000)

Continuity mistake: In the last scene with the tugboat you can see the wake starting a few hundred meters behind the boat, even though it is supposed to have been sailing for a while.

Jacob La Cour

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sarah is hanging from the roof surrounded by 'raptors, the position of the roof tiles she's holding on to change between shots. (01:33:35)
