Revealing mistake: In the sleigh scene in Cortina, the closeups are recorded in a studio. The view of the background fits very poorly with the surroundings in the intermittent wide shots, which shows buildings close by, while the background just before showed a wide valley view.

The Tourist (2010)
Revealing mistake: The scene where Frank is chased across the roof tops is shot indoors. First, the light and shadows are very bright - but in the outdoors scenes it is cloudy, and there are no clear shadows. Second, the shadows show almost horizontal lighting - a position the sun does not have in Venice in late morning.

Red 2 (2013)
Revealing mistake: When Han shoots at Bruce Willis and the others with the Gatling gun, we see cartridges on the ground. You can tell that they are all blanks. The tip is jagged and has been closed - live ammo just has an open hole where the bullet was.

Troy (2004)
Revealing mistake: When we fly over the beach and see all the ships with the arriving troops, some running ashore, the CGI men look like they're running on the water's surface rather than through it, as they're making no splashes.

Pacific Rim (2013)
Revealing mistake: In one of the first scenes, one of the characters is standing with an umbrella close to a landing helicopter - without the umbrella being the least affected by the wind.

From Russia With Love (1963)
Revealing mistake: When Bond and Kerim are sailing in the underground reservoir, just before they arrive at the Russian Consulate, there is a closeup of the oar moving through the water. At the bottom of the screen there is a white object moving through the water. It is not clear what it is, but it is not there in any of the other shots of the boat - neither before nor after. It could be the leg of a crew member pushing the boat. (00:33:50)

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009)
Revealing mistake: In the scenes at the base on the surface of the ice, the breath of the actors is visibly CGI and not natural. (01:13:30)

Striking Distance (1993)
Revealing mistake: In the scene in the beginning where Jimmy is about to jump from the bridge, he is holding the cables holding the bridge up, which move and flex from his weight. Cables on suspension bridges are extremely tight from the weight and do not move at all if a person pulls them.

The World is Not Enough (1999)
Revealing mistake: When Bond escapes the Swiss bank through the window with the very large suitcase supposedly full of money (paper), he swings it around like it's empty (which it probably was).

Never Say Never Again (1983)
Revealing mistake: In the shot of the US submarine from below, the waves above move too fast and it is clear that they are little ripples on the water above a small model boat.

Some Like It Hot (1959)
Revealing mistake: When Joe and Gerald escape down the balconies you can see that the view of the ocean is painted, specifically the waves don't move.

Prison Break (2005)
Revealing mistake: In the episode where Scofield, Sucre and T-Bag are driving in Panama, the trees in the background have no leaves - like Autumn/Winter in the US. And even though there of course are trees in Panama which shed their leaves, there is no time of year when all trees are leafless - like in the temperate zones. That shot was definitely not filmed in Panama.

The Living Daylights (1987)
Revealing mistake: Saunders is not in the door-way when the bomb launching the glass door goes off. He actually jumps forward to get there in time to get caught.

Thunderball (1965)
Revealing mistake: When Largo escapes to Disco Volante, he closes the underwater hatch before Bond arrives. But the hatch can't close completely. A hole is visible (and light from behind). The hatch is obviously created in a studio, because the boat would not be able to sail - at least not that fast - with such an opening in the bottom.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
Revealing mistake: You can see it's a stuntman and not the Zack actor rolling over the buffet at the Harrow's Club.

Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
Revealing mistake: The fingerprint in Tiffany's photograph is 100% identical to the sample of Peter Franks in her system. It is impossible for two fingerprints to be exactly identical - in terms of the part of the finger it shows and the amount of paint on the print.

Mission: Impossible 3 (2006)
Revealing mistake: In the helicopter chase Ethan and Lindsey (and the defibrillator) are just sitting on the floor of the helicopter while it is doing very radical moves. They would have been thrown around.

You Only Live Twice (1967)
Revealing mistake: When Tanaka's train starts moving neither Bond, Tanaka nor the girl is seen to feel the acceleration. They stand/walk perfectly steady. That is impossible in an accelerating train. It is clear that it's only the lights moving on the wall.

You Only Live Twice (1967)
Revealing mistake: When one of the ninjas places an explosive charge on the bottom of the fake crater lake roof it wobbles and can be seen its made of plastic - even though Bond earlier said it was metal.

The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
Revealing mistake: When Jaws comes to the surface and starts swimming, you can see the sandy bottom of the water. There is not the 300 feet (or meters) that the depth gauge on the rescue pod shows.
