Continuity mistake: When they are driving the pickup truck to the pumps, the sky is pitch black. However when they get on the dirt path - for one scene the sky is lighter as if it was dusk in the early eve, only to go back to pitch black when they reach the pump.

Continuity mistake: When Ben is squatting in front of the TV and they are watching the broadcast, he has a gun laying in his lap with his hand not holding it. In the next shot, he's now instantly holding the gun and it's no longer laying in his lap.

Continuity mistake: During the scene at the club where the zombies are used as entertainment, someone sprays the checkered shirt zombie with red paint around his mouth. However, in the next shot from a distance, the spray paint is gone.

Continuity mistake: Lamar's javelin that he's seen running with is flexible in the middle and not very rigid, however when the shot after he throws it, we see a solid normal javelin going through the air and visibly a different one altogether. (01:06:30)

Continuity mistake: When Gilbert is handed the mic to talk at the pep rally at the end, his left shoulder is covered with grass and dirt from being thrown on the ground. However when the camera shot shows him first talking to the crowd, all the dirt and grass is significantly less and even completely disappears once Betty and the rest of the nerds come up to join them. Continuity mistake: The box of chocolate in front of Scotty keeps moves closer and farther away from him from shot to shot.

Revealing mistake: When Harry trips on the fan string throwing feathers all over him, the fan sound is heard running but there's no air blowing at him as the feathers are falling around him undisturbed. A few shots later, we see the fan on and blowing feathers around the room which is what it should have been doing.

Continuity mistake: When we first arrive at the club in 1975, the 3 women are singing on stage. The woman's mic stand on the right has the wires all neatly hidden however when we have the shot from behind the stage the wire on her mic he hanging off freely to the side.

Revealing mistake: When Harry is lying on the bed at the end - you can see he's not wearing a bullet proof vest as the extra bulk they cause is not visible on his torso. However once he's shot, the bulk is visible under his shirt for the remainder of the scene.

Revealing mistake: When Kevin lands in the treehouse, he's at the back with his feet through the wall. Given where the rope is tied to the tree, he would have hit into the tree or the door frame of the treehouse, not at the back wall.

Continuity mistake: When they are behind the Hollywood sign in the beginning of the movie, Number 2's Starbucks cup logo on the holder keeps facing different directions from shot to shot even though he's not touching it.

Revealing mistake: When Austin is looking at the 3 sailors who were to guard his father, there is only 1 golden source of light seen reflected in his glasses, not 3 as there should be.

Audio problem: The carts the guards are chasing Pee-Wee in are electric, which we see when they first get to them and have to unplug them. However throughout the entire chase scene we distinctly hear gas engine sounds. (01:12:30)
