Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Continuity mistake: Throughout the film there are a number of obvious jump cuts which create glaring continuity errors. For example, when Hawk and Ranulf enter into the mystical gateway in the forest and then suddenly disappear (as they are supposed to have entered a separate dimension), the fog behind the gate suddenly changes pattern as they disappear, betraying the use of a jump cut.

Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Continuity mistake: When Hawk and Ranulf are about to enter the gateway in the forest, Hawk raises the "mind sword" which lights up bright green. Then cut to a shot from behind and Hawk still has the sword raised in the air but there is no longer any green light illuminating the forest. (00:29:12)

Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Continuity mistake: When the two bandits are having a competition throwing axes at Ranulf, from shot to shot, the positions of the axes stuck in the tree next to his head are noticeably a little different. (00:21:58)

The Prowler (1981)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when Pam returns to her dorm room she heads to the bathroom for the final surprise. When she walks towards the bathroom door you can see the door is only slightly ajar, however when the shot changes to inside the bathroom the door is now almost fully open (open enough to see Pam fully).

Coherence (2013)

Audio problem: When Mike returns from blackmailing the other house he is confronted by Kevin who asks him where he has been. At one point during Mike's explanation he says "I was gonna smash the window and take the book", however his mouth movements do not match this. (00:45:08)

Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Audio problem: When Ranulf is resting in bed and explaining the fate of his village to the nun there is a cut to a wide shot of the room and if you look at Ranulf you can see his mouth is not moving any more. Then, cut back to a close-up, and his mouth is now moving again. (00:08:52)

Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Continuity mistake: When Ranulf is in bed and explaining the fate of his village to the nun, in the close-up shot of them the nun is facing away from Ranulf but when the shot changes to a wide shot of the room she is now facing toward him and then back to the close-up shot, and she is facing away again. Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Revealing mistake: When Hawk is enchanting his fathers sword he holds the "mind stone" in the palm of his hand and you can see a wire attached to each side of the stone. A few seconds later and, of course, it "magically" lifts from his hand. (00:03:14)

Hawk the Slayer (1980)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Voltan arrives on horseback at his fathers castle, it is daylight. We are then shown an exterior shot of the castle itself and it is pitch black. Then, a minute or so later, we see Hawk arriving on horseback at the castle and it is daylight again.

Revealing mistake: After Sean is murdered by decapitation in the shack there are a number of close-up shots of Angela's deceased victims, and if you look closely you can see some of them are moving slightly. (01:04:26)

Jack Vaughan

Other mistake: When Angela starts up the chainsaw (to kill Judd with) we hear the sound of it starting but you can see it is not on. (00:35:54)

Jack Vaughan

Deliberate mistake: The photographs that Angela takes off the boys that show the girls naked obviously were not taken outside the cabin, they are far too clear. The fly netting and window would have obscured them. Also, judging by the position of the beds in the photographs it seems like they were taken inside the cabin. (00:32:02)

Continuity mistake: At the pool when Sean and Molly are lying on towels discussing their families there is a shot focused on Molly's face, and she says she has a big family and people refer to them as "The Brady Bunch." In this shot you can see a very distinct blond haired man in the pool behind her. The shot then changes to a wide shot showing both Sean and Molly again and the same distinct blond haired man is now behind them on the other side of the pool. (00:14:54)
