Other mistake: When we are first introduced to Leland Palmer and Benjamin Horne, they are discussing a contract in front of a large, lit fireplace. A couch (on which Leland is seated) is in front of the fireplace. Strangely, the flames of the fire are visible through the couch, and also Horne's legs are at one point. (00:11:09)

Other mistake: At one point in the film young L'il Dice massacres a hotel, killing numerous people. However, when he was given the revolver outside the hotel he was not given extra ammunition, meaning he only had the six bullets already in gun (assuming it was fully loaded). Given that he fired at least one shot into the glass window (to warn the gang) and some of the victims were shot a number of times, it seems clear he would not have had enough bullets to do this.

Other mistake: During the opening sequence there is a shot of a muddy river where we are shown the credits for Director of Photography, Camera, Sound, Film Editor etc. When "Camera" is credited there is a number 2 next to it, that is the order in which the credit appears, but none of the other credits are numbered. Other mistake: When Voltan murders the nun who betrays the group, there are a number of errors in quick succession. First, he appears to stab her in the arm, judging from the position of his body to hers when he stabs her. Second, there is no trace of blood on the dagger when he holds it up a second later. Third, her body seems to have disappeared (or at least moved) when the camera changes to a wider shot a second later. (01:15:19)

Other mistake: After the Demon Headmaster has been drenched in goo on the TV show Eddy Hair ends the show and there is a shot of the children shouting his catchphrase, in this shot you can see Eddy's cameraman crouched on the floor at the bottom of the stairs looking injured and holding his arm.
