Bad Lieutenant (1992)

Visible crew/equipment: After getting the $30,000 off the drug dealer LT is shown high and staggering around the dealer's apartment building. As he walks down the last flight of stairs you can see the camera's shadow fall across LT and the wall next to him. Also, at this point, a foot can be seen (possibly a crew member's) carefully moving out of the way on the floor above at the top left of the screen. (01:01:44)

Visible crew/equipment: During the torture and murder of Troy there is a moment when Jamie, unable to watch the violence, sits in the kitchen with accomplice Mark Haydon. Jamie and Mark sit in silence at the kitchen table and the film cuts between close-ups of them. In the two close-up's of Mark you can see the boom microphone reflected in the glass of the kitchen cabinet near his head. This happens twice and the microphone lingers both times. (01:15:29)

Trivia: When Wolff wakes up Chalmers from her sleep you can see a copy of a play called "R.U.R" lying on her chest. R.U.R is a science fiction play and it contained the first use of the word "robot." This is a clue as to Chalmers' origin. (00:07:32)

Near Dark (1987)

Stupidity: After Caleb escapes the vampire "family" with his father and sister, he undergoes a blood transfusion which cures his vampirism. As soon as this was done Caleb, his father and sister should have fled somewhere else immediately. The vampire "family" knew where he lived as they kidnapped him in front of his home. Instead, they stick around the home, with no obvious intention of leaving. Of course, the vampires track them down and kidnap Sarah.

Near Dark (1987)

Revealing mistake: When Caleb is running for the van (during the motel shootout) there is a dramatic moment when he is shot in the back and is in pain. As he goes to wrap the blanket around himself you can see an orange tube leading underneath his clothing above his pants. Presumably this tube is pumping the smoke to simulate burning. (00:59:44)

(00:14:34)
