Continuity mistake: When Bond grabs Stacey after the Zorin Airship blows up, you can see the fireaxe resting between them. The camera shot changes to one above them and the fireaxe has now gone. (02:01:00)

Thunderbirds (2004)
Other mistake: When TinTin goes head to head with The Hood, she makes the catwalk spin 90 degrees anticlockwise. Alan is now on top of the catwalk when in fact he should still be on the bottom of the catwalk but on the opposite side.

The Mummy (1999)
Continuity mistake: When Henderson gets killed by Imhotep in his hotel room, the shadow of his corpse being thrown shows it to be thrown quite a distance across the room, yet when Imhotep appears, and then walks off, Henderson's corpse is right by his feet. It was thrown much further than that.

Trivia: The opening scene really was filmed in one shot with no breaks in filming; they rehearsed and had a run-through five times to get it right.

Robocop 3 (1993)
Plot hole: The opaque red lined map that Otomo retrieves from his first fight is ridiculous. Why would people who know where the hidden base is be carrying around a map on them (which shows a route so basic that they'd have to be brain-dead not to be able to remember it anyway) just so that conveniently one of their enemies can get it?

The Shadow (1994)
Continuity mistake: When the the old Asian guy is about to draw a picture of an atomic bomb on his blackboard, he clears a small section at the top of the board, and you can see some diagrams uncleared in the centre of the board. Yet when the camera shows his picture, the diagrams in the centre have now magically disappeared.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
Trivia: When the bus crashes through the video rental store, one of the signs that are knocked over is for a movie called 'Tsunami Surprise'. There is no such movie. Almost other signage in the building is for movies that exist. Another exception is on the other side of the movie store's entrance - a movie poster for King Lear starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was commissioned from Drew Struzan, the legendary artist behind movie posters like Star Wars, by Spielberg as a bit of ribbing on Arnold and a reference to the fake movie Hamlet, part of Arnold's movie library in The Last Action Hero.

Deep Impact (1998)
Factual error: Many scenes showing the tidal wave approaching land and buildings is factually inaccurate. Its already stated that the tidal wave will be moving faster than the speed of sound, and reach a height of over 1000 ft by the time it hits land. That being the case, there would be a massive pressure wave of air in front of the tidal wave, that would clear a path long before the tidal wave hits. Buildings would start to topple and crumble before the water struck, and certainly people would not be able to stand in the path of the tidal wave, because the air pressure would blow them away.

Jurassic Park (1993)
Other mistake: When Timmy is climbing down the electric perimeter fence, Dr.Grant tells him to jump so he will catch him, it then cuts to another shot where Grant counts down and he isn't remotely anywhere near the fence. He couldn't possibly catch Timmy.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
Continuity mistake: When Charlie's grandad falls on him soon after getting news of his Golden Ticket win, one of the other old guys in the bed has a shocked look on his face. In the next shot however, the old guy now has his hand over his face and not enough time has passed for this to occur.

Transformers (2007)
Revealing mistake: A yellow Pontiac GTO gets shot up, then gets blown in half with the rear end landing inside a shop window. If you look at the sideskirt of the car before it gets destroyed, you can see the cut already in the sideskirt where it will split apart. (02:01:20)
24th Dec 2008
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
Continuity mistake: When ET is walking with Elliot and his brother trick-or-treating, we see several shots from ET's point of view of people walking toward him. In all of the following shots however, none of the people that were walking toward him can now be seen behind him as they should be. It's not a montage either, these scenes are to be taken that they are occurring in real time.

Cliffhanger (1993)
Audio problem: Just before the crashed jet skids to a stop, you can hear the jet engines despite them being ripped off with the tail fin quite a way back, so you shouldn't be able to hear them.
