Factual error: During the bank car heist at the start of the movie, the guard who leaves the drivers seat and fires with a rifle fires way more shots than is feasible without reloading at any point.

Plot hole: When the brakes fail on the truck, Cold insists that he and the woman have to jump from the truck, simply switching off the engine would have been effective seeing as the truck was a long way from crashing into the tanker, and plenty of room either side of it to avoid it.

Continuity mistake: Captain America scales the walls of Red Skull's lair and enters through a window, yet when the President decides to jump off the roof, Captain America is now back outside the window.

Continuity mistake: When Captain America removes his cowl at the end, his hair is a mess, but when he walks over to Sharon his hair is immaculately styled.

Other mistake: When the President escapes from his cell, he immediately calls down to Sharon. Not only does he not know Sharon, no-one has given him any indication she's even down there, and she's also not said anything to raise awareness of her being there, or her name.

Plot hole: When the President calls his friend Sam at the newspaper, Sam goes on to mention about Captain America possibly meeting Red Skull. It was a Top Secret mission that failed, considering Sam doesn't even know that he's called Captain America, he's even less likely to know he met Red Skull.

Factual error: The two uniformed police officers who take Dargis away at the end have haircuts that touch their collars. Plain clothed officers are allowed to be less stringent about their appearance, uniformed officers are most certainly not, and long hair like that simply doesn't happen.

Continuity mistake: The camera follows Connor from behind as he is driving his car in an attempt to leave the parking lot before the police get there, you can see his hair is quite fluffy and dry. When he gets stopped by the police, his hair is now wet and slicked back.
