Continuity mistake: When a man is giving a locket with two pictures, he places it on his left hand, yet the close-up shows the right hand.
Continuity mistake: When the grey Porsche 911 is chasing Steve and Sharon, it has a shot showing it's nearly on them, but in the next shot the car is now significantly further away from them.
Continuity mistake: When Captain America is attached to the rocket, his shield is behind him, but when he wakes up after leaving the iceblock, the shield is already attached to his arm.
Continuity mistake: When Captain America removes his cowl at the end, his hair is a mess, but when he walks over to Sharon his hair is immaculately styled.
Other mistake: When the President escapes from his cell, he immediately calls down to Sharon. Not only does he not know Sharon, no-one has given him any indication she's even down there, and she's also not said anything to raise awareness of her being there, or her name.
Plot hole: When the President calls his friend Sam at the newspaper, Sam goes on to mention about Captain America possibly meeting Red Skull. It was a Top Secret mission that failed, considering Sam doesn't even know that he's called Captain America, he's even less likely to know he met Red Skull.
Continuity mistake: When Steve and Sharon crash into the sea with the bike, the bag with his shield is not around his neck as he enters the sea, but is there as they surface.
Continuity mistake: One of the two helicopters flies very low over Sam's car, but when it then shows Sam's POV looking at the helicopter, it's much higher than the previous shot.
Continuity mistake: The pictures that were taken of Captain America, as he awoke from the iceblock, were all taken from behind him, yet when the President sees the front page picture, it shows Captain America's face. Captain America never looked at the camera.
Audio problem: When Sharon curses Steve Rogers when he leaves her stranded in Rome she says, "Damn, jerk!", but her lip movements don't match the words.
Revealing mistake: The Nazi doctor jumps out of the fortress from a 12 story window. The close-up of her feet landing reveals a jump from a very low place.
Plot hole: It is beyond improbable that Red Skull's daughter would fly a helicopter directly to Northern Canada knowing that's exactly where Captain America would be, seeing as no-one knew what direction he headed from Alaska or that he even left Alaska.
Continuity mistake: Captain America scales the walls of Red Skull's lair and enters through a window, yet when the President decides to jump off the roof, Captain America is now back outside the window.
Visible crew/equipment: When President Kimball meets General Fleming in the White House for the first time, you can see a microphone popping out of view above the General's head.
