The Equation - S1-E8

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ben's father is showing the video of Ben playing the piano, he fast forwards to "Two weeks later", when Ben is composing his own music, but Ben is wearing the same shirt from the start of the video, which was nine months ago.

Brad

Correction: I don't see the mistake? People have been known wear the same t-shirt, even the same outfit every now and then. I admittedly, once wore the same pair of jeans and my favorite t-shirt for 4 days in a row.

The Core (2003)

Corrected entry: When Josh and Zimsky are briefing the military on the ramifications of the core stopping, they state that after three months, all electronic devices will fry. It takes three months to build Virgil, as stated by Braz ("I built this ship in three damn months") and yet on the surface all electronic devices are working fine.

Brad

Correction: Josh simply says "in a few months every electronic device will be fried" while presenting his findings. Se was not being 100% literal, nor does the word "few" when used in that sense HAVE to mean 3. Furthermore, everyone is dealing with a completely new phenomena. So it is certainly not inconceivable that Josh was off a bit in his calculations.

Epic (2013)

Corrected entry: Early on in the movie, MK's father is showing her the bat sounds on his iPod. If you look in the upper left hand corner of the iPod's display, you can see that the service provider is SkyNet, as used in The Terminator.

Brad

Correction: Or, it could be one of the dozens of wireless and Internet providers all over the world that use the name Skynet. Too common a real-world name to assume it's Terminator-related.

rswarrior

Corrected entry: SPOILERS: Towards the end, Kirk places his hand on the glass separating him and Spock. As he dies, his hand falls off the glass, and then is back again in closeup, where it falls off the glass again.

Brad

Correction: The shot simply shows Kirk's hand slipping down the glass door, it does not show it falling off. In the next shot, his hand is further down the door. This is not a mistake, but shows that he has died by his hand becoming limp and slipping down the door.

Star Trek (2009)

Corrected entry: As Spock is performing the mind meld on a random Romulan, an attacking Romulan is shot from the front by Kirk. Kirk then arrives from behind the Romulan with his phaser drawn. Impossible.

Brad

Correction: This part of the Narada is composed of multiple catwalks, stairs and elevated platforms. The shot actually comes from the side (not the front), then Kirk has to move around from behind to get to where Spock is.

Corrected entry: When Violet begins to inflate into a blueberry, there are two Oompa-Loompas behind her. In the next shot, they are gone.

Brad

Correction: Actually they are backing up. They begin to slowly back away into the darkness where you cannot see them.

Corrected entry: During the Chicago war, right before Optimus loses his trailer, an overhead shot of the Autobots driving reveals a small camera cart following them.

Brad

Correction: There is nothing following Optimus, Except for the Driller. You may have confused it with the car Optimus knocks out of the way to escape from the Driller.

Safe - S1-E10

Corrected entry: Raul Lugo gets stuck halfway between the wall and is alive for several seconds before Loeb kills him. In reality, the wall would crush his internal organs and he would die instantly. No need for Loeb to shoot him.

Brad

Correction: That's like saying "in reality" while referring to the transporter on Star Trek. The fact is we know nothing about how this fictional technology works so we don't know what would happen. It's possible his body simply merged with the wall and it took a while for it to shut down.

Unleashed - S1-E16

Corrected entry: When they get the idea to poison the larvae inside Charlie, Peter says that the poison killed the larvae. Yet, later, when they do the sonogram, the larvae are still in his stomach.

Brad

Correction: The poison killed the larvae, it didn't dissolve them.

rswarrior

Corrected entry: When the girls are in the cage, Jeanette's glasses are outside of the cage. After they pick the lock, Jeanette's glasses are back on, with no time for her to retrieve them between shots.

Brad

Correction: If you watch the scene again, you'll notice that her glasses are actually on Ian's coat. When the girls notice Ian returning and throw the cell phone back onto his coat, it causes the glasses to pop up and fall into the cage.

Corrected entry: Selina Kyle steals Wayne's Lamborghini after the charity ball. After Wayne is kicked out of the board meeting, his Lamborghini is being towed. He hasn't yet met with Kyle at her apartment, so he hasn't gotten it back yet.

Brad

Correction: Firstly,I don't believe that Bruce Wayne has only one Lamborghini. Secondly Selena would have abandoned the car somewhere, she wouldn't have gone home with it to be caught by the police. And third, some days have passed from the day she took the car. Surely Bruce has the resources to recover his car and have it brought back to his house.

Anastasios Anastasatos

Corrected entry: Bella and Jacob repeatedly refer to Renesmee as Charlie's "niece". However, Charlie, being Bella's father, is actually Renesmee's grandfather. Yes, he was not told that Bella gave birth to Renesmee, but he was still told that she is Bella's daughter, so she cannot in any sense be Charlie's niece.

Brad

Correction: Charlie is told that Renesmee is Edward's niece. Under that scenario, Renesmee would technically be considered Charlie's grand-niece by Bella's marriage to Edward. They also say they "adopted" her, also making her his granddaughter. To protect Charlie from the Volturi, he cannot be told the real circumstances about Renesmee's birth, so the explanation is deliberately left rather vague. Charlie suspects there is more than he is being told, mentioning that Renesmee has Bella's eyes, but he just goes along with it.

raywest

Correction: Paintball markers can easily shoot two balls in one shot. They aren't as reliable as a real gun.

Grumpy Scot

Corrected entry: When Ash and co. arrive on Shamouti Island, Melody doesn't seem to know who Misty is, hence her asking if she was Ash's girlfriend. Five seconds later, she calls Misty by her name. Yes, Misty is a Gym Leader and she would be famous, but Melody didn't know who Misty was a few moments ago, so this doesn't fly.

Brad

Correction: Even if you know who someone is, that doesn't mean you know everything about them. How else could she have known that they weren't a couple without asking?

Knever

She did ask if Misty was his girlfriend. She did not know if they were a couple or not. She also asked if she was Ash's sister, so it's clear she didn't know who Misty was, but suddenly knew her name.

Corrected entry: In the opening plane crash scene, as Bane is talking to the CIA guy, he says, "Dr. Pavel refused our offer in favor of yours. We had to find out what he told you." At the end of this line, if you listen carefully, you can hear Bane start to say something else, but gets cut off. (The original line in the script was "We had to find out what he told you about us.").

Brad

Correction: Bane being cut off while talking is not a mistake.

Star Trek (2009)

Corrected entry: Nero claims that Starfleet has border protection grids surrounding its planets, hence his need to capture Pike and interrogate him. Yet earlier, Nero's ship managed to get past Vulcan's defenses with nothing but his ship's weapons. Yes, they're advanced weapons, but Nero needed Pike's information to get past Earth's defenses, so there's no reason he'd be able to get past Vulcan's.

Brad

Correction: There's any number of ways Nero could have obtained the information he needed about penetrating Vulcan's defenses and not Earth's. He could have posed as a Vulcan [if this timeline follows TOS timeline, then no one is aware of what Romulans look like]. Or he could have captured a Vulcan ship and interrogated one of its officers.

Serenity (2005)

Corrected entry: In the pilot of Firefly, River seems shocked to see Simon when she wakes up from cryosleep. In Serenity, she sees Simon before going into cryosleep, so she should remember. One could argue that due to her mental problems she simply forgot, but River's memory has always been extraordinary, even in terrible circumstances.

Brad

Correction: Waking from cryosleep results in brief temporary mental disorientation.

The No-Brainer - S1-E12

Corrected entry: Right before the second body is found, Olivia interviews Luke Dempsey. After the second body is examined, while Peter leaves with the hard drives, Olivia says that she's going to interview Luke. She just did that.

Brad

Correction: With the discovery of a second body and Luke Dempsey is the prime suspect, why can't Olivia interview him again?

The Avengers (2012)

Corrected entry: MAJOR SPOILERS: Agent Coulson dies with his eyes open. When Fury stands up, Coulson's eyes are suddenly closed.

Brad

Correction: If you look closely you can see that his left eye is partially open in both the close-up and the wider shots. You can't see his right eye in the wider shot so you can't make the comparison.

XIII

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the film, it is mentioned that the bomb will go off in 11 minutes. There's a chase scene with Gordon in the back of the truck with the bomb and at one point, you can see the timer on the bomb reads 17 minutes. In close up, it reads 10 minutes.

Brad

Correction: It never seen to display 17 minutes. The 7 could be mistaken for a 1 if the timer is displayed at a distance.
