White House Down (2013)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, Tatum turns a large 50 caliber weapon on the villain of the movie and fires it rapid fire repeatedly at him, killing him. A shot later from a distance, you see the villain just crumple over and fall down dead, barely any damage visible to him. Had this been real life, a high caliber weapon like that fired at such close range for such a long time would have torn his body to shreds, not left it intact for him to fall over. But this movie was rated PG-13, and showing the gore that would really have resulted in would have made it R.

Quantom X

Correction: The weapon was not a .50 caliber Browning Machine Gun as used against the approaching Delta Force Blackhawks. It was a Dillon Aero Mini-Gun chambered in 5.56mm, also known as .223 caliber - a significantly smaller and less powerful round. This is the same as used by the M-4, AR-15, M-16 and other variants. While the rate of fire alone would be capable of doing the described action, in the movie scene he did miss a lot; tearing up the wall above and around him as well.

The Monuments Men (2014)

Corrected entry: When Claire is yelling at Stahl through the fence that she sees him and he shoots at her, her hands keep changing position on the fence between shots. (00:26:40)

Quantom X

Correction: I'm watching and re-watching and her hands stay in the same place on the fence.

Triumvirate of Terror! - S3-E8

Corrected entry: Wonder Woman hits a ball high into the air, and it is traveling out of the park. But one of the villains shoots super cooled air at the ball and freezes it, causing it to come to a stop, and fall straight down. Just freezing it would not have stopped it. Momentum would have continued frozen or not. Doesn't make sense that freezing the ball would cause it to stop in mid air and fall straight down, especially after a power hit from Wonder Woman. (00:01:45)

Quantom X

Correction: The ball she hits starts to go nearly straight up and not close to going out of the park when it's hit with the ice. Momentum was stopped by the added weight of the ice. Because the ball was going nearly straight up, it fell nearly straight down. There were no mistakes in the scene.

Iron Forged in Fire: Part One - S1-E1

Corrected entry: In the plane on the way to the Earth Mover testing grounds, Howard looks out the window of the right side of the plane and tells Tony to look at Tony’s genius at work. They both look out the widow of the right side of the plane, but the camera pulls back showing the Earth Mover is on the left side of the plane. So Tony and Howard were looking at nothing. (00:04:20)

Quantom X

Correction: In the shot after they look out the window, it shows a shot of the plane above cloud level, so at this point, they aren't actually at the test grounds yet and it is actually possible Tony and Howard were able to see the Earth Mover from this location. THEN the shot cut to show the Earth Mover on the left side of the plane.

World War Z (2013)

Corrected entry: As Gerry and Segen are climbing on board the airliner to escape Jerusalem, one of the pilots takes their weapons, like Segen's machete and Gerry's assault rifle. Once they climb up the later, the pilot throws the rifle out of the jet through the hole they came in through. The sound effect is wrong here. It is a ladder hole leading out of the plane to the concrete runway below that is a drop of several feet. Yet as he chucks it down the hole, it makes a sound the instant it is out of sight, as if the ground is right there, and it makes the sound of the gun hitting a regular floor. (01:03:05)

Quantom X

Correction: The hatch in the cockpit floor does not lead directly to the ladder hatch shown in exterior shots of the plane, it would lead to a section of the forward hold, so the gun making an impact sound just after being thrown through the hatch would be correct.

Corrected entry: When Stoick has the other Vikings blow a hole in the mountain with catapults, he then has a fireball fired down the new cave and it shows hundreds of dragons all over the walls and ceiling. When Stoick yells and charges forward, the dragons scatter and rush out the hole in a panic, but far fewer dragons are shown escaping the hole. (01:13:15)

Quantom X

Correction: When stoick fires the catapult containing the burning rock, there are hundreds of dragons shown, but if you watch carefully along the back of the mountain, you see the rest flying away.

Corrected entry: After killing the guards who rush in after he escapes from the stasis chamber, Storm Shadow looks at Warden James and says, "Welcome to hell". The ground he is standing on is completely covered in water from when the stasis chamber broke, spilling it everywhere. James uses this to his advantage and slams a defibrillator paddle onto it, electrifying the wet floor to shock Storm Shadow. James then gets up and takes off running... across the very same floor while Storm Shadow is still being electrocuted, but without a hitch. (00:35:15)

Quantom X

Correction: The warden is wearing rubber soled shoes, while Stormshadow is barefoot or nearly so.

The Wolverine (2013)

Corrected entry: The Silver Samurai cuts off Logan's Adamantium claws with the super heated swords. But you can see that the cut is not all the way down to his skin. The base of the metal claw is still there with bits of the bone claw still inside. Moments later when the bone claws heal, he extends them to stab the guy. Yet his entire set of claws are fully bone. The base should still be visible as Adamantium.

Quantom X

Correction: After the Silver Samurai's arms release their grasp from Logan it takes the remaining adamantium off as well. This is most noticeable when Logan is getting up and he looks at his hands and the adamantium is gone.

Corrected entry: When Storm Shadow busts out of the containment chamber in the prison, he throws two shurikens at some guards. Where did he get these? He came in in Snake Eye's full body suit of armor, but in the tank he had on the life preservation suits for the injections and aquatic suspension. If they prison had any ounce of intelligence and protocol at all for processing prisoners, especially ones as dangerous as a ninja and two leaders of a global threat organization, Storm Shadow would have been stripped and searched in full before put in that container. And there's no way he swallowed the shurikens. (00:34:10)

Quantom X

Correction: He threw shards of glass from the tank.

World War Z (2013)

Corrected entry: After the phone rings, one of the W.H.O. Scientists gives Gerry the code to get into Vault 139. As Gerry sets down his crowbar against the wall to key in the code, you can see the supposedly air tight seal around the door of the vault holding the deadly pathogens, is not actually sealed. There is a very visible gap, showing it's a set. (01:38:10)

Quantom X

Correction: Vault 139 is just that - a vault. A secure storage room, not a bio-hazard safety room. Vials stored there would be moved to more secure handling areas for tests. It is very prevalent in movie fiction that all dangerous diseases are under triple-layer retinal security areas; but that's not real life. It doesn't need to be airtight, just locked up.

The Wolverine (2013)

Corrected entry: After the samurai mech suit is destroyed, Logan is lying on the ground and begins having another delusion about Jean. During this sequence, his beard is shorter than before, and after that.

Quantom X

Correction: Because it's a fantasy in his head. He's not as sweaty or beaten looking either.

Donkey Kong 64

Corrected entry: In the desert level, Lanky Kong's blue print is in a place that only Tiny Kong can access with her shrink ability.

Quantom X

Correction: Lanky Kong can access that area, Tiny has to activate the number 2 Banana Pad for Lanky to enter in.

Kiss 'N Tell - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Frog Link goes to his room and is behind Spryte, he says her name and then tells her "No! Don't look." So she won't see his new form. But she looks back and then reacts to him saying don't look before he even says it. She already quickly turns back around just before he even says "No." (00:08:25)

Quantom X

Correction: She wasn't reacting to his outburst, she was reacting to his appearance. She was startled by what she saw and reflexively turned away.

Phixius

Corrected entry: In order to defeat Doomsday, Superman launches both him and the creature into space, and then plummets back down to Earth as a meteor. Yet... Superman takes Doomsday back down right in the middle of one of the most populated cities on Earth, Metropolis. The effect of their impact being little different than if a meteor had crashed in the heart of Metropolis, causing a huge crater, making several buildings fall, completely demolishing about a half mile or more radius, and causing incalculable property damage and structural damage to all the buildings in at least a 2 mile radius of the impact. Given the height they fall from, Superman definitely had time to angle themselves away from such a densely populated area. (00:26:20)

Quantom X

Correction: If he wasn't fighting to keep Doomsday from escaping, of course he could have changed course. But Doomsday was fighting him the whole way down.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: While trying to get a response from Washington about the code name, David 14, the aircraft, which moments later is revealed as Air Force One, finally communicates with them. The female voice says they are going to crash while spurting threats. As she is doing this, you can hear the engines of the plane getting louder and louder over the radio. It is obviously the sound of a propeller plane. Moments later, a shot reveals Air Force One as a jet engine airliner, not capable of making the sound heard over the radio. (00:10:25)

Quantom X

Correction: The sound is radio static, not propellers.

Oblivion (2013)

Corrected entry: When Jack Tech 49 is in tower 52, Vicky 52 finds him and carries on a conversation with him, thinking he is Jack 52, who was just sent to fix a drone that came across the border - she lost contact with him, and being his lover she'd obviously be worried. She sees Jack 49, and sees the tattered clothes, the wound on his nose and cheek, but says nothing of it. Jack just says "False alarm." yet he obviously looks like he's been through hell and back with his clothes in their burned, shot, tattered condition, and the cut on his nose being a day old and looks it. And she just saw Jack 52 in basically perfect condition. A concerned lover alone, as well as a guardian team mate would have been much more concerned by his condition, especially with it changing in such a short amount of time so drastically after reportedly investigating a downed drone and "bogey." (01:23:00)

Quantom X

Correction: If Jack 49's exploits in the first act are anything to go by, these Techs can see quite a lot of action during a day's work. Vicky 52 is undoubtedly concerned, but it's also nothing she hasn't seen before. As she can tell he's in a hurry, and their mission so far as she knows is very important, she's likely saving her questions to be discussed over supper that night.

Phixius

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the film, Batman and Superman get in an elevator and turn to face the doors. Batman is on the right, and Superman on the left. When the doors close and they talk for a moment, they are still in this same position. But when the door opens again to let them out, suddenly they have switched. Superman on the right, and Batman now on the left. (00:03:20)

Quantom X

Correction: The second time we see this scene, it was revealed that Superman and Batman switched costumes - when the lift opened, they are seen adjusting their costumes. It's still the same people in the same positions, just in different clothes.

Casual Person

Corrected entry: The Deconstructor is supposed to rip apart any shiny black object. Joker first uses it on Batman's car when Batman is chasing Lex's truck. His car is ripped apart by the blast as it should be. But Batman is unharmed by the Deconstructor. But his is also shiny and black. Yet later it does start to work on him after Joker makes the people want to vote him president. (00:38:50 - 00:59:10)

Quantom X

Correction: Even though we are told the Deconstructor rips apart LEGO objects, we are never told if it could rip apart more than one LEGO object at the same time. The Deconstructor probably wouldn't have harmed Batman because it was already ripping apart the Batmobile. The reason for the Deconstructor ripping Batman later in the scene where the Joker makes Gotham vote for him is because there was only one thing there for the Deconstructor to rip apart. Batman, himself. It's most likely that the Deconstructor can only rip apart one LEGO object at a time, the first one it comes into contact with.

Casual Person

Corrected entry: John chases down the chopper as Jack goes after Yuri. John is seen climbing into the chopper but struggling, and you can see the chopper lift into the air well away from the tiled concrete ground it was on. It cuts to Jack running up some stairs, then back to John but showing a view of him climbing in the chopper from inside the chopper. It is a down angle, and you can see the concrete floor is now only a few feet below him, where it was much further from it two shots before. (01:22:15)

Quantom X

Correction: Pay attention to the width of one concrete slab when the helicopter is on the ground (a scene before John runs outside). If we take an estimate that the slab is at least 15ft (approx 5m) wide and 30ft (10m) long. The helicopter cabin is nowhere near as wide as the slab. You can easily see at least 3 slab (widths) from inside the cabin looking out. Indicating that helicopter is fairly high up.

Star Trek (2009)

Corrected entry: While running from the cop, young James Kirk barrels towards a cliff in his stepdad's car. He is able to slow down some before reaching the edge, and jumps out, barely grabbing the edge to keep from going over himself. The car is still going a good speed as it slides sideways and goes off the cliff. But as the camera follows its movement over the edge, it is seen falling almost straight down. The momentum it had, from its still considerable speed, would have had it moving out away from the canyon wall as it went down, not just going straight down. (00:14:00)

Quantom X

Correction: It's a trick of perspective, the car is a fair enough distance from the cliff as it falls.
