Years ago I remember watching a two part movie on HBO, STARZ or some other movie channel like that on Comcast's on demand cable. It was about two people who (I think) were having to stay awake because creatures in the dark would come and get them. I think the creatures stalked them and branded them or something, like how we tag animals to track their movement. The creatures branded or tagged them by a red blemish on the skin, which below the blemish was a bone-hook type thing. These monsters lived in the shadows and I can only remember a few scenes so bare with me please. 1. There are 3 characters that I can remember; a guy, his girlfriend and, I think, his ex-girlfriend. In one scene, the guy thinks the creatures have "tagged" his girlfriend because she has a weird mark on her. She's missing the next day. 2. The "ex-girlfriend" goes to a bathroom in a bar and pulls out the bone from her temple. 3. In the final scene the ex-girlfriend ends up in an asylum. The camera pans into a closet and you see all these monsters and then she is dragged into a closet by the creatures. Sorry for the giant post, but I have to find the movie again. Thanks for the help.

Question: What was the eventual fate of the Earth President? His 'A113' message ends with him muttering about "getting the hell out of here" which would suggest he went on the space liners with the other humans but no further mention is ever made of him.
Answer: He almost certainly boarded the Axiom, and lived out the remainder of his days in luxury.
Actually, I think he stayed on earth. In the message, he says Earth is beyond saving, and that everyone should remain in space and not return to earth. He then puts on a gas mask, accepting that Earth is a lost cause. There'd be no need for a gas mask if he was aboard the Axiom. Also, we see the message was sent to the Axiom in 2110. If you look at the date of the 1st captain, it is 2105. So, he stayed on earth to clean up the planet, and after 5 years they deemed it a lost cause and sent that message.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Question: Why is is Yoda is always seen stooped and hobbling around everywhere with a walking stick - but when it comes to fighting, with his duel against Count Dooku at the end of this movie for example - he all of a sudden practically becomes a ninja; jumping, spinning and battling with his lightsaber so spectacularly?
Answer: He must tap into the Force to perform these acrobatics. Without doing so, he is restricted in movement by his age and limp. He feels it would be squanderous, selfish, and unnecesary to use his abilities with the Force simply to get about.
Except in the case of the scene where he's walking with Obi-Wan and Mace in the temple. Then he's using the force to float his chair.

Question: Can some one explain a couple things about this movie for me? I was confused to if the events really happen or are they just in the kids mind? Also, how long is he gone for because it seems it should be days because of what happens, but when he gets home it seems only hours have passed.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Question: I searched a lot and kept expecting to see this discussed: Why doesn't Gordon arrest Ramirez after the hospital explosion? At this point he's done a mea culpa to Dent re not taking his advice on MCU corruption; he's received a trusted text message about Ramirez & Berg; and he's experienced Berg's betrayal first-hand. Yet he talks about Dent being missing in front of her, then entrusts her with critical operational duties. Even though they're close and in disaster conditions, his utter failure to call her out on anything is bizarre given what's already happened.
Answer: At this point, what proof does Gordon have? The text message that you speak of points out Ramirez and Berg as people who have relatives in the hospital, nothing more. Berg wasn't necessarily a crooked cop, he was just pushed to the edge when he tried to kill Reese because he wanted to ensure his wife's safety. You can see in the moments leading up to it that he's having a really hard time with this. Coincidentally Ramirez's mother was indeed in the hospital, and Ramirez took bribes to help with the Medical bills. To my recollection, Gordon has nothing linking Ramirez to the explosion of the hospital.

Aliens (1986)
Question: When the marines are being briefed before going down to the planet, I've two questions about those that Hudson asks. A) He asks something like, "Is this going to be a stand-up fight or another bug-hunt?" By "bug-hunt" does he mean they've fought some other kind of alien enemy before? It's made clear they've never encountered the signature aliens of the movie before. B) He asks, "How do I get out of this chicken-sh*t outfit?" What exactly does he mean by this? Is he referring to his team as the "chicken-sh*t outfit" and if so, why? None of them appear in any way concerned or afraid of what danger they may be heading into. Ripley in particular seems annoyed by how lightly they're treating the whole situation.
Answer: I would say that he says bug hunt because it isn't the first time Space Marines have had a report of alien life in the universe and had to investigate finding nothing. 2nd questions is that Hudson says that because he doesn't take that outfit seriously. They are Marines and want a confirmed fight not a "bug hunt" sounds like they are just being used to do stupid missions.
Answer: For the first question, he means "will we be actually fighting a real enemy (will this be enjoyable) or are we just going in to wipe out some helpless creatures (like an exterminator wipes out bugs)". For the second question, he is referring to his unit as the chicken shit outfit, but he's just making a joke; a humorous reversal of the truth referencing the fact that no one is afraid at all.

Question: It was explained in the movie that that the scientist gave his life to 1 through 9, and that each one has a different part of him. Why, then would 7 be a female? Shouldn't they all be male, all being part of the scientist?
Answer: All men have an X chromosome, whereas women have two, so it a fair leap of logic to assume that some part of every male's psyche is feminine to some degree.
She might have been someone that the scientist loved. You know how they say that who ever you love will always be in your heart? Or, is in your heart? That person that he loved was forever in his soul. She became a part of him. Even though we never really saw any relationships in the flashbacks.

Question: Hitler refers to Bear Jew as a "Golem." What is that?
Answer: In Hebrew folklore, a Golem is an anthropomorphic creature made from the earth (stone, mud, clay, etc.) that can be brought to life by writing a specific word on its body or on paper and feeding the paper to it. It is then bound to obey the will of its creator. Golems are completely unintelligent, but unwaveringly obedient. Traditionally, they are very large and very strong; most likely because they were to have been used to perform tasks of brute strength that a human could not have accomplished. The specific word is pronounced "Emet," translating to "truth." If you remove the first letter from the word on the golem it becomes "met," which translates to "death."

Question: Outside Madison and Haig, a gypsy corners our dynamic duo and tells Watson his future. I figured out that Holmes was setting Watson up when I saw her in the crowd at the start of the 'crowded alley' scene, moving quickly to get into position outside Madison and Haig. But how does Watson realise that Holmes has set him up? He never saw the gypsy at the start, and all Holmes says at the time is 'Doilies'. Am I just being really slow?

General questions
I saw this movie about 3-4 years ago and missed much of it at the start, but this is what I remember. There is a woman (I think she died at the start) who is a tooth fairy and she comes to a boy (he may be her son) and speaks to him every night, and occasionally sings this song. Then she goes back to this place where there is a stairway to heaven (I think) and an elevator to hell, and she goes down screaming. The screen goes all white and you see her lying on the road (perhaps that's how she died) and she sees a traffic warden miming something like "you have one more chance". Any suggestions for the name of this movie would be amazing.

Question: In At World's End, Jack and Beckett are hammering out a deal on the Endeavour, and Jack says Beckett can have Barbossa, Will, Pintel, Ragetti etc. but fails to mention Elizabeth, at which point Beckett asks, 'And what about Miss Swann?' and Jack answers, 'Of what interest is she to you?' Does this mean he still likes Elizabeth (even though she left him to die in Dead Man's Chest, and their relationship in this film is obviously frosty)? Did I miss something? Is Jack pulling some trick?
Chosen answer: Well, Jack has no intention of allowing Beckett to have Will or any of the others, except maybe Barbossa. Elizabeth, he is simply more hesitant to risk the way he is risking the others. He does not "like" her nor have "feelings" for her. However, in Dead Man's Chest, at some point, it was just implied that Jack did have an interest in her at the same time Elizabeth was in denial of her interest in him. That was when they were coming at each other talking about "curiosity." There was one point they were interested in each other.

She was incredibly depressed. She wasn't happy anywhere and she didn't fit in with her own family or anything they were trying to do. She was a goth girl. The realm of the dead and the macabre seemed more a place for her. When one sees the "Netherworld," it kind of seems like a more interesting place. But... upon closer inspection, it's not really all that different from our world.
Answer: She wanted to be with her mom who had passed sway.
It's never stated that her mom had died. There could be a possibility that Charles and her mom got divorced. The first two answers are more likely.
I've heard the interpretation that Delia really is Lydia's biological mother, but they are very different and don't get along, so Lydia pretends that Delia is a stepmother.
