He then uses Polymerization to fuse Gaia the Fierce Knight and Curse of Dragon together to summon the Fusion monster Gaia the Dragon Champion. There was no real reason for him to summon Gaia the Fierce Knight to the field if he was going to use Polymerization on it, as Polymerization allows the player to fuse monsters that are present in both the player's hand and field. When Yugi draws the last card, his right hand is touching it. In a close-up of the cards, where it's revealed the last card was Dark Magician, his right hand is not touching it. (00:07:30)

There are also two plates on the trolley that are beside the kettle, but change to being behind the kettle when the shot cuts. (00:01:42)
