Clash in the Coliseum: Part 3 - S3-E34

Character mistake: When Slifer the Sky Dragon's attack points go from 2000 to 3000, Kaiba tells Yugi, "But now that your turn is over, Obelisk regains its full strength," but Yugi's turn isn't over; it only just started, as shown by him activating Pot of Greed shortly after. (00:05:08)

The Darkness Returns: Part 2 - S3-E29

Continuity mistake: When Baby Dragon is on Joey's field, the monster card on his duel disk is positioned at a rotated angle with the artwork facing to the left and the wording facing to the right. But later in the episode, when Joey summons Jinzo, in the shot of the Jinzo card being placed on the duel disk, the Baby Dragon card is facing the opposite direction, with the artwork facing to the right and the wording facing to the left. Back to Battle City: Part 3 - S3-E27

Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode, in the wide shots of the duelling room, the platform that Yugi is standing in is several meters below the number 2000. This is because Yugi has 3000 life points, and the platform's position depends on what the duelist's life points are. When Marik says to himself, "Crushing the Pharaoh is a much more appealing choice," the platform Yugi is standing on is now aligned with the number 2000 (which shouldn't be the case since his life points are 3000). Back to Battle City: Part 1 - S3-E25

Continuity mistake: When the main characters walk inside the tower, in the wide shot of Roland saying the Battle City finals will take place there, all of the characters are facing the same direction. In the next shot, Yugi, Joey, and Tristan are all facing different directions from one another. Also, the other characters cannot be seen in the shot next to them, even though they were all standing next to each other. (00:10:28)

Burying the Past: Part 2 - S3-E24

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba draws the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card, he has one finger on the back and one finger on the front side, with his fingers positioned near the middle of the bottom side. Then, when the card is revealed in the close-up, he has two fingers on the back and his thumb on the front, which are positioned on the right-hand side of the card. (00:11:13)

Burying the Past: Part 1 - S3-E23

Continuity mistake: When a giant lizard man appears near the alleyway, Yugi says, "Looks like our work's not done," and stands behind Joey. When the shot cuts, Joey can be seen in the shot, but Yugi cannot be seen behind him. Then Yugi runs up to him, showing he was in front of him, instead of behind him. (00:11:38)

Revealing mistake: When Kaiba tells Gozaburo that he's about to send four pieces of Exodia to the graveyard, Gozaburo asks, "Then what are you waiting for?" and raises his forearms. When he does this, the cards in his hands are missing the illustrations. (00:10:14)
