Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode, in the wide shots of the duelling room, the platform that Yugi is standing in is several meters below the number 2000. This is because Yugi has 3000 life points, and the platform's position depends on what the duelist's life points are. When Marik says to himself, "Crushing the Pharaoh is a much more appealing choice," the platform Yugi is standing on is now aligned with the number 2000 (which shouldn't be the case since his life points are 3000). Continuity mistake: When the main characters walk inside the tower, in the wide shot of Roland saying the Battle City finals will take place there, all of the characters are facing the same direction. In the next shot, Yugi, Joey, and Tristan are all facing different directions from one another.
