Continuity mistake: When J.C. arrives at her new house, she takes Elizabeth out of the car and holds her under her left arm. In the next shot, she suddenly has her under her right arm.

Question: At the end of their date, Daniel and Ali run into some of her snobby friends who insult Daniel and drive off. Then Ali seems irritated at Daniel, but why? She's the one who is more laid back about their relationship and the fact that Daniel doesn't fit in with her friends. You'd think if anything she would try to reassure Daniel and say it's no big deal. So why is she mad at him, especially since he didn't say or do anything to make her so?

Trivia: The entire premise of this episode, where a man in turn-of-the-century garb sings and charms his way into the townspeople's hearts as part of an elaborate con, is a takeoff of the musical, "The Music Man" (1962). Even the tunes of the songs they sing are similar.

Revealing mistake: In the first wide shot of Aragorn taking the Hobbits "into the wild" they are cresting a hill and the village of Bree is visible behind them. This is obviously a backdrop because the smoke coming out of the chimneys doesn't move at all. (01:05:25)

Trivia: Troy McClure's strange house that looks like a UFO on a pole is based on an actual house in the Hollywood Hills that looks just like that. It can be seen in Brian De Palma's film, "Body Double" (1984).

Revealing mistake: In the first shot of the Fellowship climbing the snow-covered mountain, if you look closely you can see the snow that's in front of them has already been messed-up and trod upon - apparently not the first take.

Bart of Darkness - S6-E1

Trivia: Once Bart witnesses Flanders' "murder" the show becomes a takeoff of Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" (1954). Bart is spying on the neighbors while his leg is in a cast, just as Jimmy Stewart does in the film. He even sees an older man with his leg in a cast looking back at him. The man calls for "Grace" to come see the sinister kid. Grace Kelly played Lisa, Stewart's girlfriend in the film. Stewart watches as Lisa goes snooping through the neighbor's house just as Bart watches Lisa Simpson. And when the neighbors come home, they both call for "Lisa" to get out of there.

Revealing mistake: When Shannon is playing the band music on the piano at the beginning, the movements of her hands don't match the notes heard.

Continuity mistake: During the battle of Carthage, Maximus rides past another man standing on the ground and throws a spear into his chest. The man clutches the spear with his right hand as he falls backwards, but when it cuts to him hitting the ground both his hands are out to the side and the spear has suddenly disappeared. (01:21:50)

Other mistake: It's raining when Nameless and Sky are fighting (rain is dripping off their swords and is on Nameless' face when going towards Sky in slo-mo), but their entire bodies never get wet.

Trivia: Towards the end, Mr. Burns starts becoming insane, growing long hair and long, claw-like fingernails and toenails, and becoming obsessed with germs. This just what happened to Howard Hughes, the eccentric billionaire who died in 1976. Burns also has a plane called the "Spruce Moose." Hughes' plane was the "Spruce Goose," currently displayed in Long Beach, California.

Trivia: In the first shot inside the bomb shelter after the whole town has crammed in, you can see Waldo from the "Where's Waldo?" books at the top of the screen.

Trivia: There is an extra "two months later" scene at the very end after the credits.

Question: At the briefing it's pointed out that there's a hospital, school, etc. around the factory they're bombing, and Dennis is very adamant about getting the bombs "right in the pickle barrel" so a lot of innocent people don't get hurt. But the planes are spread out over a large area in the sky, and are also moving when the bombs are dropped, so wouldn't the bombs land over a large area and not just in the limited vicinity of the factory?

Continuity mistake: When Todd and Ronna are talking in his apartment, there's a santa hat on the back of the sofa which is first laying with the tassel backwards, then towards the front, although no one touches it.
