Continuity mistake: Guy of Gisbourne's men come upon two of Robin Hood's men in the forest, trying to pull a log onto the path. The men see their enemies and run away, leaving the log sticking out onto the path. But the log suddenly disappears when Gisbourne's men go after them, and never again reappears.

Continuity mistake: When Robin is giving his inspirational speech to the people who have just fled the village, at one point Wolf walks and stands behind Will twice in a row. Then there's a reverse shot from behind Will, where Wolf should be visible, but he's nowhere to be seen. Cut back to the front view, and he's just where he should be.

Continuity mistake: When Robin is talking to the Bishop in his private chambers, they're sitting by the window. They're both lit on the side of their faces that are near the window, but for some reason in the Bishop's closeups, he has harsh white light on the other side of his face as well. Not only is there no source for this light, but in the wide shot that side of his face isn't lit.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end, Charles Grodin gets out of a cab in the rain and goes across the street, but in the next shot his hair is completely dry.

Continuity mistake: At the very end, Pamela tells her boyfriend to drop dead and walks away, off to her right. But in the last shot where Scott is hugging his girlfriend and his dad, if you look just to the lower left of them, not only is Pamela still just standing there, but she's to the left of where she was standing before.

The actors had practiced a fake slap and fake reaction, but Spielberg and the actress playing the nanny conspired to make the slap real when the cameras were rolling, so Christian Bale's reaction would be genuine. Continuity mistake: When Lucy and George are on the roof and Lucy is talking about what it was like growing up there, there are some high angle point-of-view shots of people on the street below. In these shots, the sun is shining and everyone has a dark shadow. But up on the roof, the sky is completely overcast, and there are no shadows anywhere.

But in the next shot, it's suddenly all in place. Then a few shots later it's back across her chest again.
