Continuity mistake: On the Fourth of July, Sean (the youngest Brody kid) is wearing a white t-shirt with orange around the collar, and green shorts. But after Michael goes into shock and Sean is seen crying, he's suddenly wearing darker shorts and a plain white shirt with no orange. Later at the hospital, he has his orange and white shirt and green shorts on again. (01:01:55)

Question: When Dr. Buddy is in the control booth at Yankee Stadium, he's talking to a very old man who he's about to tell what message to put on the scoreboard. The way the film is cut, hanging on the old man for a few extra seconds makes me believe he's someone special in real life, but I saw the movie on a special movie channel promo weekend, and the end credits were squashed up to make room for cast interviews. Anyone know who this elderly gentleman might be?

Continuity mistake: When Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Michael are going down in the elevator, the floor-indicator light switches from three to two. Then ten seconds pass, the elevator jams, and the light is still showing floor two. Pretty pokey elevator that takes more than ten seconds to move from floor to floor.

Continuity mistake: When Ray grabs Kyle in the bar, his left hand grabs the front of Kyle's shirt. But when it cuts to another angle, he's suddenly holding his arm.

Question: After Mary is raped, she begins cleaning herself off in the water in front of Alasdair who immediately figures out what happened and of course wants to tell Rob, so he'll avenge her. But she's extremely adamant that Alasdair not tell Rob about it. But if she REALLY didn't want Rob to know, wouldn't she have waited until she was alone to clean herself up? I'm always confused by this, because when she tells Alasdair to keep quiet, she never seems to be hinting that she doesn't really mean what she says. On the contrary, she's very passionate about it.

Continuity mistake: When the dead guy's son is meeting with Ed Begley Jr. about the show, Begley's hand goes from playing with his pen to being flat on the table from shot to shot. (00:28:40)

Continuity mistake: In addition to the son of the dead guy's stuff jumping from disorganized to organized and back again, at the beginning his pen is seen sitting diagonally on top of his paper. But when he goes to organize it, he slides it onto the paper from the left, meaning it suddenly jumped onto the desk. There's also what appears to be a coin purse in a box which goes from disorganized to organized and back again, even though he never touches it.

Factual error: During the plague when the fire and rocks are falling from the sky, they fall behind a statue of Rameses and are seen through its hollow eye holes. It makes for a great image, but that would mean that the statue's eyes were punched out like a mask, even though before they were just carved into the stone.

Question: As Kenickie is getting ready to drive at Thunder Road, he talks to Danny about a movie where a guy's friend acted as his second in a duel, and then asks if Danny would be his second at Thunder Road. Danny asks if Kenickie wants him to ride with him, Kenickie says no, then they seem to have this moment of mutual understanding and they hug. What's all that about, besides showing that they're friends? What did Kenickie want Danny to do as his second if not ride with him?

Question: I'm no expert on figure skating, so could someone explain why Kate couldn't just become a single skater when she had trouble finding a partner to work with? (Her father says that they should have made her a single skater). To the untrained eye, the fundamentals of single and pair skating seem the same.

Revealing mistake: When Truvy is blow-drying Shelby's hair after she's cut it short, you can tell the blow dryer is not really turned on. The sound was obviously added in later at a lower volume so the characters could talk comfortably over it. Dolly Parton is running her fingers through Julia Roberts' hair to hide the evidence, but if you look closely, you'll see that none of the hair is actually being blown. The only hair moving at any given time is the part that Parton is actually touching.

Continuity mistake: When Leo starts coughing, we see Anna start to get up and go to her right, meaning that she'll pass behind her mother's chair. It then cuts to Siggy for literally a fraction of a second, then to the mother. But Anna is never seen in frame behind her mother at any time.

Factual error: When Leo is "choking," he's coughing and making a lot of yelling and groaning noises. Obviously this means that air is getting to and from his lungs. But the family freaks out, Bob does the Heimlich maneuver, and afterwards the family congratulates Bob for "saving" Leo. The doctor's surely well-educated family should have known that he wasn't in any real danger. (Not to say they wouldn't be concerned, but Bob seems to be doing more damage that what Leo is choking on.)

Continuity mistake: When Cassie and her partner are at her house, she offers him a cookie, then puts the bag on the table. Sometimes the front of the bag is facing outwards and sometimes the back, although no one touches it. (00:40:30)

Continuity mistake: When Scar is circling Ed the hyena during or just before singing "Be Prepared," from the front Ed's tongue is hanging out. But from the side/back view, where the tongue should still be visible, it's gone.

Continuity mistake: When Harvey and Robert are eating in the diner, Harvey passes Robert the ketchup. He picks it up from the top, but when it cuts to another angle he's holding it from the side.

Continuity mistake: When Joan is standing in the New York apartment while it's being renovated, from the back angle she's gesturing widely with her arms. But when it cuts to the front angle, her hands are down against her stomach.

Question: Does anyone know what the scene with the chicken is all about? Where did the chicken come from, and is it supposed to represent anything?

Question: I don't know all the ins and outs of the law, but when Erin is in a car accident, she is going straight through a green light. The other guy rams into her as he tries to cross the intersection (it's not like he just cut her off making a right turn) so obviously he had a red light and not even an arguable right of way. I know money can buy you justice, but how is this not an open and shut case?
