Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of the movie, Gerry's son spills hot coffee all over Gerry's shirt. He is wearing a white shirt/vest for his uniform. There is no stain or even wetness left behind.
Continuity mistake: When Duke and Roadblock are playing video games in Roadblock's house, Roadblock's kids come up and start messing with Duke. They knock Duke's headphones off and comment about his big ears. But then Duke stands up with them on his back and his headphones are on his head again. The next shot, they vanish. (00:05:20)
Continuity mistake: When Eric locks Mia in the basement after she vomits all over Olivia's face, the amount of vomit on Olivia's forehead drastically changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When John and Emily start their tour, the guide asks them where they're from. After that, they start to walk towards one hallway. John and Emily are in the back. The next shot, they're in the front of the pack. There would not have been enough time for this to happen. (00:28:00 - 00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: Barb's eyes are green throughout the movie, but when Chucky stabs her in the eye, the eyeball that rolls down the steps is blue.
Continuity mistake: Just as Katniss is preparing to go on stage with Caesar, Joanne speaks to her backstage just as Katniss starts walking out. However from the view of the audience, Joanna is up on the platform with the other tributes. (01:10:30)
Continuity mistake: When Kantmiss is climbing the tree, the ladder leading up is almost vertical, but in the next shot as she reaches the top, the ladder now has a significant angle to it.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Mike is at the school door lab. When he swipes the access card the door swings out. But when the campus police try to get in it is blocked from the inside, indicating the door opens inwards.
Suggested correction: If you look carefully, you will see, that those are actually two different doors, which even have hinges on different sides. There's some space between them in the entrance to the lab, it can be seen just before Mike enters.
Continuity mistake: When Dusty first takes off for the big race his "D7" on the right side of his tail disappears. (00:32:35)
Continuity mistake: John is taken down by a trap set by Hansel and puts a big hole in his back. He gets back up and is shot down by the Sheriff. As he is getting up a second time, it shows his back. There is no hole in his back or shirt before the Sheriff finishes him off. It also shows no hole or blood on his back in one shot when he is chasing with the bear trap before he is shot the first time. (01:16:45)
Continuity mistake: When Tommy collapses on the stage he is facing Carrie, but when Carrie tries to cradle Tommy, he is facing the backdrop.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Heather runs through the fairground she grabs onto the back of the Ferris wheel seat and is taken up in the air. Leatherface throws the chainsaw at the cop and the next shot shows Heather coming back down the other side of the Ferris wheel. But she should be on the inside of the carriages as it just spins round on an axis. These kinds of wheels don't "twist" at the top otherwise the rider would just be staring at the inside of the wheel the whole time.
Continuity mistake: Before the Princeton interview, Jeremiah has his shirt untucked and he tucks it in when asked to. But when he is standing at the door with the interviewer, his shirt appears untucked, then tucked, and then untucked again, then tucked in again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Papi is in the back of the white Fodge driven by Stig, the Ford Bronco driven by Bobby crashes into Stig's white Dodge twice - both headlights are smashed out. Once the Bronco goes into the ditch and comes back out, the passenger side headlight isn't broken.
Continuity mistake: As Lex and Joker are talking on the bridge between two towers of Arkham Asylum, Joker is shown standing in the middle of the bridge. But when the guy on the intercom announces there is an escape going on, the camera changes angles and suddenly Joker is right next to the edge. (00:19:20)
Continuity mistake: We discover that because time is non-linear in the Further, it was Josh's spirit who was the one knocking on the door in the original film. However, the knocks we see Josh make in this film don't quite match up with the original film. In this film, he knocks many times frantically, whereas in the first film, we only hear a few faint knocks in rounds of three. (The film tries to mask this by inter-cutting footage from the first film to illustrate the point, but it still doesn't quite match up).
Continuity mistake: After the failed attempt to drop a mace on Mr. Ginormous' head, the giant grabs Jack, Tom, and Jerry and taunts them. He then throws them onto the table and Jack's hat comes off and flies away from him. Shot changes angle to Jack trying to sit up and pop off at Ginormous and suddenly his hat is right next to him. Continuity mistake: Lamenting his failed SOS call, he retreats to the cabin where he pours himself a drink. After pouring his drink, he puts the bottle down and the bottle is about a third full. As he drinks from the glass, the bottle changes to be more than 1/2 full. (00:23:00)
Continuity mistake: When Otto is sat down at his HQ, telling the Vet and Kisko that they would become steak, Otto is holding the newspaper in his hands, but in the next shot, the newspaper has disappeared, and he stands up, holding the steak. (00:20:10)
