Continuity mistake: Liberace's mother is playing a poker machine at her son's house, with Matt Damon watching. She puts the money in and pulls the lever and waits to see if she has won. She does this over and over, but one time she puts the money in, she doesn't pull the lever, but even so the machine goes through its motions.
Continuity mistake: In Kandor, Superman punches a hole in the ground and picks up a large chunk of the street out of the hole, but does not move from that spot. The shot changes to the robot's perspective of him about to throw the rock and shows his feet. The ground he just punched and picked up is in perfect condition at his feet. No hole, no cracks, no sign of the damage he just made. (00:41:15)
Continuity mistake: When Max hides under the pig cart, the thermal scan from the ship shows at least 8 or 9 pigs, they barely have room to turn. But when he stands up seconds later, the cart has perhaps five pigs and plenty of space around them. (00:56:00)
Continuity mistake: When Carlos is confronting Manny about the Black Forest, the light on Carlos' face keeps changing. The front views show the right side of his face in shadow. But the views from behind and side show the right side of his face is in the light. (00:34:50)
Continuity mistake: When Alan drops his driving gloves on the way out of the board meeting, the way they're arranged on the floor changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Selena Gomez and Ethan Hawke were driving through the train station being chased by the last of the thugs on a bike, she says 'look out', and shortly after that, the side mirror on the passenger side of the car was knocked of when the car scrapped against the side walk and was shown in several shots following that to have been detached from the car. But subsequently after the chase was over, the side mirror magically reappears, attached to the car.
Continuity mistake: Flint's lab, despite being crushed, filled with food, and knocked down in the first film, is not only fixed to the point it can hold all the water, and empty of food, but is also strung up high and the tube is connected again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Percy is talking to Stephen, Thomas reverses down the track he has arrived on and stops. But when Percy leaves, Thomas has mysteriously disappeared. Also, the track Thomas was on ends at some buffers behind him and leads to the turntable in front of him, but that was set to Percy's line.
Continuity mistake: When Romeo gives his hand to Juliet on the balcony before descending, he gives his right hand to Juliet. Immediately his left hand is shown in Juliet's, then his right hand is shown in hers again.
Continuity mistake: Julia Louis-Dreyfus is getting her toe nails painted by her daughter's friend. The first shot is of her feet right next to each other. The very next shot, her legs are crossed.
Continuity mistake: When the movie starts, Ally walks with his girlfriend, they stop and kiss. She places both hands on his shoulders, but in the close-up the left hand is down. This changes back and forth between angles.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sam takes the girl to the hotel room villa, you can see his tie/scarf goes from being on both shoulders, to one shoulder, then back to both.
Continuity mistake: The Counselor's watchband during the long phone call about choices, fate, and grief with Jefe changes the direction in which it is latched several times throughout the scene. It is quite prominent because it is on the arm he is using to hold the phone. (01:35:00 - 01:40:00)
Continuity mistake: Before the fight, when Ron is making his speech, Brick goes back and forth from having a trident (close shots) to the futuristic gun (long shots).
Continuity mistake: The company is stationed in the Ardennes forest, west of Bastogne, yet they suddenly show up in Germany, some 20 miles to the East.
Continuity mistake: When Chantry is in Dublin writing her list, the list reads: Toronto - My Job - My Family - My Friends - My Life - Wallace. In the next shot of the list, it just reads: My Friends - My Life - Wallace. The first three entries on the list disappear.
Continuity mistake: Before Iggy gets his horns, he got a shot of whisky in the bar from the blonde girl. The level of whisky changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: As Charlotte and her father are hearing Paganini play the violin in their house, they walk to the stairs. As they reach it, her father's head suddenly is turned facing up the stairs.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, as Raimund is crossing the bridge in the rain, his umbrella turns inside out, but as it flies away to the river, it is not turned.
Continuity mistake: Young Dan and Jo are fighting over their meal. The position of the tray on the table changes several times, most noticeably when Dan leaps off the table. Moreover, when he returns to it after he jumped off the bed, the tray is empty minus a little red berry, but it still had rice and other food on it earlier. (00:18:30)
