Other mistake: During the landing, when Jerry is getting Ethan and Roger out of the shuttle using the escape pole, the two people going out (presumably the stuntmen) look to in fact be jumping out the hatch, instead of just being pushed/thrown by Jerry.
Other mistake: When the cruise ship is exploding, the scene is obviously pulled straight from the end of another film called Deep Rising. The clips are identical.
Other mistake: The president's translator puts on his headphones just before the receptionist announces the Russians are on the line.
Suggested correction: He hears the buzzer before the receptionist speaks. Not a mistake.
Other mistake: In the first scene between Richard and Daffy, Daffy calls Richard by name, even though Richard has never told him his name.
Other mistake: When Proximo says "Use this" to Maximus and throws him a piece of body armor, it is not the same armor he uses in the scenes that follow. (01:10:00 - 01:12:55)
Other mistake: More than halfway through the film, after Gwen's room-mate has died of an overdose, she rings her sister on a phone that is not only "Emergencies Only", but it has no numbers on it. So how did she dial out?
Other mistake: The second time Virginia goes down the slide in the 9th Kingdom, you can see that it is a stunt double hurrying to get off at the end.
Other mistake: When Ariel hugs the adult Flounder, his eyebrows suddenly turn blue, then change back.
Other mistake: When Elliot the genius homosexual and Allison arrive at his apartment he hangs her wrap on the arm of the statue. He then begins to take off his overcoat and hangs it on the other arm. There is a cut to another angle and the coat is already hung on the arm and he is sliding out of it. There was not enough time for this transition to happen. (01:02:15)
Other mistake: When Orlando Jones uses the stickup for his hands, in the next play his hands are very clean, and if you have ever used it, you know what I am saying.
Other mistake: Deebo's name is spelled with 2 e's, but throughout the movie the subtitles spell it with only 1 e.
Other mistake: When the airbags are deployed on the "indestructible" Peugeot they stay inflated, making it difficult to get the driver out of the car. Comedic effect aside, real airbags do not deploy when the vehicle is stationary or hit by a hand on the roof and also begin to deflate immediately after deployment due to the gasses cooling and leaking out of the vent(s) in the bag. A previous correction speculating about modified airbags cannot be proved and is irrelevant as they are a legal safety feature of the vehicle and cannot be modified.
Other mistake: Jack's friend Bill (Tom McGowan) was scheduled to have heart bypass surgery, but he is bowling the next day or shortly thereafter.
Other mistake: At the beginning, the police say, "Mona Deary is dead." But how do they know that? The car isn't hers, it's her son's, and it's in the water. It's only when the car has been dragged out of the water that they can see the true picture.
Other mistake: When the cow is seen on the road, note the black and white patterning on its hide. At the end, when you see the cow in a neck brace, it has different patterning. (00:29:50 - 01:44:35)
Other mistake: In the cave we see Tom Hanks drawing an analemma without a precise timekeeper, which is needed to draw one. What he could have done is a meridian rect, which is build with the meridian time. The analemma is the differential chart between the solar time and civil time.
Suggested correction: No, what we see is Tom Hanks drawing a chalk outline on a wall to approximate the date. There is no reason to assume he got it exactly right or knew exactly what he was doing. He probably started just by drawing lines on the cave wall to mark the days then noticed the light.
I'm afraid "just drawing lines" doesn't create the well-crafted analemma you see in the movie. A very precise time-keeping device is necessary: just a minute off will dramatically change the shape.
Other mistake: When Tai is typing an e-mail of apology to Sora, he accidentally types "Love Tai" as opposed to "From Tai" which he finds more appropriate. At that moment, Kari walks in, resulting in Tai's embarrassed stumble into the keyboard. We then see a highlighted "From Tai" change into "Love Tai". It is possible that Tai had already changed it before we saw it and then accidentally pushed Ctrl+Z upon Kari's arrival, but this is more than doubtful.
Other mistake: Either there was or wasn't a 5-year contract from the onset. At first, Sherwood told Bob, "It's just a pilot episode. If we get picked up for a series." Narrator Barry Williams said his agent called to tell him "the network picked up the Brady Bunch for a full season." Season One ended but Sherwood didn't call "until the last minute" to tell the cast they "would be coming back to a second season." Later, Sherwood told Bob that he knew when he did the pilot that he signed a 5-year contract. (00:05:50 - 00:21:40)
Suggested correction: Those two things are not mutually exclusive and that's not how it works in the television industry. Actors usually have to sign a test option agreement with the studio prior to the pilot being picked up (sometimes even before auditioning). This ensures the studio that the actor is committed to the project long term should the pilot be picked up, but signing the contract agreement doesn't guarantee the pilot will be picked up. A 5-year test option agreement seems pretty standard.
I'm aware of such contracts - and surely Florence Henderson would have also been required to sign a five-year agreement, but there (conveniently) was no mention of this.
Other mistake: When Potiphar is buying the horse, Zuleika calls him Joseph when calling him to come fan her before they then ask him for his name. (00:30:00)
Other mistake: When Gino gets shot and killed, the gun that shoots him isn't being held at quite the right angle... the way it's aimed, the bullet should have gone to the right of him, but instead he reacts as though he's been hit in the head. (Given it's a super low budget movie, they probably just didn't have enough time or money for a second take).
