Continuity mistake: Sarah wears her ring on her right hand. However as Sarah begins to climb the ladder in the tunnel after she answers, "You're right," when she puts her right hand on the rung above her, the ring is gone, but it's back in the following shots. (00:37:15)
Continuity mistake: The Bird of Prey is the one captured by Kirk's crew in ST III. That ship's bridge showed Klingon Cmdr Kruge in his elevated command chair with his helmsmen arrayed circularly below him, and nothing else. ST IV has this same ship; however, the bridge now resembles The Enterprise layout with Kirk's command chair behind Sulu and Chekov at their rectangular helm, with Spock, Scotty, and Uhura at their usual positions.
Suggested correction: According to the captain's log at the beginning, they have been on Vulcan for 3 months. As they prepare to depart, we see several Vulcan technicians moving equipment in and around the ship. It's quite conceivable that the bridge was reconfigured according to the crew's specifications to facilitate their use of the ship. This may seem a bit excessive, as the remodel includes the door onto the bridge, and the frame of the door, and possibly most of the rest of the ship. But it's not outside the realm of possibility. The real mistake, though, is why they would go to the effort of installing new workstations on the Klingon bridge and marking them with Klingon labels, instead of standard Federation text. Interestingly, though, the "Starfleet" style bridge layout of the Klingon ship is being used by the Klingons on the Bird of Prey in Star Trek V.
Continuity mistake: The band-aid on Jill's doll disappears and reappears several times.
Continuity mistake: When the boys are dunking each other in the swamp Gordie starts to wade away, when he passes the camera his hair is dry but when he reaches the bank it's wet again. (01:04:56)
Continuity mistake: In one scene, Steve Martin is shot in the arm and bleeds, but when the trio return after the riot the wound has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: In the battle scene at autobot city, Megatron orders Soundwave to jam the transmission that Blaster is sending to Optimus Prime. When Soundwave ejects Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage & Ratbat we see them flying through the air transforming simultaneously and and both Rumble & Frenzy are coloured the same (red & black) when Rumble is supposed to be purple. Continuity mistake: The cave bear tears the head off the man with the blue eyes. In the very next shot there is no trace of blood anywhere on the bear.
Continuity mistake: At the end where Jackie jumps from the side of the cliff to jump onto the hot-air ballon he starts off only a couple of hundred feet from the ground. Then in the next scene he is a couple of thousand feet up, like he has just jumped from an aeroplane.
Continuity mistake: In a matter of 15 seconds between David's ship exiting the hangar and shooting 20 miles upwards into space, shadows on the ground indicate very different positions of the sun. (00:51:05)
Continuity mistake: The film is supposed to take place in 1917, but several of the german soldiers our heroes encounter are armed with Bergman M18 sub-machineguns which didn't appear until a year later. To make things even worse all the guns comes with a magazine-type that didn't appear until the mid-thirties.
Continuity mistake: When Tiger and Fievel are doing their musical piece, Tiger wipes off the mirror and they appear the same size. When he lays out in front of the mirror, singing the line "We'll be there to pick each other off the floor", he places his head next to the cage bottom, still laying on the floor between them. In the mirror, however, that cage bottom is not reflected at all. (00:57:30)
Continuity mistake: When Jack Burton and the rest of the gang escape from the Wing Kong Trade Centre the first time, the guards fire at the left side of the bus breaking the windows and making holes in the bodywork. When we see the bus a few seconds later as it is driving away, it appears undamaged.
Continuity mistake: When the old man is talking to Chandler on the porch in Tibet, he picks his nose with his pinky finger. When it cuts back to him, he's picking with his index finger instead. (01:04:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Dr. Dawson and Olivia are seeking Basil's help at his house, Basil sits down and starts playing the violin, holding it in his right hand and having the bow in his left. When Basil the stands up in another shot, he is holding the violin in his left hand (like it's supposed to be) and the bow in his left.
Continuity mistake: When Andie goes out to get the oxygen from Daedelus she cannot reach it because her helmet won't let her through the structure of the space station, so Max offers to go and help her because he is smaller, but the only suit they can find is an adult one. After a lot of struggling they manage to make the suit smaller and he fits through the structure to get the oxygen but his helmet is the same size as Andie's so although his suit was smaller, he should not have been able to fit. Also notice how long her belt is when Max emerges from the ship. She would have to have about 30 ft of belt to wrap that much around him.
Continuity mistake: When Dundee enters his NY hotel for the first time, he is smoking and puts the ashes on top of his hat because he cannot find anywhere else to put them. In the next shot, the ashes are no longer there.
Continuity mistake: Harrison Ford and his character's family are all huddled on a beach being pummeled by the wind of a powerful hurricane, but visible in the background are a couple of palm trees standing perfectly still.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Volkswagon is sinking in the water, the first shot shows Chuck Norris diving off the car roof and he starts to doggie paddle. The next shot is of Melody Anderson swimming and behind him, Chuck is still on the roof of the car. The next shot, he is back in the water again.
Continuity mistake: When Peach collapses on top of Mario after the weird TV invasion, Mario's arm is on top of hers, but in the closer shot that follows his arm is distant and in fact it is behind hers the moment he turns a little.
Continuity mistake: When Howard is about to fight in the bar he walks down the counter and passes by the same people twice.
