Episode #1.7 - S1-E7
Stupidity: When Eugene approaches Tsuda after Tsuda is shot by Ae-sin, Tsuda attempts to shoot him, but after pulling the trigger, he realises there are no bullets in the gun. Seconds later, a group of soldiers run up to him, and he attempts to shoot them, but he can't because the gun is still not loaded. Something he should have known since he only just attempted to shoot Eugene and failed because of it. (00:50:00 - 00:50:30)
Stupidity: The last remaining Xindi, in desperation, attempts to release the virus over the fan, despite the virus not being fully ready. However, it seems the only reason he didn't release the virus at that time was he had to seek cover from Archer and T'Pol shooting at him and to start shooting back at them. However, he had plenty of cover from the rooftop stairwell, which was right next to the fan, and he had enough time to dump out the contents over the fan.
Emohawk - Polymorph II - S6-E4
Stupidity: On the walk back to Starbug, the Emohawk jumps on Lister's head to disguise itself as Lister's hat, but it leaves itself in its natural form whilst the crew continue to walk. The Emohawk is supposed to be disguising itself to fool the crew into making them think it is any everyday object. The Emohawk eventually changes into Lister's hat, but leaving itself in its natural form even for just a small amount of time could blow its cover. (00:18:15)
It's Only Rock and Roll - S3-E11
Stupidity: When the gangsters show up at the house Pam and Dak Hampton are hiding in, Pam is captured. Dak then attempts to flee by running out the front door. What a dumb move. No surprise that he got captured as well.
Such Sweet Sorrow: Part 2 - S2-E14
Stupidity: The Admiral stays behind to manually pully the blast door lever, sealing off the torpedo from the rest of the ship but dooming herself in the process. Thing is, the lever is right next to the door, takes minimal effort to pull down, and the door moves pretty slowly - they could easily have wrapped a shirt or something around it and pulled it down from outside. Or even taken a gamble, yanked it and dived under the door. Instead she just locks herself in and waits.
Camp Redwood - S9-E1
Stupidity: Brooke leaves her apartment window open as she sleeps, even after telling her friends that serial killers (like The Night Stalker) strike during the summer when everybody leaves their windows open.
Stupidity: Al tells Peg to hide the meat and cheese tray from Bud and Kelly. Obviously you need to refrigerate meat and cheese yet Kelly says I swear I smell cold cuts. Do we have any? Al and Peg both say no. They both have to see it in the fridge every time they open it.
Stupidity: Eve, the assassin trying to kill the Senator, tells Cole to move or she'll shoot through him, rather than just shooting him. She already killed an agent by shooting him in the back and had plenty of time to just shoot Cole, so there's no reason for her to avoid killing him.
When in Rome - S1-E3
Stupidity: A supposedly covert camera is placed in plain sight on a wall in a crowded room, with a prominent antenna showing, and a blinking blue light. (00:16:55)
Stupidity: At the start of the episode, the Brunnen-G planet is about to be under attack by His Shadow in a big ship that is capable of destroying the surface of the planet and everybody on it in under a minute with its fire power. It seems the Brunnen-G had time to respond, seeing as they send a counter measure against His Shadow... Except that they only send a single squadron of 6 fighters. Their planet is about to be obliterated by His Shadow's killer ship, and they only send up 6 fighters. And of course, they fail and all die except for Kai. (00:01:45)
Stupidity: Hard to swallow that a group of vastly experienced policemen smart enough to figure other tricks out (such as the abnormal position of the gun) would be in any doubt about the victim being left or right handed when she is still wearing their watch on the right wrist - and attention is called by Poirot upon that particular detail right from the start.
Storm Before the Calm: Part II - S1-E38
Stupidity: Shane could have easily avoided the blast from Lothor by simply flying away to dodge it. Instead, he just hovers over him and allows his Battlizer to be destroyed.
Stupidity: After Bernie discovers a treatment for the infection, radiotherapy, everything goes back to normal. Except the contagion is airborne (which is why they were going to flush the entire ship's atmosphere), so they're just going to re-infect themselves in a few hours. And there's only one room on the ship that can be exposed to stellar radiation, so there's no way to clean the atmosphere either.
Welcome to Hotel del Luna - S1-E1
Stupidity: The Mayor realises that Man-wol has approached him and taken out her rifle to shoot him with. Yet during the entire time she takes to aim the rifle at him and fire, the Mayor makes no attempt to flee the stage for his own protection. (00:38:15)
