Character mistake: Nick asks Janette if she's ever turned anyone else into a vampire - an odd question, considering the fact that he already knows she has. He was there when she brought the baroness across in the 18th Century flashback sequence for "If Looks Could Kill." It's even odder that Janette tells him she's never done it, since she knows that Nick knows she has. Apparently, the only one not in the know here was the scriptwriter.
Character mistake: Sasha refers to the 'murder' on Thursday 4th June 1982. The date in question was on a Friday.
Episode #6.4 - S6-E4
Character mistake: The character pretending to be Lt. Ellis refers to himself as First Lieutenant. That rank is referred to orally as "Lieutenant", not "First Lieutenant."
The Devil Made Me Do It - S1-E8
Character mistake: In his discussion with Joan about the belief that the devil sometimes disguises himself as God, Father Ken calls the Book of Revelation "Revelations."
Headhunter - S4-E6
Character mistake: Tarrant says they can't land the ship without Slave. Yet in 4-1 "Rescue" he questions the competency of the automatic systems and offers to land the ship himself.
Character mistake: Bobby gets injured in a racing accident. When the family is told by Greg that Bobby is paralyzed and can't walk, Marcia starts to smile, then quickly changes to a sad face to match the situation.
Character mistake: The "frozen" woman on the stairs during the welcome mayor scene repeatedly blinks her eyes.
The Dark and Bloody Ground - S1-E3
Character mistake: Clyde Russell tells Rockford to meet him at his place in "Ambazac Road in Bel Air." The name of the street in real life is Ambazac Way. (00:38:20)
Character mistake: When Geoffrey serves tea after his sassy cough at Vivian's sentence about High Tea not being a sacred institution, the actor messes up when it's time to actually serve tea, with a napkin getting caught in the teacup saucer. Granted, accidents do happen, but it's quite uncharacteristic for the perfect butler Geoffrey is portrayed to be, and simply a flub by Joseph Marcell. (00:17:45)
Dedication - S1-E7
Character mistake: When they show the helicopter containing Alpha team, it is a Bell 206 JetRanger, and the sound effects match it, but Brown says "This is the first time I'm on a Huey." The Huey and JetRanger look and sound nothing alike. (03:25:00)
Cyberwoman - S1-E4
Character mistake: In this episode Jack tells Gwen that he does not sleep, yet the next episode, Small Worlds, begins with Jack asleep and dreaming of the day his comrades died on a train, with rose petals in their mouths.
A.K.A I Have No Spleen - S3-E3
Character mistake: Jeri asks Kith what an open marriage is. She's a sexually promiscuous experienced New York lawyer, middle aged...there's zero chance she needs that defined for her.
Character mistake: Every single time they place a baby on a resuscitaire they put it the wrong way round. Babies are placed feet first into the bed so that you have easy access to the face for resuscitation and chest compressions while standing at the end of the bed, but they put them so the head is furthest away from them.
Character mistake: When April goes to see Hank at his motel, he states her romantic feelings for him are a result of "Nightingale Syndrome," however, the Nightingale Effect is caused by the caregiver developing romantic feelings for the patient, not the other way around.
Episode #5.6 - S5-E6
Character mistake: When Alice is releasing the cape vulture at Mara, she twice says "good boy" to the vulture, which means that the vulture is male. When she returns to Leopard's Den and tells Danny about the release, Alice says "Watching her flying away like that was amazing" which would mean that the vulture was female. (00:00:40)
Character mistake: In the epilogue, Charlie illustrates the relationship of mathematics to real life by discussing the golden ratio and its presence in a host of real-life situations, including the shape of a nautilus shell and the distribution of petals in a flower. These claims are disputed by some mathematicians (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_ratio#Nature), and the one about the nautilus shell one is untrue (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_spiral#Spirals_in_nature). It's possible Charlie is just repeating what he has read or heard without investigating it for himself, but this is uncharacteristic of him.
Character mistake: The way Henry takes Barry's blood pressure, he will not get any results. Neither the blood pressure cuff nor the stethoscope work reliably through clothing. As a doctor, he should know how to do it right.
On The Lam / Family Man - S5-E17
Character mistake: In the wrestling match, the bell rings after the referee counts to 3 - but he's counting while a wrestler is on the mat stomach-first; a pin requires the loser to be on his back.
First Blood - S12-E9
Character mistake: Sam points out Elk Mountain, but there is no Elk Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Character mistake: Rufus says "That was before I found out you raped my 14 year old daughter." referring to Jenny. Jenny, in previous seasons is 15. Jenny was born in 1993, and season 4 was filmed in 2010, making Jenny 16 at least. (00:25:35)
Suggested correction: In this scene, Rufus saying, "my 14 year old daughter..." was referring to Jenny's age at the time Chuck tired to force himself onto her (beginning of the first season), not her current age in season 4. Jenny was 14 in the beginning of season 1.
