Continuity mistake: When Tristan climbs onto the duelling platform to see if Joey is OK, his right hand is ahead of his left hand. The guard then tells Tristan to get down, and he is not shown moving his hands, but in the next shot of Tristan, his left hand is suddenly ahead of his right hand. (00:08:12)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the previous episode, Joey's monsters, the Legendary Fisherman, Insect Queen and Jinzo were all in defence mode. In this episode, the monster cards cannot be seen under the monsters, nor are they kneeling down, which would indicate they are in attack mode.

Continuity mistake: When Odion tells Joey his chances of victory have vanished, Joey replies, "I'm gonna have to disagree." The two monster cards on his duel disk are upside down. Then there is a close-up of a card being inserted into a slot, and the monster cards are right side up. (00:02:20)

Continuity mistake: After Odion has activated Judgement of Anubis, just as he says "because they're about to disappear with 2000 of your life points," the tattoo on his face is shown on the left-hand side of his face. Continuity mistake: When Shadi is guiding Pegasus and his camera crew through the tomb, just after Pegasus says "Make sure you're getting all of this on tape," he turns his head to the right and the photographer turns his head to the left. Continuity mistake: In the close-up shot of Yugi's cards on the table, the Kuriboh card can be seen towards the corner of the table furthest away from Yugi. A couple of seconds later, when Shadi walks into the room, the Kuriboh card is now at the opposite side of the table, positioned near the corner closer to Yugi. (00:07:39)

Continuity mistake: When Tea is left alone with Bakura, in the shot of the other characters walking out of the bedroom, one of the chairs next to the bed is shown at a rotated angle. In the next shot, the chair doesn't appear to be rotated at all. (00:19:25)

Continuity mistake: When everyone runs over to Bakura after the duel is over, Marik is missing from the group, despite being next to them for the entirety of the duel. Seconds later, when Tristan begins to carry Bakura, Marik suddenly appears next to the group. (00:15:10 - 00:15:33)

Continuity mistake: When the duel finishes, Yugi starts running over to Bakura's side of the playing field to reach him. Joey then says, "Lower that arena and get them down here," and the playing field is visible in the foreground of the shot, but Yugi cannot be seen anywhere running across it. (00:15:03)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi activates the trap card Collective Powers, the Kuriboh card is on the left-hand side of the duel disk and is in defence mode. Continuity mistake: When Gamma the Magnet Warrior's attack is deflected back onto Yugi, two monster cards can be seen on his duel disk. The two monster cards are next to each other. But seconds later, when Bakura tells Yugi he'll see what Darl Sanctuary is capable of soon enough, there is suddenly an extra monster card zone shown in between the two cards. (00:03:04 - 00:03:36)

Continuity mistake: When Odion arrives at the stadium while impersonating Marik, there is a wide shot where Joey says, "I think I scared him, Yug." In the wide shot, Yugi and Joey appear to be standing ahead of Kaiba. Then, in a shot focusing on Kaiba, the two are suddenly aligned with Kaiba. Tea also changes position, going from being directly behind Yugi and Joey to being behind them on their right in between shots. (00:07:32)
